Magical Girl Escalation Taylor (Worm/Nanoha)

[X] Burn the Sinners, part 3 – The Simurgh branch is dead as doornails. That can't possibly have any negative outcomes, like, at all. Right?
[X] Bone of the Father, part 3 – The view you got of the Wolfheads' cape was far too familiar to powers of the Empire for your tastes. Take the rest of the Arcana on a wolf hunt.
[X] Participate in Final Frontier as a social activity instead of a main activity.
[X] FORMALLY bring Standstill on as a liaison between the Protectorate and the Arcana

Honestly, if the Protectorate and the PRT can't handle the damned gangs and potential Empire 88 remnant without us holding their fucking hands even after all the help we've given them then what was the point of handing the PRT the ability to use magic?

I say we can let the Bones of the Father plotline wait a week and go with Daddy's Little Girl and see what the fuck is in there.

@Silently Watches wouldn't put it in as a main quest vote if it wasn't god damned important and interesting.

[X] Daddy's Little Girl – It's been a while since you last checked on your dad. It hurts to see him and know that he doesn't and probably never will recognize you, but you should probably stomach the hurt and go to his nursing home.

[X] Hang out with the Adepts. Talk about stockpiling Maclibuin's charms for the Endbringer battles and/or selling them to the Protectorate.

To garner more support for getting the Adepts on board, I have to ask. @Silently Watches, the main Blasters I see as having Breaker-level powers are Breakdown, Purity, and Legend. If they were all Boosted by Cape Boost, how many Breakers would they be worth per shot?

Maybe Daddy's Little Girl would get more votes if it was a Social Activity.
Social activities are for one-and-done events. They can fit together to form a larger whole or even a subplot (e.g., all the stuff with Standstill), but they are not planned to be connected events. That is the defining feature of main activities. Daddy's Little Girl has too many steps to be a social activity.

None of them bar maybe Legend going all out has access to Breaker-level powers. They have Buster-level powers. With Cape or Barret Boost, I'd say they'd go up to 1/3 Breaker strength per shot. 1/2 Breaker with both running concurrently.

A Breaker-level attack once it's finally seen will be a BIG FUCKING DEAL in Worm-verse. Recall that they are supposed to be one-shot city killers, which no character in the entirety of canon ever demonstrated with the sole exception of Scion himself. Not even the Endbringers went "bam, you're all gone in a flash".

[X] Explore another world. If you do not select a world where Taylor has been or already knows about, one will be selected randomly.

Select a world randomly. Select those accompanying her randomly, but weighted towards those who haven't gotten a real lot of character development yet. I'd just like to see some general exploration without crisis mode being involved.

Anyways, to try to get more votes for Daddy's Little Girl quest:

I'd like to acknowledge that a number of people have no desire to have Danny in the quest again. Which is understandable given how poorly the last interaction Taylor had with him went. However, whether or not Daddy's Little Girl quest is taken we'll likely see him. One way or another. @Silently Watches has stated again, and again, and again, that ignoring a questline will have bad consequences. We've already taken Bone of the Father twice.

We've given the PRT a heads up on the Wolfshead group. We've scare the living shit out of the kid that may well be Theo. That fear we struck into him isn't going away anytime soon, especially with Taylor having formed Arcana and essentially declared that those whom go out of line will get exterminated. The kid should lay low for a while yet. We should be able to take the Bone quest next week. But I don't think we can afford to just have one week on Daddy's Little Girl questline. I'm hoping that the Burn the Sinners questline will be done this week or at least be able to be put off after this week (without the Simurgh branch of the Fallen, the rest of the Fallen can be taken care of by the PRT/Protectorate). So hopefully we can take Bone of the Father quest and Daddy's Little Girl quest next week as well.

Choosing Daddy's Little Girl quest to me is about trying to see if there's a way forward to give Taylor proper closure.

Ignoring the whole issue is NOT closure nor is it healthy. Either Taylor comes to full terms with having lost her father or we find a way to help heal him. Either way, we can get this issue done. Whether or not Danny is healed, Taylor's grown beyond him and won't be bound by his wishes no matter what people think will happen if Danny is healed.

So I don't believe Danny will be a cancer on this quest. I think Taylor needs to face the issue instead of ignoring it.

For me, it has less to do with the how interactions went with Danny in the past, but hjow the quest works. We already have enough trouble just keeping in touch with all of the people and groups we already interact with. Like, the entire reason we had such bad relations with Danny in the past was because we just did not have the time to go socialize or work with him and his group. I don't see a point in bringing him back if we are just going to ignore him again until shit blows up once more.
