Picture 108 cultivators all bound bi-directionally to each other... It would start getting really strange, I imagine, splitting your essence shared evenly that much... 🤔🤔🤔

I think after all that jazz with hivemind emperor pretender and nuking of approximatedly(spell check where is it?) quarter of Empire's citizens by Phoenix and resulted evil undead lands anything about merging souls, minds and dantians in any permanent matters gets erased extra hard.

This is starting to sound a lot like the twilight king. Having any kind of malicious agent in any of those souls would corrupt the entire graph. You would need to have some kind of method to halt corruption.

There is also the fact that increasing the number of spirits connected to you increases personal qi costs. This seems to scale rapidly. How would this envisioned graph of cultivators bare the qi costs?
