It opens up a lot more Anam aspects for us to cycle from. You never know when you'll need 5 Hunger Anam or a quick hit of Star anam. Cycling different types of Anam would also help further KZ's cultivation knowledge and could help with insights.

Kong Zhi is already a small cycling beast. I am more concerned about our lack of spiritual stamina.

Because in the end, what usually makes us vulnerable is running dry, this gives us a fair bit extra in the long run.

It's on theme, plus gives us a use for Mats we don't have use for

Will this also apply to aspects Zhi becomes more Attuned with during Farmer stage?

A standard Cycling action currently gives 18 anam median (or 25 for charm infusion). This will instead be 22 (or 31 for charm infusion).
This should be more or less what we get when Rainbow Eyes is used right? So if we used that and had a 1.2 multiplier we'd be at 26(or 37 for charm infusion) probably only worth it if we can outsource repairing RE though.

Edit:
I went for capacity as that is useful right now. Getting Cultivation skill to 8 might take longer than one extra action and I fear thread fatigue on this. I don't want to lock in action at every other city on the way to study cultivation.

Drawing from materials is good too, but we would feel sad depleting materials we could someday craft with.

Devour every archive and library that we come across on the land until Zhi eventually gains the epithet of the Reader, and solidifies a strong foundation.

Rainbow Eyes would give 25, assuming it had enough charges. This is only half of what RE does.

If we took a 1.2 multiplier option, it still wouldn't be action efficient to repair RE. We really did outgrow it 3 Cycling skill ago.
 
Good job in making the decision difficult here. At first glance all of them can become very useful.

Still, imho progress enhancers trumps most other things.

It's at a debuff, but with our high Cycling Skill that's not as bad as you think.

40d10s6 * 0.3 averages out to 5-6 Successes, 7-8 for Infusing charms.

That means we can essentially pull the same amount of anam as Cloud's Breath out of thin air if the buff was applied now. It'll be more when it's unlocked since we need 12 Cycling to use this buff.

Would be amazing for recovering after fights or refilling our core mid-dungeon, no need to waste pills outside of a fight

I expect we would get at least +1 from finishing An Elegant Plume, which we can do in two weeks time.
Our last skill up on Cycling was when we finished infusing A Fractal View, and that was a while ago.

Yes and no

We've consistently gotten at least one rank up in cycling for completing a charm. And we can craft on the road.

And Integrating Techs can also give us Skill Ups in Cycling, and we are just about to Integrate Plume

No we haven't. We've gotten cycling up for three of our charms APR, the Box and AFV. Completing AFV was the first time we got an increase to cycling since the box
