We Are the Gods of a New World Order [Warhammer 50K ~ Warp God Simulator]

To wit, powered carapace armor, plasma pulse carbines, and integrated jump packs.
.....OK apparently the human forces of 50k can have much better gear then what a 40k Guard force would get. I mean plasma carbines? That Tau/Admech level technology not to mention the semi-mass produced power armor and jump packs.

[X] Plan Sow The Seeds Of Faith For The Harvest

It does make sense what with Chaos no longer existing to any meaningful degree (until now). No chaos for instance means no scrap code, so we can expect better computational tech, no Chaos also means more innovation and probably more covert borrowing of tech from xenos.

I see that many people want to spend more tokens on this turn, probably to make sure we are prepared for hard and fast the maximum expansion speed. While it has its good sides, I'd still like to point that doing so is really not in our best interests without a very good military force to back us up. Because the moment we hit our stride and start snowballing in converting people. I once again quote part of the infiltration action, which points out the problem that comes in form of elite combatants that were hanging around the capital city protecting Dana's shitty father:
They are elites who could have probably solved the entire Flayer problem on their own if they weren't tasked with shielding the capital city… Something that'll change real quick if the Governor starts feeling like you're hitting critical mass. Best to know when he's reached that point by getting agents in place to hear the gossip
So without adequately equipped military, that is also numerous enough to cover protecting our followers and not just react to jump pack equipped strike forces suddenly appearing out of nowhere, the Governor can have them slaughtered in numbers that I'm not comfortable thinking about.

As a reminder from the starting post, the reason behind why even backwater planet like this has such well-equipped elite troops:
Science has made a great return to form in these days, as the eradication of Chaos has permitted the Adeptus Mechanicus to delve deep into the once proscribed depths of their oldest Forges, inert Scrapcode and daemonic husks no bar to their wild search… And their faith was finally rewarded, as the depths of the Noctis Labyrinth revealed a single ancient datacore, pure and complete with the full lore of the ancients. Mighty works, fueled with the unleashed techno sorcery learned in this time of tribulation have rendered complete the old quest, and the Priests of Mars now turn their gaze to the future. Their old alliance with the Imperium holds for now, but grows more tenuous by the century.

Pretty much:

Sure the Admech have made advances, even in 40k they had some very cool gear. But handing it over to the rest of the Imperium to any real degree? When it didn't involve equipping the Space Marines, that required a lot of arm twisting.

Presumably the Emperor threatened to render them down to spare parts if they did not. No Chaos also means he can act more freely.

Nah. It just shows how much more technologically advanced the Imperium is that they can hand out this level of tech to planet even this far out in the boonies.

The AdMech probably still kept the best for themselves.

It can't just be that. The Mechanicus' natural inclination (at least in canon) is to hoard tech. If they had more tech they would just hoard a greater proportion of it, some factor internal or external had to push them into sharing.

Pressuring by all the other High Lords maybe? I mean, they just got a fully intact STC, surely they can spare some tech for the other Adeptus right? Right?

Tbh I just think that they got so much more tech that this became roughly the lasrifle equivalent of the 40k Imperium, and therefore don't really care enough to hoard it.

Pressure by the other High Lords would mean jack-all to the Admech. They are the source for all advanced technology in the Imperium along with being the only guys who know how to run it.
Send the Guard? It's the Enginseers that keep all the vehicles and anything more advanced then a lasgun working. The Navy? Admech personnel are the ones maintaining the engines, warp drives etc (you know, the stuff that enables the ship to actually get anywhere). The Space Marines? Who do you think builds all their shiny gear?

The Imperium needs the Mechanicus a lot more than the Mechanicus need them. They will hand out technology to the un-washed masses if they feel like it.

My bet would be pressure by the 'Omnesyah' himself in the form of religious revelation. No gate spewing daemons into the Imperial palace means the Golden Bastard can act much more freely

The most important things to do right now are:

• Counter Propaganda, so we don't just let the government roll over our faith base.
• Hearts and Minds, something we're hugely skilled at to further win the influence war.
• Well Armed Militia, to give some backbone to our army instead of just superheavies.

Of the leading plans, I thus prefer:

[X] Plan Hearts and Minds

I like Hearts and Mind's and would vote for it if we switch the Manpower and Dana tokens' with each other on-
Eyes on the Auxilla and
Counter Propaganda
Respectively too reduce the amount of plates spinning, even a partial failure with Eyes on the Auxilla is better than a coin flip and guaranteed failure whereas the DC for Counter Propaganda is 30 for our 20 guaranteed roll.

Dana cannot be used on Infiltration Actions like Eyes on the Auxilla. Downside of her Sincerity that makes her so good at Charity and Preaching.
