This is bad news. :( Sukakaja and Debilitate alone would be a massive boost for her (less spending magic on time stop to dodge or hit things), and I don't remember SMT IV having a lot of Gun skills learned from demons. Then again, I usually go physical-agility+a utility spell, so I wouldn't know.

Ahahaha, not sure if Sayaka failed an INT roll there or Homura's just come to that conclusion so long ago she doesn't even have an emotional reaction about it.

Just need to get a Demon Whisper from a Demon that knows one of the following.
  • Needle Shot
  • Dream Needle
  • Toxic Sting
  • Stun Needle
  • Madness Needle
  • Tathlum Shot
  • Myriad Arrows
  • Stun Needles
  • Rapid Needle
  • Blast Arrow
  • Star Tarantella(DLC-Only)
So you can get Gun skills for Flynn/Nanashi, just need to finagle things right. That said, I think you can also get some in Strange Journey via Demon Sources?
ADD: Yes, yes you can. for example, you can get a Demon Source for Riot Gun from Genma Kresnik, Reaper Thanatos, or Deity Vishnu. though that only affects Demons and not People. However, our good friend Hitonari(the SJ Protag) can get different Gun Skills based on the Gun they have equipped.

I can't remember SJ learning *any* Gun skills from Demons, just equipped from the guns themselves, so I didn't mention it.

Been a long while tho -- the 3DS version partially-ruined the game for me. (Having to choose a limited capacity of apps was a major part of the balancing, and the invasion of lolicon-waifu-demon design pisses me off even if I like the general idea of the new endings. Even if the convincing Law/Chaos leads should've been harder, or had Lucifier's literal daughter having to show them proof.)

Many of those were underwhelming at best -- I just used my gun to trigger a Smirk and did damage from other means instead.

Hey, it's hardly my problem they chose to disrespect the mangaka and the fandom's existing attachment by changing it. (If in a less-egregious way than Disney did to Star Wars fans, or Paramount to the fans of the Star Trek novelverse now known as the "First Splinter") I'd even call it hypocritical, seeing their reasoning for not *properly* remaking Persona 1 and the 2 duology, even faithfully, is that it would be "disrespectful" to change the originals.

Besides, I like the cadence much more. Mi-na-to Ari-sa-to, vs Ma-ko-to Yu-ki.

    -[X] Ask Madoka if she can hit you with a healing spell once or twice, maybe even make the healing stretch out a bit over time? All this theory isn't helping, maybe a full example of the spell will make it easier for yourself.
    --[X] Try to mimic or move that feeling to your hands and try to cast Dia yourself, keep trying a few times while Madoka has you under the healing.
    ---[X] If your still struggling, or even if you succeed, see about getting into contact with Yumi to schedule a training session, you really need to train with her more, you just need to find a good time. Maybe Madoka and Transfer Student know what she's up to?

    -[X] The Labrynth looks like a school, with origami Familiars. The Witch looks like the Wonderland boss from Kingdom Hearts 1. All relatively weak. Good for training. There is a small band of low level Neutral demons that got pulled in and are fighting the familiars.
    -[X] Sayaka will fight familiars (with help nearby) and try to befriend the demons.
