We'll have to see about that. Pit's getting training from that MagnaAngemon, and he's a True Believer in the Host. So he may accept it as a divine will or some bullshit like that.I'm pretty sure even Pit would be taken aback from this kind of action. As killing mon unable to defend themselves would strike way to close to home for the guy I bet considering his past.
Well we better help keep him grounded then when we get the chance, as it would be really bad if our bud goes full Zealot here. Since that would really really suck if he becomes the mon everyone seems to think he will become. We'll have to see about that. Pit's getting training from that MagnaAngemon, and he's a True Believer in the Host. So he may accept it as a divine will or some bullshit like that.

Yeah, but the focus is the precedent that MagnaAngemon just set, that it's okay to kill a prisoner out of hand if it suits you and can be reasoned away. Which is Bad Juju. The bird attacked us while claiming they were surrendering, which implies that their surrender was insincere.
MagnaAngemon."He attempted surrender. I could have deleted him, but didn't. For now... let's see what MaganAngemon has to say."
Mind you, Parrotmon never intended to actually surrender, so its not something that'd drive us to quit yet, but still nothing goodBone cracks, metal crumples, and the enormous avian's head snaps back. Pain flares up from your gut and is followed by a thin trickle of rising data as your defeated foes limb is pulled free. The Ultimates stiff timbers back, finally crashing into the rocky slope.
It drew my attention upwards and used my blindspot to land a counter. Then. Ergh... was the surrender a mere distraction? Focus. You need the opinion of your officers Verge.
Indeed, the Host has gazed deeply into the Abyss"It was ours." you state, plonking over towards the lightly snoring mound of feathers. With careful positions, you lift half of the surprisingly light digimons body up and press your shoulder underneath.
"Aye. I think that is the case. But how, this occurrence cannot be common perhaps... it may be wise to keep this quiet. At least until I've managed to uncover more information."
Keeping it secret... I trust Sparks. And the Host is...
You find yourself suppressing a shiver as the memory of MagnaAngemon's gate bubbles to the surface.
MaganAngemon sounds like a variant Fallen form."He attempted surrender. I could have deleted him, but didn't. For now... let's see what MaganAngemon has to say."
Though I suppose its still strategically useful that we went for a capture, since our strongest Ultimate is patched up."Sir. I have... taken this Parrotmon prisoner."
"Indeed... And who Bellator gave you the authority needed for that decision?"
I need authority for that? Does that mean only officers can take prisoners? How does-Focus. Answer his question Verge.
"No one. He surrendered and I defeated him without permanently ending his path... Sir." The squinting angel, shrugs at your words, then ignites his energy blade with a hiss. You tense up reflexively, but the extra weight and slick ground slows your movement.
The smell of burning flesh assaults your nostrils.
Parrotmon's head falls free.
"Good job on bringing that damned bird here. You saved me the trouble of chasing another heathen down and gifted me with a way to recover." The Imperius flashes you a vicious smile as his eyes vanish behind a rapidly reforming helmet.
I ...he just. What?!
Heck, these people weren't even part of the Gloaming, and yet the Host's first action here was to chuck as many as they could though a portal to... I dunno, hell? Nonexistence? My Digimon lore is weak, but even just with the clues Verge has picked up I give it a good chance of being a far worse fate than deletion.
So the fact that our commander choose to load and heal like that means he either made a choice to steal from a underling who would get vastly more out of the load because he couldn't be assed to tap one of the angewomons to heal him or even do it himself, as the bastard has a strong natural healing ability.
....No that's just logic.
Huh, might have missed that about the state of the Angewomon. But in that case wouldn't it have made more sense for one of them to get the load to heal rather then him? As they seemed to have been in worst a state then our commander. An would then have the means to heal him right after anyway. You mean the Angewoman who we saw that one was passed out and the other is nursing a missing hand? And remember, we showed up days late to the base. We have no idea how long the fight was going on before we got there, and then MagnaAngemon immediately took his forces to this fight. It's not out of the question that he's just out of gas at this point.
He had options though, heck right off hand, he could have easily told Verge to watch over the mon until it awoke and dealt with it then. As if Verge and Sparks could have taken out the bird, there is no reason to believe they couldn't keep a eye on him too on the short term. As at least trying to pump the bird for info would have been a small cost in time and could lead to a lot of info. As Polly was a Ult and would have know at least something of note because of his power if nothing else. It's just wasteful to off him like that for a quick gain.....No that's just logic.
How are they supposed to restraint a Ultimate without proper equipment to do so? Also the fact at a moment's notice if given the chance, could inflict massive casualties upon the champions that make up most of our forces.
Yes he's being a prick about it, but that logic isn't sticky Gloaming's. It's just that, logic.
Easy? No its being safe, he is Ultimate the amount of damage he could inflict could cripple most of the mons here if not out right delete a decent chunk of the ones who aren't as bs as the rest of our squad. No, killing defenseless enemies that surrendered just because it is easy is never a good practice.
Because he can easily get answers and decide if he surrendered in good faith after a quick talk. As you act like it would take so much time to just wake the bird and do a quick Q and A with him.Easy? No its being safe, he is Ultimate the amount of damage he could inflict could cripple most of the mons here if not out right delete a decent chunk of the ones who aren't as bs as the rest of our squad.
The amount of information he could possibly have is not worth the amount of lives that can be lost if the ult decides to go for an attack.
This a is cold and harsh action, but is also the safer one. As to why should he risk his troops on the words of a mon who slaughter their allies in the asssults.
