I think people are overestimating the risks of Habsburg Delenda Est and underestimating those of Case Vigo. Attacking Vienna is just a repeat of what we did last turn with Prague, except this time we have ironclad support all along our line of advance.

Now, it's fair to say that we probably won't take Vienna this turn—i think we could have if we pulled reinforcements from Poland, but that's not in the cards. But even forcing the Austrians to fall back to the city is going to drastically reduce their options and force them to abandon the Alps.

The risk of Vigo, on the other hand, is that it leaves a large Austrian force situated in Vienna with interior lines. They can move rapidly from there to respond to the Italian offensive and turn the Alps into much more of a meat grinder. Brno does threaten Vienna, but it doesn't pin their forces in place, and they should be able to garrison the city's approaches while also sending a few armies at Italy.
