Standing our ground seems like the obvious choice. If we're going to be a major galactic power, we need to build a power base. We'll eventually have to do it anyway, so there's no point in wasting a good opportunity and running.
Weavers of Life seems like the best choice for doctrine, and for Domains...I'm very tempted to go for Sorcery. However, since we're going to need to build a power base quickly and efficiently...
[X] Weavers of Life:The Arts of the Biologis have always been the largely forgotten branch of man's sciences, but the Cult of Verdance has embraced this technique, and create wonders and terrors alike with organic materials given time and a need to work. [X] Stand: You've a ripe opportunity to take over a whole world! After all, you and your followers saved it in the first place. You're going to need to subvert the Governor's power though--and deal with the response that comes when you rise up in inevitable rebellion. But you'll have time, space, and manpower eventually provided your cult's expansion continues apace. [X] Harvest Power of Reaping and Ruin
so they are unlocked and then have a chance to show up every next time we grow like the other domains. in that case yeah i'm convinced let's go with this [X] Weavers of Life:The Arts of the Biologis have always been the largely forgotten branch of man's sciences, but the Cult of Verdance has embraced this technique, and create wonders and terrors alike with organic materials given time and a need to work. [X] Flee: You've got a ship, once you understand it, you can take it and your cult and flee from this world, to seek your fortunes elsewhere. Recruit who you can, grab what you can and just go. But try not to stick around too long, or who knows what kind of problems can crop up while you're not ready for them!

[X] Sorcery Power of Will and Word
So, the Verdant Maiden and her Rayerth-style magical girls have managed to beat literal metaphorical death and as a result we've finally gotten a new doctrine for us all to aspire to. But whatever shall we pick?
An optimistic mind?
A kind and accepting heart?
No. Both of those are important, but when you look at things objectively there's one clear thing that seperates your run of the mill Magical girls from a protagonist who has reached the heights of her power.
That's right, wings.
[X] Weavers of Life:The Arts of the Biologis have always been the largely forgotten branch of man's sciences, but the Cult of Verdance has embraced this technique, and create wonders and terrors alike with organic materials given time and a need to work.
So let's obtain mastery of life and grant each of our followers beautiful and genuine wings! They shall soar through the skies with a shining smiles and no despair shall be outside their reach! LET US PICK THIS AND GET PRETTY BIRD PEOPLE!
[X] Sorcery Power of Will and Word
And of course we need to pick this to make our followers actually magical, anything else just won't do. And yes, I vote this knowing full well that any magical girl worth their salt would want us to pick Guardian over this, but I follow the Homura school of "sometimes your girls don't know what's best for them and you have to reshape reality to make it fit". She got wings at that point too, it's the proof of power.

Dandelions throw their seeds afar but die when they do so. The beech only sows them nearby, but lives to do so multiple times.
We are no mere weed, and we will not be plucked from the ground like one! This is our home and our people, and we will not abandon them just because we are afraid of a daddy!

[X] Earth: Power of stone and soil
Those three options should synergise with each other to let us go realy crazy with biotech(and maybe warpbiotech) like Tyranids/Zerg.
Also what is VM opinion on her "siblings"? Considering their four is new generation of reformated Chaos Gods they should know that Chaos wasted lots of its power fighting itself. While also those of Chaos Undivided where ofen the most "stable" with least blind spots. Besides fact that few times Chaos Gods worked togheter in pursuit of goal nothing in Galaxy was realy capable of stoping them. So for new four its should be obvius that working togheter in good faith will let them get a hold over Galaxy and then keep it.

Doctrine - doctrine will decide how our cultists will behave. With War Maidens and Healers without Borders our cultists will act as Protectors and as Healers. Our third Doctrine will make them:
1) Genetic Engineers,
2) Optimists,
3) or Good Neighbors.
The first will be good for development but might result in SCIENCE!-related problems. The second runs contrary to the setting's entire premise and so will make us stand out, for good or ill. The final choice is probably going to limit collateral in case of Cultist weirdness.
Frankly I am picking optimism because VM is kinda like that and I want more Dana exasperated at such antics.
[X] Enlightenment of the Mind:
Stand or Flee? Let's face it, we are already in the boonies already and we still need to deal with the Imperial authorities. It isn't really going to change unless we choose to leave, and reformat our Cult for Secrecy.
Might as well rip off the bandaid.
[X] Stand:
Finally. Choice of Domain is an important one. Since we are still going to keep them as available options? I'm going to name two I like most.

Earth for fixing up our soil's quality among other things. Or Harvest for looting the ship. Guardian might also be good since we're likely about to get into conflict. Sorcery seems kind of useless when you have a population of faithful under 10k. Maybe when we hit the millions Sorcery would be worth it.
Edit: I originally had weavers of life but on second thought VM is perfectly capable of doing weaving herself or with select educated followers. For a general doctrine for everyone to follow being optimistic sounds pretty nice and is also likely to help the cult grow.
[X] Neighbors Most Kind:Look, people are like plants, they get all over the place and then don't want to go away. There's no reason you need to be a jerk about it--and hey, people are more likely to talk when they're just gossiping with their peers anyway [X] Stand: You've a ripe opportunity to take over a whole world! [X] Harvest Power of Reaping and Ruin
I like the idea of bio-engineers, but optimism in 40/50k is interesting and unique, and certainly quite divergent from Nurgle's endless despair.
[X] Stand:
Mrp, after our investment in this planet, ain't giving it up.
[X] Earth: Power of stone and soil
Tough choice. Planetary sculpting (AKA VERDANT-FORMING)? Sorcery for everyone? I'll go with the former for now, since it looks like everything will come back up anyhow.

[X] Sorcery Power of Will and Word
We really need some flexibility right now. The other domain choices either are too focused on combat alone or only enhance what we're already good at. Which is great, except that we're an extreme short range specialist in a galactic scale setting.
Magic both has use outside of combat and allows us to weave it into supporting our ranged options. Things like magically propelled slug throwers, ritual invocations, and further enhancement of biology would all be on the table. There's a reason that the chaos gods used this stuff all the time; it gave them significantly more options when dealing with any given situation, and was particularly useful on ones they couldn't deal with via their usual methods.
Making bigger monsters, or getting a flat combat upgrade, won't help much if the imperium backs off and breaks out the cyclonic torpedos after the first encounter.

You know, I was somewhat saddened first when I learned that the Azure Magus would have been an adorable chuuni dork, which made me question if the Verdant Maiden would be as fun to play as the AM.
Not anymore. Fight on VM, you cheeky little ditz. Fight on.
On the vote, I have no difficulty in picking Weavers of Life and Stand, but the Domain choice is painfully difficult between Earth and Harvest for me. On the other hand, plant mega-engineering, better crop yields and even more endurance memes with synergies between our existing Domains, which will be especially useful as it seems we will be sticking to this planet with how the vote is going.
On the hand, the Harvest Domain is so good and thematically appropriate. Will have to ponder on this some more.

The Harvest domain is all about making use of what you have, and, well, harvesting stuff. It's our equivalent to the plunder Domain in a lot of ways.
And, well, didn't we just reap the bounty of a necron starship? With the domain, we can Harvest the spoils, so it's by far the best domain for making use of the ship.
