Not only do we know CRX the best, but I honestly think that we have an advantage on leveraging her domain to help break the hold. Temptation to stay should be minimal once she realizes that its a dream.
 
From a narrative perspective, this feels like a somewhat significant decision. So I would say only Meng Dan makes no sense here since we know him least.

The other three all have characters arcs that make having a 'moment of narrative significance' here appropriate. CRX for obvious reasons, Xia Lin because we have spent quite a bit of time with her this arc (This moment would be a capstone to her introduction) and Gan's would work as a re-introduction into the narrative. I want more Xia Lin, so:

It seems CRX is the front runner, but personally I think these two would be a refreshing change of pace from a narrative perspective.

Good Point. Of course the absence of Yinhui would also be indicative of a problem to someone with a high perception like Meng Dan, and I still think Meng Dan is at least as good of a choice as Gan or Xia. That said I do agree with the majority that CRX is the best choice.

Her ideals and dreams are a major draw of the Cai route, not exploring them when given the chance would be an immense waste.

I feel like typing an actual argument in favor of not pressing the big red button would be a waste, but what the hell, maybe we'll see an upset. Stranger things have happened.
 
The thing about being caught in a lotus eater is you often see thing's you want to see, it's your mind playing against itself constructing a false but believable reality, so having a higher perception as hidden doesn't really mean that much.
Especially if the realm difference is cyan agains't early green.

If our domain matters even a little bit, then this one is the obvious choice.

Otoh this seems like a good way to earn SL and make him join our merry band
 
I think CRX would be better as either a capstone to this journey, say some trouble with White Sky, or later on with other characters being able to add their viewpoints on top of Ling Qi's. To build to that, and to deepen our ties with GG, I'm voting for him.

I want to see Renxiang's dream world, in details, to better understand her and her precise goals . Also would like to break her out of the dream before the dress activate, because it seems more dangerous than the Cyan Spirit and, if it goes full Puppet Master, probably bad for Renxiang mental health. I seem to remember she really hated the feeling last time.

This is the one that would be the most interesting I think, and would have the deepest story.

@AbeoLogos makes a great point about their shared core drive and how this could reflect Ling Qi's heart demon... but it's hard to justify IC on why she would choose her?
