The negotiations with the dwarves happened on a neutral ground selected and acceptable by both parties, a flatland in the middle of nowhere was to be the focal point of a negotiation between two rising powers. On one side the Wallachian empire led by a living god who had legions of undead and dragons brought untold prosperity towards the lands of old Bretonnia.
Peasants had more rights and riches than before, they were no longer the people of old who had a high chance of dying either by starvation, disease, or by their rulers who are long since gone. The nobles either died or were imprisoned, their fate to be decided after the situation had become stable in the internal and external affairs, particularly the first.
The other party was the ancient dwarven holds of the grey mountains, though they still were relatively young when compared to other holds in different regions of the world. And poorer as well they were the poorest of the various holds of the dwarfs, a fact which always prickled at their pride. But thanks to the trade with the rising empire they were slowly but steadily catching up with the others.
Now the relations between the two powers will hopefully enter a new stage, as the two start the negotiations…
Options on the table
[] Defensive Pact: In case that a nation declares war upon you or your allies you and they are honor-bound to protect them from the aggressors. Failure to answer the call without the proper excuse will break the pact between you and them.
[] Military Alliance: If you or your ally declare war against a nation, you and they are honor-bound to assist in the war. Failure to provide any type of assistance to your ally or they you will break the alliance.
[] Non-Aggression Pact: You and the other nation make a pact of nonaggression between both of you, this means that both of you will not make any military action against each other. If military action is taken the pact is broken.
[] Legal Immigration: This new law means that it becomes legal for your citizens and the citizens of the grey mountains to legally immigrate from one nation to the other.
