No? My point is literally that we don't need to reconsider the plan because a decade is already long enough for the unit to get practice and training.
And the quoted part is the QM disagreeing with that though. I believed it too, but we were wrong.

[X] Plan Slower Rolling

[X] Plan: Extra Spicy Chocolate
-[X] [Psykana] Conduct a Melody (Fire)
-[X] [General] Plant The Bean
-[X] [Psykana] Hunt down the remaining Psykana Experiments
That will result in more people dieing due to military only having one of the required 2 units.

[X] Plan: Winning before celebrating.
Turns out, the plan has an error, the units aren't fully effective the turn they are raised, If we raid the arkana now, there will be increased casualties.
Plan Slower Rolling
Is doing optimal preparation for hunting next turn.

[X] Solving Literally All Of Our Food Problems Forever
-[X] [General] Plant The Bean
-[X] [General] Construct Something
--[X] Food Production
-[X] [Military] Raise A Specialised [Medium] Infantry Unit - [Assault]

Textual Evidence for the points emphasized in this vote:

...oh.

To be honest, I completely forgot that. But yeah, the Frozen Moon has fish that can be eaten by humans and has several plants and animals which could be hunted and cultivated once you believe that establishing an outpost/colony is worth being discovered or you have taken control of the system in one way or another. The Kil'drabi would also be able to send you breeding populations/enough seeds to make those on-station if you take the food action yourself before that point.

That is evidence for more food diversity, but not "forever", it would be perfectly reasonable if its still just one food district worth of diverse plants growing/animal breeding.

Oh sure, but between the chocolate and the fact that we already have adequate food supplies, it's going to last us a few generations, probably. At this point a dozen turns or more is basically forever.

[X] Deus Ex Chocolate Factory
-[X] [General] Plant The Bean
-[X] [Faith] Motive Force And Cradle Slumbers
-[X] [Military] Raise A Specialised [Medium] Infantry Unit - [Assault]

Let's nail down our doctrine. Alternatively, we can skip chocolate for a turn and preach to xenos instead, going full faith this turn.

Alongside that, we have come to a slightly baffling realization: there is no copper within the system's celestial bodies. None. No place we have yet poked at has had any indication of having any deposits, not even a few kilos. Though we are not in critical need of copper right now, the Council should consider searching for a source of that material and how it should be obtained, as the only other places we have yet to examine are the High-Energy Desert and Inhabited Water World, and what information we have available point us to look at the High-Energy Desert first.
ah shucks that really really sucks next turn I wanted to finish up all t1 infrastructure/industry just so we can get all the basic of our station set up, have it so our people don't just have algea for food
-[] Food Production
-[] Civilian Infrastructure
-[] Medical Services
Ideally want to get all these set up in the next turn or two so we can get our people food and massivel increase QoL and morale for people. Get standard of living up and good medical services for everyone/our mutants to
[] [Faith] Motive Force And Cradle Slumbers
The nascent Cult of the Star Child has been established, yet it must answer a lot of questions for itself, chief among them the doctrine and truth they shall follow to unite the Omnissiah and the God-Emperor with the Motive Force, or if that will not be needed should Teeln, Prophet of the Star Child, be graced with another vision that would lay this debate to rest.
(Gain: Nail down the technical aspects of the Cult of the Star Child, improving your technological means by proxy.)

[] [Faith] Preach To We Who Yet Wander
Having been brought under the gentle embrace of the Star Child and giving tribute to those who fight in its name for a better galaxy, the Kil'drabi represent the first among many Xeno species we shall show an existence beyond fighting for only themselves. Already culturally compatible with the ideals and tenets of the Star Child, focusing on community and cohesion against the dangers of the void and long travels, bringing them fully into the fold would be a boon for all. Though that will most likely happen naturally over a century or two, just not as thorough as some may like, thanks to their small numbers and frequent contact with us.
(Gain: The Kil'drabi are slowly converted to the Cult of the Star Child and given more resistance to the predations of Chaos.)
next turn we should prob do these together along side hunting the chaos expierment I suspect there will be good synergy from doing 2 star child faith actions together and just so we can get started on bring the Kil'drabi into it the starchild worship. Then the motive force is one of the last basic actions we have left to do so I'd rather get it done soon
[] [General] Instruct SM-001-A To Investigate (Location)
Each has its ups and downs, and each is a challenge. The High-Energy Desert is unlikely to offer more than a look into the system we now reside in, but it will open doors that will not allow others to peek back at us. In contrast to the two, the Inhabited Water World will likely be a danger of exposure and can easily be filled with those unlikely to keep shut about us, but it will have a wealth of information that the other two locations likely won't be able to offer us.
(Locations: High-Energy Desert, Inhabited Water World.
Gain: Knowledge? Warning? Opportunity?)
after those we should send people looking for copper prob the desert world first then water world

Yeah, I noticed. In this case it really does seem like the QM is just finding new problems to throw onto the pile despite decade-long turns already making "raising a single military unit" far more hassle than it actually is IRL.
This is probably me not getting what I mean across effectively.

I am not saying: "The newly raised Units will suck and die if you deploy them now for the Hunt."

I am saying: "The newly raised Units will work with some reduced effectiveness if sent to the Hunt the same turn they are raised."

If you were fighting in a normal war, you could raise Units and chuck them at the front no problem, but not in this case. Not against Psykana Experiments that had years of entrenching, learning, feeding, and growing.

I gather that me saying this [Yes, but not to 100% effectiveness.] to the question of if a Unit raised this Turn can fight the Psykana was either taken to mean all future plans, or I am drastically failing at reading comprehension somewhere.

Edit: I promise I am not a hostile/malicious QM, just occasionally a garden variety incompetent one.

After this, we just need to do Civilian Infrastructure and the Cradle-Shrines bit and I think we'll have our basic setup finished!

Medical Services, extending our Chaos proctection to the Kil'drabi ([] [Faith] Preach To We Who Yet Wander) and getting a few melodies for the Choir.
