Medusa has Magic Resistance B, Shirou's got nowhere enough juice to so much as jostle her. Getting his throat cut isn't much of a loss to him if he's saved quickly, especially since Artoria is at hand and Caster is there, I'm sure Avalon could be triggered somehow.

Im not sure how stronf and what Circe has thought us thus far but if it buys us time away from the knife we can summon caster. Besides I'm not trusting Illya to be sane right now. The knife is too close to summon caster unless Rider has orders not to kill and this is a bluff but I don't want to call it.
