I can't draw a diagram- on mobile- but I'll describe the layout real quick.
Tokei is current in the kitchen/dining room, in front of the back door. To his left is the entrance to the living room. Mother is to the side and front of him. She's against the wall and on her feet. Behind her and to the left is another door to the living room. Next to that door is a door to the sitting room. A few feet further down on the other side is the stairs to the second floor.
You're a few feet passed the stairs. Behind you is a short hallway that leads to a small entrance room with floor to ceiling windows, the front door, and the umbrella stand with Tokei's sword.
Upstairs, it's mostly bedrooms and one sun nook. Daisuke isn't entirely sure what's in everyone else's; going in other people's rooms is rude. In Daisukes room, it's mostly bare except for some toys and books.
As far as knives go, Daisuke knows where a few are. For example, the one he's currently holding is from under the kitchen table. Hiding them is Tokeis hobby. There's one or more in every room, but Daisuke only knows where ones in the sitting room and the sun room are off the top of his head. He can find the others but it would take time.
EDIT: bathroom is upstairs too. Forgot about that.

Alright, I guess I should try to make some battle plans.
For surprise attacks
The gist of these plans is to appear as if we're fleeing, break line-of-sight, then attack with a bladed weapon from a
[X]Plan Knock-Knock
-[X]Grab the sword, run outside, and close the door
-[X]Stab him in the legs or torso as soon as he opens the door.
-[X]The pain and shock should make him kneel over slightly which should leave his head open to an assault.
-[X]As long as we keep him occupied long enough, mum should be able to get a sneak attack on his back, hopefully with a weapon
This was my original plan of attack, but I specified closing the door which gets us out of LoS and should allow us to get off a free stab especially as there's no room for him to dodge since he's coming out of one singular exit point. Afterwards, we seize the initiative and try to beat him.
[X]Plan Sun's in My Eyes!
-[X]Run upstars and grab the knife in the sun room.
-[X]Crawl out of the sun roof and go above the window
-[X]When he tries to follow, stab him, neck if he peeks out first, fingers if he tries to climb out, back if he leaps out.
-[X]If he still follows you up on the roof, then attack him with taijutsu and focus on knocking him off-balance and making him fall off the roof and onto the ground.
-[X]If he stays in the room, then lunge in, latch onto his face and start elbowing, clawing, biting; basically anything and everything to put him down.
We know there's a knife in the sun room, and that the sun roof offers an alternative way to escape. The surprise attack vector is dependent on how the sun roof's window opens, be it sideways or up.
Frontal Assault:

-[X]Remember the teachings of Gai-Sensei,"No enemy is unbeatable" and fight with all that he has taught you.
-[X]Taunt Tokei, "What's your sister going to think knowing her brother killed a child he swore to protect?! Are you going to hold her child, little baby Tokei with the bloodstained hands of a child-killer?! You call yourself a samurai, but you have no honor! You're the real disgrace!"
Yeah, this is basically the balls-to-the-wall, all-or-nothing attack with an healthy dose of trash talk. His sister is a weak point of his, so bringing her up is either going to make him hesitate or weaken his resolve or just infuriate him.
Run, Run, Run Away:
[X]Plan Loop-a-Loop
-[X]Knock Mr. Straw over to act as a small deterrent to buy you time while you run outside and close the door.
-[X]Instead of running away, jump over the fence to the backyard(I have no idea if this is a thing, and if it isn't, this plan is moot)
-[X]Hide and hope that Tokei will assume you ran off.
Also, if people are still arguing for a random ninja to save us,
"Which reminds me… where are the Shinobi? From the tales in Inkuru, one should be able to walk through Konoha without stumbling into a dozen of them."
From an earlier chapter, one of the Daimyo's escorts mentions how barren the streets are of Shinobi, so I wouldn't put my hopes in them to save us.
