Verge is a Bear now. Most of the kids grew up. We met SlashAngemon and he's kind of a bro. Other than that, I would highly suggest reading the updates, because they've got a lot of impact.

Heh. Whoah boy that's a lot of stuff that happened... hmm. I'll try to have a decent summary ready for you by tonight.

To be more precise Verge digivolved into Gryzmon, when Sergeant Scratch had us load his Mistymon self to fuel our evolution.
Warren and Scourge digivolved into Kuwagamon and Snimon respectively, and we recommended they become gladiators.
SlashAngemon turned out to be All Might and has access to a golden burst mode, and during or after his introduction chapter fought a Noumu expy General NeoVamdemon, as well as Gloaming leader Astamon.
Also it was confirmed that Ardat is a Scion which is what Astamon is, Scions are a digimons destined or more likely to digivolve into Demon Lords digimon.
I could do a more complete summary, but it seems Drexal is already in the case, and I also don't know what chapter where we left for our second mission.
[X] Darcmon: Your leader is the physically weakest member of the group aside from Sparks. She won't last long against two champions that strong. You might not have the best way to fight at range, but perhaps by joining with Sparks...

We are. Our last remaining son made us a holster for the wand. We've nearly learned all the spells we had access to.

Oh, and we found Fu. Or... what was left of her. She didn't die all the way, she became a Bakemon.

Didn't we have confirmation that Astamon and Ardat are both called Scions, and wasn't it stated that Ardat has the potential to become The Lilithmon and Astamon implied to become Belphemon with his sloth inducing powers he displayed during or after his introduction chapter?

We don't know for sure that the title is connected specifically with becoming just Demon Lords. It could mean something else. Until we find out for sure, I'm not going to lock down the definition.

That's fair but do remember the only two shown Scions, was Ardat and Astamon both Demon Lord candidates.

Verge was also called a Scion in his dreams by the Knightmon though.
Edit: And Astamon seems to think that it's a singular title, since he's been calling himself the Scion. So there may be some different interpretations floating around.

While I doubt it's the case it's entirely possible Knight meant the actual word Scion instead of what others are using.

It could be he is calling himself the Scion of Belphemon, considering that apparently Ardat has either a Lilithmon-like personality or Lilithmon herself in her head. By word of God there are multiple worlds out there with their own Demon Lords, and I can't remember all of it, I recall Drexal saying something about a cutting, and by cutting he meant this Cutting (plant) - Wikipedia, so I presume based on what I half remember, Scions are cuttings of Demon Lord digimons, I think?

Givne how plot-important the term seems to be, I don't think he's going to do that. I just don't like to mono-focus on the Demon Lords as the sole keypoint of the word.

The other groups aside from the Legendary Warriors and the Three Great Angels don't exist yet TempestK, the Legendary Warriors are called Legendary Warriors, and Host encountered Daemon a member of Seven Demon Lords and the founder of Gloaming, given that the Scion is apparently supposed to be killed on sight by the Host, and given the two confirmed Scions presented, it's safe to assume Scions are what pre-Demon Lords digimon are called.

No, we're simply not aware of them. That's a rather critical difference.

No I meant they don't exist yet, we have confirmed Word of God that the only groups that existed are the Legendary Warriors, and the Three Great Angels.
The Seven Demon Lords isn't a thing yet because the members didn't form it yet.
The Olympos XII, Luna would be the first Dianamon if she reaches Mega.
Royal Knights same deal as the Demon Lords, the members still hasn't formed it yet.
Four Holy Beast or Digital Sovereigns, again still not a thing.
To reiterate only the LW and the Angels, are the only Mega groups that exist now, while other Mega digimon part of those groups exist, that does not mean the group itself exist.

You're misremembering, because WoG is that the only known active entities, in-quest, are the Great Angels, some of the Demon Lords, and the Legendary Warriors.
