As suggestions for messing with people's guns with telekinesis, ejecting the magazine and engaging the safety are easy, effective, and hilarious.

For a higher difficulty version, twist screws to actually disassemble the gun while they're holding it. Bonus points for taking a picture of the look on their face when it falls to pieces in their hands.

This assumes the telekinetic can only manipulate the parts they can see. If they can manipulate the internals then jamming the mechanism or preventing it from triggering/cycling is fairly straightforward. Keeping a spring compressed would generally be enough.

Might need a fine manipulation modification or something, but doable.

Vote Names

The easiest of all three of them, to point I'm pulling everything left into this one vote. We get to name more things because that's gone so well thus far! FML

As a reminder for the girls' abilities and "themes"…

Missy: Summoner who chooses to get into melee and may or may not emulate Taylor's own "dark magical girl" style with a twist.
Laura: Melee fighter who dresses up like a maybe-Viking-ish knight and launches ice-based attacks from a halberd.
Kayleigh: Gunslinger who spent way too much time watching classic magical girl anime on Perfect Storm's recommendation.

Huh... interesting. I'd changed my vote back by removing the Xs in my newer vote, but it looks like it still kept those options.

Ah well, wouldn't have changed anything anyways and I got most of my options.

Most of the others are a little too...edgy? With the exception of shooting stars, which is a bit long, they sound like they could be villain names.

It is ALWAYS best to update your vote by making a new post. I have to manually re-manage everything after refreshing the tally, so if I check where the vote is ahead of time and between checking and closing the vote there are no new posts, I'm not going to waste my time going through that process again.

I just pulled some of the suggestions people had made. I left out absolutely everything that was "Calamity something or other" and stuff that came across as too grandiose.

Hmm...how about these for names?

Since Missy's strengths include going fast and summoning, Mystical Mirage seems acceptable, especially considering she might be able to get that Mirage spell Laura had as an option later. For Laura herself, Arctic Knight refers both to her new role and her Mana Conversion Affinity, and her past as a member of Winter's Hill without being blatantly obvious about it. For Kayleigh, Magical Musketeer seems fine considering she's a gun fan and a magical girl fan, while Starlight Blaster seems sufficiently mystical for her Device name.

You want to spoil a surprise so you can give Missy a name that screams "if you see this kind of animal acting weird, I'm totally nearby so get ready for a cape fight that you wouldn't have known about beforehand"? Am I reading this request right? Cause that's what it sounds like.

For Missy, I put forward the name Capella, because the star Capella is actually a pair of stars, and we have both Missy and her summons as a mini-team. Also, one of the first pets I ever had was a calico cat named Capella.

Uh...no, it seems like it makes perfect sense to have a name which is in line with 70%+ of how she fights.

Because the problem isn't advertising what she can do, but winding up with a name completely out of alignment with what she uses OR picking a completely generic, unrelated name to avoid such issues.
