Threads Of Destiny(Eastern Fantasy, Sequel to Forge of Destiny)

Voted best in category in the Users' Choice awards.
It's worth noting, for anyone voting on the basis of Gan's comfort:
"Gan Guangli?" Ling Qi asked, nonplussed. "Is there something wrong?"

"No, no," he dismissed with a nervous chuckle as they met in the hall. "Sir Osrik was just insistent that I find you if I was leaving."

Ling Qi raised an eyebrow.

Gan Guangli's shoulders sagged, and when he spoke it was at a much lower volume than his usual boom. "Is this what it is like to be an unmarried young lady? Treated as if you cannot possibly fend for yourself?"
He wasn't objecting to being hit on, he was objecting to being treated as though he ought to be afraid of being hit on. That doesn't necessarily mean either that he'll enjoy being tossed into the barracks alone or that he won't, just that he didn't like the social effect of people feeling he needed to be constantly protected and on guard due to his gender and presentation.

[X] To the dining hall, to find Meng Dan

Wonder if Meng Dan is also being harrassed for being single? Or does Gan Flexington's Sun nature more of a catch?

[X] To the dining hall, to find Meng Dan

Our pal Gan seems a bit stressed and in need of more calming company to help him loosen up and relax.
Xia Lin and him seem to be at odds, so it'd be confrontational.
Gan wants to always present her best face to Cai Renxiang, which will be likely a bit tense.

With Meng, boys gonna be boys and Gan Guangly might be able to be at ease for a bit, and willing to discuss what happened to him. If Meng has also been treated in the same awkward way he implies to have been treated by women, they might want to be able to discuss it.

[X] Toward the stairs, where she could feel Cai Renxiang

I believe it is time for the Left and Right Hands to share their thoughts with their Lady.

Different subject, I wonder at what level the cosmology and metaphysics of the setting diverges between cultures. Just how different actually are the Moons that Ling Qi and Sveta honor?
