[X] Accept the offer. Learning spells from him will probably be time consuming, but if they can help you gain power, then it's worth it. (Will take up one training slot per day)

He is an Ultimate, his help would be really good on improving our learning rate.

[X] Decide to try talking to the Wormmon alone later. He just went through something traumatic , so it might be better to speak to him when the pain isn't so fresh.

This would be hard to decided, but hell if Beat isn't our pal now after fighting together against AsshoTerimonmon. Hell we need to give him time to think, he was close of obtain revenge, this is what happened with Sparks before

Trying to brute force social development is a dangerous tactic you guys. I really have to strongly recommend that we give Beat a bit of space before talking to him.

[X] Decline the offer. You already have enough to do as it is, if you want new spells you can talk to Sparks about it. (Will leave Verge free to decide the rest of his schedule)

Better to focus on Strength and he other Physical stats than spells

Let him cool for a bit, having your hated foe beat you down and waking up to find out your Vendetta target may have been stolen is something one might need time to think on.

Mistymon can enchant their weapons iirc... Elemental drill attacks perhaps? :D

To be blunt, we're not a legendary warrior, we're probably not a demon king reborn, and we're probably not some other legend.

We're just a dude who has slightly higher caps than he should have, and a desire to Win.

We need every advantage we can muster to cope with the monsters that keep springing up, and self-buffs are a good way to keep up while we keep grinding away at the Evolution train, and a Mistymon is an exceptionally good teacher, even putting aside him being a named, heroic one.

EDIT: To elaborate, he's literally a magic warrior, a swordsman who supplements his fighting skills with the arcane. Which is precisely the angle we should be using for magic--which Verge has a decent affinity to. He wasn't giving us the time of day before this because he thought we were a dead-end, but we proved him wrong by surviving the crucible, and we've now exceeded the normal hard caps for a Rookie in at least one field, and otherwise have generally superior stats across the board. While Verge is still a Rookie in a party of Champions, he's no longer someone who can be considered a burden, because his general traits across the board are such that he can't be discounted except by super combattants that could paste most of our party anyway.

[X] Try going over there to speak to Beat with Sparks. Perhaps the two of you can truly befriend him? Not like how that infuriating bug used the word, but actual friends.

Remember, the training does also include us being taught how to use our drill and claws more effectively.

If we do end up using a slot to learn this new kind of magic, I still hope we can heavily focus on sparring and Strength training with what we have left. There's no need to train Fortitude directly even though it's very close to a talent-up. 2-3 spars will be enough to make it hit the threshold, and I want to get combat skills to go up whenever possible. And I'm hoping to get strength to at least E+ before evolving.
