Well, this one isn't anywhere near as strong as our old Teacher. Also, unlike before, the population center is further away than before too.

I do wonder what the White Sky is going to think about our growing habit of blowing up passing ice ladies. That seems like the sort of thing they'd have an opinion on.

This resonates with our idea of Stagnation is Death, and that we should Disrupt What Is, and in doing so, Shape What Will Be. If Hanyi keeping her company kills the spirit, then atleast the next iteration will be better suited for human interaction.

Stagnation is death.
So they need to either adapt or perish.
 
To be fair, I don't think the Mother would disagree with our ideas about stagnation being a slow death; she knows she's being worn away by inches and drops. She just isn't able to change enough to do anything else, and has accepted that her death will inevitably come because of this.
 
Think about it this way, if you allow spirits to have their own growth, ecology and society even at the cost of uncertainty or chaos for mortals (that Cultivators will have to deal with), why, that's the Weilu way of doing things, a stated goal that is close to the heart of our protagonist.

Sealing off the mountain tops and dusting your hands while saying "job well done, peace for a thousand years" is the Peaks/Imperial Way of doing things.

Hence, I am compelled by narrative to vote:
