It's kinda sad how we had all parties neck and neck but now suddenly everybody is voting for the same two parties
 
Dengism only worked because at the same time it was part of America beginning deindustrialization to destroy unions while also wanting a strong counter to the Soviet Union in Asia. Chinese workers were technically skilled but used as cheap labour with subpar wages. The government maintained a strong grip on the economy and working class to try to funnel money back into the economy, which it managed to do, however it only got that money because of the unique circumstances that allowed it to develop its industries.

Germany has neither of those two things going for it. Opening our markets up results in it getting gutted to turn us into a captive market for British and French goods. We aren't going to become China as a manufacturing hub for Europe. We're going to be Yeltsin's Russia. Britain and France want to destroy German industry to remove it as a military and economic threat to their domination of the continent. We are not a source of cheap labour. We have the most progressive and extensive labour laws in the entire world right now.

If a British capitalist wants industrial goods for cheap, negotiating with a German coop to let them invest is about the worst way of getting it. Britain and France starved Germany during the civil war. Did everyone forget that? The Dengist platform would have no supporters in universe. This is an annoying thread brigade pushing for a stale meme that doesn't make sense in character. Removing worker protections to open our economy up to foreign investment doesn't suddenly make us filthy rich. It'll make us poor. We're going to be Yeltsin's Russia if we pursue this course of action.

-[] Make a requirement to be a political or worker's representative to not ever, after the 1880 costitution, have supported or have been part of any organization that has supported reactionary ideas in Germany like the separation of powers in three different branches. To avoid the masked dissolution of the reactionaries organization, further new ones will be marked as counting between the reactionaries if, at any point, 1% of all members or candidates have been part of one of the previous categories. To protect unaware citiziens/comrades/citizien-comrades, lists of the people inside those categories will be easily accessibile to everyone and public, and a grace period will be given to any cooperative or political party, starting by the day in which the person enters the list or joins for the first time the organization, to allow them to armonize their position within the law.

We are just a few years after the revolution struck down a reactionary movement. If nothing is done, we risk a Russian like vanguard system supported by the military veterans, purges, or political pogroms as the parliament is seen as an useless institution by the veterans or those who had someone die during the revolution. Or even another civili war.

So, I think that, in the next turn, we should all vote for this option, or one similar. I really think that the alternative will be blood in the streets.

May this become, in the future, a moment of national unity for the betterment of the nation!

So if you belive that opening our markets will result in us getting gutted, what do our high wages for workers even mean? If we are producing expensive goods but our wages are good monetarily that is just us allowing inflation to run away rather then any revolutionary accomplishment. The only way then logically to actually compensate our workers for their labor and actually justify their high wages would then be opening or at least internally lowering goods prices. If you think that a partial sale of enterprises on a voluntary basis would destroy us that is a strong indicator you have no faith in the peoples army, as they are right there to expropriate the capitalists that spend money on our enterprises and expose the contradictions in capitalism. If the burgoiuse is to make a mistake and invest in us, why should we not exploit the greed of every individual capitalist against the capitalist states?

The idea that the army is an answer to losing control of our economy is silly. An army lives and dies by its supply chain, and the progint plan is selling out the ability to shape what that supply chain is going to be through funding. What's the army going to do when it has to march into all the factories that depend on British cash to shut them down, then fight a war without all their international supply chains to defend those actions?

Becoming more dependent on foreign capital isn't a trap for the bourgeoisie because it integrates us into their order and makes us dependent on its running.

Why would our own workers follow the British line because British capital is at all involved. The workers will not just surrender their control because the people paying to expand a factory change? If they will, then what is the point of the entire revolution if the very workers will jump ship the second even partial foreign investment is involved.

This is, of course, the point. NatGov remains steadfast in its commitment to making common-cause with its western allies in the fight against socialists and jacobins.
 
Well, that's a huge change from before. Complete shift in how people were voting. We had a fairly even spread among the top three, and now its van com vs progint when progint was barely a thing last vote count.

Just a reminder of our financial situation for potential voters to keep in mind, there are quite a few plans with pretty expensive items that don't really cut expenses or directly raise revenues. Our economic growth is only at medium as well, so putting on hopes that our economy outpaces our debt is risking a balance of payments crisis, which is not in anyone's interest, especially our citizens who so dutifully borrowed us money.

--[x] Support establishment of regional banks in each district or region to provide loans to citizens seeking to establish new innovative co-operative enterprises or allow them to deposit savings.
--[x] Rationalize the current system of social security by transferring the duty of providing them to the unions and co-operatives, with the state supporting them through subsidies and tax breaks now.
 
So, do we all agree to at least ban the progressive independents from future elections?

Because the arguments for their choice ignore the existence of a more reasonable (for this Germany) movement, which makes all of their positions iffy and less credible.

At least wait to see what the next turn looks like? Chances are there's going to be a cordon sanitaire anyways. The ProgInds don't have the votes to push through their platform.
