[X] Accept the blessing of Hide

I prefer Ling Qi to be more defensive focused. While she already has some good defensive arts, I feel that we can do better, and this could certainly be the start of that. Additionally, I feel that we should have more control over our offensive arts, as those are the arts that we need to use to bypass the opponent's stacked defense. While we can stack our own defense using a variety of arts, our offensive options can't be stacked for better hitting power.

[] Accept the blessing of Hide

I admit, after what happened with the last vote I was kinda expecting Wild Hunt shenanigans. Pity about all those little mortals, but at least we can pick up some shiny loot while we're here. I'll go for the Fang over the Hide since I feel that Ling Qi could benefit more from an offensive art at the moment, but getting Hide wouldn't be too bad either.

Alternatively, we could also try this option. It'd mean losing out on the shiny new loot, but perhaps we might be able to impress the Blood Moon linked White vengeance spirit with our moral fortitude? Honestly I kinda doubt it, but from a characterization perspective I can understand and at least this option has a decent chance of success.

This, on the other hand, is pretty much guaranteed to fail. A high level spirit like this guy is basically a living nuke. Just being anywhere near him while he's fighting is going to kill any nearby mortals. The only way for him to prevent that is to significantly lower his own power, and given that he's all hopped up on vengeance juice right now I doubt he'd be willing to do that. Trying for this option is just going to make him go 'lol, no', at best.

This is particularly on point imo.

I'll be honest I just want phantasmal wolf summons.
Then we could style on Kang Zihao and be like Starrk. That'd amuse me a lot.

I will vote for Hide because I think it fits Ling Qi better, but if it's Fang vs Shen Hu, I'll switch.

Given Ling Qi is going to have a distinct lack of sanity here after this vote is over, that idea won't go anywhere.
I don't know if that's the case, but honestly Ling Qi going insane from constant exposure to high-Cultivation spirits and their gifts and tests is a direction that I would narratively really enjoy reading.

Cai- "so Ling Qi. How did your explorations go? Did you find any useful sites?"

"Well.... I took Shen hu, ended up in the dream realm of an old memory of the fall of the Weilu , and was given shinies by the echo of an ancient white spirit who also knew I was from the future and just dreaming."

".....what...."

" also yeah I did find a few cool sites, tho nothing useful to you. Sorry my liege"
