Nice to bring Xuan Shi along and have both Precious and Qi learn more of xuanwu.

For the vote, picking Meizhen's meeting since it sounds kinda official and though we apparently don't have set timings I wouldn't want our friendship to reflect badly on her by being less than punctual.

Yes, I agree picking up known arts should be a free action. My point though is about spending Sect Points. Do we have to pay twice? Can we just get art slips for nothing? This doesn't make sense in my view since we know that the art slips are really the big valuable thing here.

That's why I'm arguing that in terms of the art archive it works better if we can browse it without paying Sect Points, but have to pay Sect Points to get Jade Slips out.
 
I rather enjoyed how all this went, its good that Xuan Shi was in good humor. Even though it was clear that he was still regretful about not being provided a little brother or sister of his own.

Perhaps it has to do with his elemental alignments?

If Meizhen's meeting waited a week for us to have time, it can wait for us to visit our family, and this way whatever happens in the Meizhen meeting doesn't hang over our heads during the family visit.

i think this way is easier for us because we can decide how long we stay with Mother and Biyu but we dont know how much time we need for the Meizhen meeting

Perhaps Mother will be able to offer some useful advice on whomever Meizhen introduces Ling Qi to? But she could only do so if her visit is after rather than before.

Looks like the admirals had a talk with him about what it means when a budding young formations prodigy keeps coming back to him with basic questions.

My idea is also for the free floors, haven't thought about the other floors, though i do agree it'd be weird to pay twice and don't want that.

At least Xuan Shi appreciated Gan Guangli's bombastic straightforwardness...

I really hope that he makes it this year; dunking on Kang Zihao would probably relieve some of the pressure on Gan.

Speaking of which, I wonder if Ling Qi would be challenged this month? Kang appears to be just prejudiced enough against commoners to try, but on the other hand given his placing he could just be wary of getting burned again.

I think Meizhen might be his focus. For good or ill.

I would rather relax after having to deal with another Bai member then the other way around. I feel that this might be a little stressful. Also, it might give us some more things to talk about with mother, and while she can't really give us advice on how to deal with other cultivators, she can be a listening ear.
