While I like Gu Xiulan and want to see her again, it doesn't seem too likely that Xuan Shi will be willing to talk much about family knowledge of Xuan Wu life cycles around other people who are neither in the family nor have a pressing need for the information.

Xiulan is busy trying to hit Bronze as fast as she can, so her burnt husk of an arm isn't quite as filled with agony as it has been for the last few months. So I want to leave her to that and not waste her time helping us with a chore. Xuan Shi is an explicit target of diplomacy, and xuan wu are his wheelhouse, so this only makes sense.

This point in particular is a good one. Let's leave her to do the thing, I believe she can make it so lets not bug her ass till a little later. Like tomorrow, since it's actually only been our first day here.

Sell the mirror. If we're going to get anywhere near Renxiang in two years we need to be able to mainline 8GSS/month as much as possible. Sect missions are completely inadequate as an income source.

Trying for both is a bad idea that even the option itself pokes fun at. This is an intimate thing that Xuan Shi, who we've been asked to get closer to, would appreciate far more than Xiulan. Trying to smash them together in friendship is not something that can be done in a single action, and it will only end up wasting the potential benefits of this.

Like I am a bit worried about if Xiulan is actually in trouble or not. Last few times we assumed that our friends where fine and they where off doing stuff or safe we ended up with them getting their eye gouged out, mutilating themselves or almost killing themselves.

Would be nice if she actually sent a letter or something telling LQ she is breaking through, she did complain when LQ when into her drug fuelled things.

Well turnabout's fair play in that regard, in that Ling Qi can totally use the ammunition herself in exactly the same way.

Gotta say that I laughed a bit at LQ planning on doing her spacing out routine during the get together of CRX and CRX shutting it down by ordering her to handle all the entertainment.

Might need to go looking for Ruan Shen for some tips.

That problem is intrinsically caused by cultivation level caps though. If you say that one needs to be superhuman to reach C rank then you're saying that that's really really good.

You could, say, remove lower limits and say that actually mortals can reach C rank and reds/yellows just have it easier. However, that just postpones the issue.

Ultimately, while things like our combat skills are going to reach superhuman physics breaking levels, things like academics aren't and shouldn't need to.
