@Tekomandor, Is that actually practical? Can Mass Shadow Clone practically be used, in this story by Hisana, to learn things faster? ("She has to spend a week saving up the chakra to use it and it doesn't last long" would be a reasonable-enough way to nerf and prevent this. Same with "she is brilliant... but not brilliant enough to stop full Mass-Shadow-Clone learning from melting her brains out of her ears" would be a slightly darker take on the same nerf.)

It takes about a day to fil Hisana's chakra back up, and she'd need to spend three days doing nothing but filling her seal up after using it for training. It's not practical at the moment.

I was a little apprehensive given that the Trenchcoats had been here; it was not safe to assume that the nature chakra engine there might not have been modified to do something different from canon.
Things worked out though.

Of course, a bunch of Hisana's best techniques are about to become internationally known because they were caught on film, so she's going to need to invest in some new ones. Good thing her ninjutsu just went up.
Noting that Hinata's opponent survived, while both Sana and Karin's did not.

Nice Sage Mode preview there with Doto turning into stone. EDIT Probably going to need both Iryojutsu and Fuinjutsu at A-rank in order to get into it though. And Hisana looted was gifted a new sword. Naruto's going to be so jealous. The armor is probably going to be more useful though, as something to study in order to develop new techniques and to improve her current ones; the sealwork is probably worth a couple points of fuinjutsu.

Given the GM's ruling about Mass Shadow Clone, I think we should go with our old love. Minato killed a lot of people with a simple kunai and blistering speed, after all.
40 points to get Fuinjutsu to A-rank, then we can pick Elemental Seals/Sealing Art: Arcing Razor Wind.

This is a Chakra Cloak technique. A weak, underdeveloped one, but nevertheless, we can get a Chakra Cloak technique. Fuck the hell yes.

Moving on: that is a truly movie-worthy end to that fight. Progress towards Beast Slaying Vacuum Talon, the first hints of Sage Mode being genuinely possible for us, and we got a cool sword that can freaking regenerate faster than Kubikiribocho. Without needing blood. I approve.

Chakra Capacity: 105 -> 115 (+10)
Chakra Control: 170 -> 175 (+5)
Some of those may include omake bonuses I missed along the way though.

Me, too. I'm guessing - with hindsight - that they considered "changing the outcome of the mission" to break canon even further. Though, if they had someone hilariously good at sealing etc, that wouldn't necessarily rule out embedding a "kill Hisana if she's around when it activates" effect...

Storm Release: Black Lightning, to be exact. That's not mook territory; solid jounin rating to use it that easily, I suspect. I'm sure Cloud thought they had a monopoly on this technique; they'd be very displeased to find out they were wrong when they see the movie.

Hisana might actually get a fruit basket for killing the guy.

Their goal is to stick as close to canon as possible. They'll fudge things along the way, especially to 'fix' changes done by others, but changing the weather machine to a weapon changes the outcome completely. So it's a nonstarter for them.
