From the perspective of doing the best for Meizhen, my criteria is "Which person would be best exposed to Meizhen to convince them of her path, and which one could we do the best job of convincing them of Meizhen's path." While some of it may be Xia Anxi's initial characterization as the snootier, classist-sist Bai, I think that convincing Lao Keung that Meizhen is a worthy White-caste is something that she'll be able to do with little more on our part than letting them stay in passive contact. His introduction was so smooth that I'm having a hard time thinking of how his attitude towards the Red Bai/White Bai social split would be a problem that we would need to buffer by easing him into a different attitude. Xia Anxi seems to require a heavier hand, and can act as a mutual grindstone for LQ's Expression concepts.
