I do not understand why anyone would vote for this over Burn the Sinners. Dropping Bone of the Father would make sense, but why the hell would you drop Burn the Sinners for pointless suffering time?

Worth noting, Neko isnt in competition with the story or social options. It 'wins' if it gets more than 50%. Basically its a question of her sprouting ears as a result of the mutagen (now) or demanding them herself (maybe later). Getting them later was what Silently offered (which is why it takes a build slot, for building the mutagen). But i was thinking, narratively, it works abit better to have them as a side effect of the linker core serum rather than a intentional mutation she wants for herself. So i proposed including them now as a delayed reaction and dropping a future build slot (so were not trying to game the system and get them for free). Silently agreed this was fair, but only if we get 50%+

Seriously. In the sense of *not* getting any adult advice/consent outside the three 'magicals' Legend? He'd have given her a fair hearing and advice, Lexy as well. Plus, bluntly? What she did put Tim, Dragon and Taylor in a hell of a lot of hot water, if Chevy, Miss Militia etal want to go that route. She cannot legally grant consent for non necessary procedures. Period, dot. There are ways to take Miss Militia, if there is (and I do believe so, btw) grounds to question her fitness out of the equation, but no one even thought to explore them (I take Taylor out of this, simply because she might not have known.)
I feel very strongly about this, though I didn't bring it up, what Tim did, is how doctors for good reason, go to jail. Missy by putting the onus on them, deserves a bit more punishment, and Tim and Dragon need to be at the *least* ripped a new one (Taylor Chewed on by Lexy.)

While my main point against the catgirl vote is that it's a waste of a build slot (I would've rolled my eyes if it had appeared normally but quickly moved on), this argument of divorcing Missy from the normal human form is weak when we've already had the vote to make Missy fully on board with trans-humanism. There's no one that needs to be further convinced. It wouldn't even be that bad if the focus of the argument was on enhanced hearing as another step on improving the baseline human form, but it seems to just be more for a one-off joke than anything else.

I feel it's more investment for a running gag, since Missy's reaction to hats no longer fitting right, or having a tail that can be stepped on (sat on, closed in a door, etc.) is something that can come up as much as SW wants to. It also gives her a taste of Transhumanism without going full Cyborg.
That said, we've wasted more points on more useless things before. Presumably the Build point will also pay for whatever upgrades the Ears and Tail would have gone to, which I suspect are (minor) Enhanced Hearing and (minor) Enhanced Balance and or Reflexes.

I have to admit that I'm not in favor of Missy getting more mutations, mainly because it costs us a Build Slot and if we want to give someone a Template on the next two weeks or so, we'll need all we can get.
