Why choose me for training? And how?
[X] [Her relationship with Medea]
It doesn't seem particularly pleasant.

Farewell, Shinji. May you be kinder in your next life.
Tfw when you get instantly "seigi no mikata'd" without even putting up a proper fight. I doubt Shinji's Servant is as down and out as Archer thinks.
At least we've gotten Mash back. Also, quick Google search suggests that bow was Odysseus', which seems topical.

"Master that's…" Caster begins, then pauses, a perplexed expression on her face. "A fine plan actually."

Medea is here, contemplating how she may have stumbled into the apocalypse. Shirou has a good plan.

And you didn't know her well enough to know if the fact that Shinji had just murdered a man would be enough. Regardless. "Please?" you offer.

Illya stares at you for a moment, then she grins broadly. "Okay!"

Then she's gone, the only sign that she was ever there being a new fresh snowfall caused by the shockwave of Rider's movement.

Ilya is just having the BEST day. Her brother is spending time with her, and depending on her, and she can be a big sister!

"He was just a guy!" Shinji says through broken teeth.

And thus did Shinji seal his fate. Alas, you could have made better decisions if Zouken hadn't destroyed you.

The iron tip of the arrow went through his neck and jutting out the otherside, the teenager stumbled for a few moments before falling forward, his arms limp at his side.

"Caster…" you say quietly. "Please make sure he's…"

Ah, Shirou makes his first kill, I'm sure he will handle this well.

You tried to think back on it, but… you honestly couldn't make out any of the details, it was far away from you now. The little things, the conversations, you could only focus on one thing in particular, and repeatedly at that.

Or you know, not. I think a bit of a fugue state at killing your childhood friend is reasonable.

"It isn't, no." Circe replies. "Or, at least. If you do not believe it to be fine, it isn't. Nor is it my task in this world to convince you that the blood upon your hands can be washed away with merely a thought. That is your burden to bear as you wish." Her hand then moves to your shoulder, and you turn your head to find yourself staring into her gemstone-like eyes. "But I will say that if you hadn't, more would have died. You saved more lives today than you took, by far."

Man, Medea looks to have been right to send Circe to help Shirou here, very nice.

Let's get some answers, and move the ship forward a bit possibly!

Wow. We actually managed to put Shinji down before the little bastard could actually get away, and that dusts off the unknown Servant he had been touting too. Splitting the part was so good an idea even Medea said so, which is how you know she's pleased with us using our head!

But yeah, now we have Shirou's existential crisis to help work through. Poor kid should not have to have this kind of blood on his hands, but it a literal case of doing it or more people die because of this selfish war. It isn't fair, but nobody is playing by the rules anymore and he's stuck cleaning up a mess he didn't make. At least we have Mash and Fujimaru to help with this madness.

[X] [That bow I used today]

Something about this screams it's more then it appears. That, and we did just use it to kill a man so I feel it deserves some inspection.

[X] [Her thoughts on the situation.]

Speaking of inspection, let's see what she's dug up!

Shirou's words were cutoff as your fist collides with his mouth. Your circuits roared to life as you reinforced your hand and arm, and Shinji stumbled backwards,
I may just be reading this wrong but shouldn't it be Shinji's words since he's the one getting punched? Or did he punch Shirou the moment he opened his mouth before getting punched back?

"Caster," you say quietly. "I'm going after Shinji. Help me with that. The rest of you, go after the servant. The sooner we get this under control the less danger there is for everyone else."

"Master that's…" Caster begins, then pauses, a perplexed expression on her face. "A fine plan actually."

Medea: Something is wrong, he is not normally this smart.

The iron tip of the arrow went through his neck and jutting out the otherside, the teenager stumbled for a few moments before falling forward, his arms limp at his side.
"Where's…" Sakura begins, looking at you.

"Dead," Caster replies, landing just to your left. "The command seals are no longer present and I have confirmed the body isn't a duplicate like before. The servant shall soon disappear now that its master has ceased to be."

People are already getting the brandy out in celebration.

You stand there for several moments, unsure if you should be helping people make it out of the temple and away from the fighting, or if you should be running towards the fighting yourself. Your decision however, is temporarily halted by Fujimaru's voice calling out.

"Mash!?"

You turn towards the sound of it to see Fujimaru at the midpoint of the steps, with that pink haired girl you noticed earlier at the top, having just made it with that elder she was helping move.

"Master!?"

With interest you watch as Fujimaru sprints up the steps, a wide smile on her face. The pink haired girl, Mash you suppose, has but a moment to look surprised before Fujimaru wraps her in a hug and kisses her.

Well, that explains why she looked like she was dead inside without her. Also:
Medea: I want that...
Sakura: ...Me too...
Circe: And don't you dare forget about me!
Ayako: HEY!

Sakura said little, did little, you hadn't paid much attention.

Yeah, I want to take an action for Sakura as soon as possible.

Hopefully we get an answer about, is she going to be able to heal that arm? with either of these options.
Well, since we will get an answer about that wound no matter what, then I will change my vote, these seem interesting.

Forgot to do quotes!

"Please?" you offer.

... is that gonna work? I mean...

... oh right.. Illya.

The iron tip of the arrow went through his neck and jutting out the otherside, the teenager stumbled for a few moments before falling forward, his arms limp at his side.

Shinji quest: WE GOT KILLED BY SHIROU?!?!?
GM: *trying to avoid laughing* I've been waiting SO long for this you edgelords.

You have a good heart, Shirou.
This Is way Sakura, Taiga, Ayako, Medea and Circe love you.

You just saw the happiness in Ritsuka's face when she found her Servant, Mash. A hug and a Kiss.

You can have that, and deserve as much, if you are willing to open yourself to be loved.

(Also thank Tiamat Ritsuka isn't canon dense-as-f*** regarding their feelings with Mash)

Shirou probably doesn't have a way of knowing in-character, but I'm pretty sure that's Odysseus' bow since that's the only famous archer associated with Circe. Famous enough that it's a well-known part of his legend, but not enough that it ever gets a name.

It's main thing was that it was too heavy to knock and draw unless you were Odysseus, which was how he proved his identity when he finally got back to Ithaca. Or knew the technique to use it.

Shirou probably didn't even think twice about it because he would have known how to use it just from analyzing the bow.

I'm literally just a heroic little guy.

[X] [Why… did she come onto you?]

Stop being horny, we're trying to be a hero

Isn't Odysseus's bow Heracles's bow? If I remember that's the main reason behind why it was so hard to use

Oh my God she is too adorable.
There was nothing you could do
Umm. You have half a dozen servant level allies? If you were less dead set on handling things as a one man crusade and delegated a little, like you did today, you would have probably have gotten a lot more done.
