Anyways, to try to get more votes for Daddy's Little Girl quest:
I'd like to acknowledge that a number of people have no desire to have Danny in the quest again. Which is understandable given how poorly the last interaction Taylor had with him went. However, whether or not Daddy's Little Girl quest is taken we'll likely see him. One way or another.
@Silently Watches has stated again, and again, and again, that ignoring a questline will have bad consequences. We've already taken Bone of the Father twice.
We've given the PRT a heads up on the Wolfshead group. We've scare the living shit out of the kid that may well be Theo. That fear we struck into him isn't going away anytime soon, especially with Taylor having formed Arcana and essentially declared that those whom go out of line will get exterminated. The kid should lay low for a while yet. We should be able to take the Bone quest next week. But I don't think we can afford to just have one week on Daddy's Little Girl questline. I'm hoping that the Burn the Sinners questline will be done this week or at least be able to be put off after this week (without the Simurgh branch of the Fallen, the rest of the Fallen can be taken care of by the PRT/Protectorate). So hopefully we can take Bone of the Father quest and Daddy's Little Girl quest next week as well.
Choosing Daddy's Little Girl quest to me is about trying to see if there's a way forward to give Taylor proper closure.
Ignoring the whole issue is NOT closure nor is it healthy. Either Taylor comes to full terms with having lost her father or we find a way to help heal him. Either way, we can get this issue done. Whether or not Danny is healed, Taylor's grown beyond him and won't be bound by his wishes no matter what people think will happen if Danny is healed.
So I don't believe Danny will be a cancer on this quest. I think Taylor needs to face the issue instead of ignoring it.
