[x] Seek to quell and disperse the malicious spirits gathering at the Old Watch, and find what is causing the quelled spirits to rise again.

All three are a part of our job, so it's not like we're neglecting it whichever we take. With that in mind, I think the old battleground that was occupied by a now extinct noble family occupied by the dead is our best bet to find good drops. The bag off of that one barbarian necromancer made reaching green stupid easy.

[X] Investigate the migrating earth spirits. Together you can try to tease out the source of their agitation, and save the cartographers some work.

This is our job. No bonus points for going outside the scope of the mission.

Wasting time seeking glory with challenges that are beyond you will be a black mark on your record. This is not a trial hunt seeking treasures. You are here to better the land and the sect, not to seek personal power.

You know, the whole thing with the earth and hills just deciding to move made Zhengui's stealth feel that much more plausible. Why would you expect a giant turtle when it could just be a local hill spirit going for a walk?

Idly, she glanced toward the setting sun, and wondered where Liao Zhu was. She supposed it didn't matter. Which issue then, should she try to address, and which could she simply mark down and leave for the main group?

Does anyone else think we just spotted Liao Zhu here but then had our perceptions altered by a notice-me-not art? I had another moment in a earlier update with him just like this where Ling Qi out of nowhere dropped a line of thought that she had just begun, but I can't find it when I go looking for it again.

This feels like the most scouty thing, to investigate a semi-major disturbance behind the shifting of the maps. Main priority is information so the main force knows what they're walking into and they know what they should be doing when they get there.

I believe this to be the primary necessity, of the latter two, I support culling the worms before dealing with the undead. Theoretically, the worms could be a problem for the forces in the field, whereas the undead, while not a good thing, are occupying a ruin that we have not been informed of any plans to hole up in. Having the surrounding terrain clear means that, if we don't get to the fort, the main force doesn't have to worry about the worms as a complication.
