I really loved the aspect of Joy in the update and the art itself. Maybe one day we'll use this to blow a raspberry before absconding with important data/rescuees/loot. If we ever get to revisit Tonghou and the Liu with the GM in mind, oh hell yeah, I'm down for that.

The implicit assumption being made I think it's that since we're planning on building a very powerful version of FSS+ in the future as our first successor, we will have a much better fitting, more personal rather than idealized representation of cold and winter that becomes a core part of LQ, and it makes more sense for our mobility/stealth/avoid trickster moon core to focus on those aspects. Which better integrates into the warm interior side of LQ's domain layers than the harsh exterior.

The cold is something we acknowledge a deep resonance with, but ultimately LQ's heart lies scattered among her friends and family.

Though do note the northern wind fits that narrative just fine as well since LQ is ever the instigator of change.

I hesitated between it and the other two (not south) at first, but someone pointed out that the mechanical effect of Avoid corresponds to narrative effect of INTANGIBILITY.

Man, this chapter was awesome. I'm really glad we went with the narrative decision for Ling Qi to treat this art with the full respect it deserves, and ask dress-chan to wait at home <3
I love the idea of Ling Qi turning off all her arts just so she could remember what it's like to be small and scared - and explore how non-small and non-scared she is after all even without any active effects.
I love the idea of coming to the Moon place to cultivate the Moon art by reliving its creation.

I love throwing yourself at the ground and missing.

I love the exploration of how far Ling Qi has come and how her mindset has changed. A musician, a soldier, a sister and a burgeoning diplomat <3
But still someone for whom trickster things are what she does for herself <3
 
I think this might be the most contested vote we had in a while. Even the other close votes did not have this level of swinging back and forth.
