Think we could talk Mouse into taking correspondence courses to get a law degree?
We could make him a doggie keyboard that's easier to use than a phone, and put a devil in whatever computer we get him to make it Dresden proof.

Then next time he gets in trouble we can see the glory that is Mouse wearing a bow tie collar defending Harry in court using his "text to speech device". :V
 
A new Sorcerer book has been published in the line of M20 books, just since month, or so wikipedia claims.

Er... guys Mouse does not know who Harry is looking for or he would have told you, what he does know is who Harry was talking about that with and that is the part that is secret...

You know what you would have guessed anyway, it's Bob, Bob is who he was talking to about Mab's job and it being known that Harry has Bob is what's really dangerous.

What's our timeline like anyway? We should probably bail soon, so that we can come back tomorrow morning with minimal arguments.

If Mouse is actually willing to introduce us to Bob we'll probably want to talk to him for a while, and breaking the scene up would be annoying.
 
On one level I want to know IC that Bob exists, on the other is is starting to feel like too much snooping. Our whole justification for being here is to protect Harry's stuff, not riffle through it.

So the killer is probably another fetch. Because fetches are shapeshifters and strong enough to dismember a dude.
If he'd told us he had another case going on, we'd have been able to guess that there was someone else who might want him out of the way. Goddammit Harry.

Knowing about Bob is dangerous. Not as dangerous as knowing about Lash dangerous, but dangerous.

And it is true that in canon he didnt tell Murphy about Bob until about the events of Changes. Didnt tell Molly about Bob for several years even as an apprentice. Still, Cowl and Kumori both know he has Bob at this point. And Bob later passes on into Butters possession with no complications when Harry was dead.

Just Harry doing Harry things.

Hmm. Actually, Evil Bob, Bob's evil twin is out there somewhere in Chicago right now.
So is the Capriocorpus's ghost.

Its not snooping though? We didnt bring it up, Mouse did.
Gonna have to trust Mouse's judgement on this.

Thats inaccurate.

His threshold is kinda shit because he's a bachelor renting a flat, so he gets none of the family and home ownership buffs.
His wards on the other hand are pretty goddamn good. People have repeatedly tried to pop them unsuccessfully.
In Death Masks, they bounced an entropy curse by the Denarian Quintus Cassius who had his blood.

And that was two years ago. They've gotten better since.

Yeah he brought it up, but it's not really his secret and he's clearly reluctant to say more.

We know enough to press Dresden, which we should do when we can.

But the whole point of being here was concern over Dresden's lab getting shaken down for secrets and magic goodies. We're moving into violating his space and privacy to a degree I at least am uncomfortable with doing to someone we call a friend.

It's annoying to slow things down, so I can understand voting to proceed, but now that I've thought more about it I think we're going a bit too far given Molly and Harry's current relationship. We aren't playing Murphy here; we're his friend's kid, not a trusted ally.

We're edging into some sort of weird para social relationship based on our OOC knowledge of Dresden that isn't really representative of how well he knows and trusts Molly.

If we are talking IC Vs OOC information Molly does not know the person Harry talked to is the skull in his possession and thus that she would have to go into his lab to meet them. She is expecting to be told to go somewhere in the city

In theory, the crown let's us find people pretty easily, right? Especially if they are interesting supernatural people. Is a name enough for the crown to answer "where is Jane Doe?"
