Well I believe Verge deserves a reward for being such a badass when it counted when literally EVERYONE in the thread thought he was screwed. Sssooo...
Congratulations Verge!
Note: Spicy taco Tuesday.

Aye, and it's even more true for Verge. His Wrath currently comes out at his more desperate moments.
Well, I'm going to say something here. The color for text is important. I plan to use it sparingly and only for a select number of digimon. Also any Idea on who's talking to us?
I'm betting we're getting a flashback from our old lives.
Or it could be a memory of when we were Flamemon's Ward.
I hope the surprise was a good one!
Yeah at this point Verge is going to be a bit more freaked out about it. Once instance was something he could kind of run away from, but now? Well he's scared but will want to talk to someone about it. Not as soon as he wakes up mind you, but soon.TLDR we're going to see Verge acknowledging his rage next time and weither or not it's a good thing. As it has saved him but it should also scare him more then usual especially if he deletes his opponent here.
Heh, completely 100% true. But now Verge is potentially at a place where he CAN fight thanks to a couple decisions and sparring with Flamemon.First I doubt we are in a state of mind to even begin thinking about things like that. Two funny enough we never technically "Fought" anyone before. Flamemon was training, We Flailed against the golbimon, and this was just the out burst of a cornered digimon.
Hehe, well technically he does know one, though that's thanks to Gramps. There'll actually be three potential religions in quest, though one will unfortunately be blocked off thanks to certain circumstances. Also just realized Verge doesn't know any pantheons meaning he can't say the equivalent of "Dear (insert deity here)".
Kek, ah good memories. Anyway, I'm glad to have you aboard man! I hope you like Verge's journey from cowardly rookie to something more.Cowardly Drimogemon Quest? Hell yeah!
Verge also kinda reminds me of Courage the Cowardly Dog.
Awesome job man! I can't believe this quest has Fanart now! I'll be threadmarking that. Then I'll have to think up a few potential reward options for it. Red eyes were a nice tough BTW.Well I believe Verge deserves a reward for being such a badass when it counted when literally EVERYONE in the thread thought he was screwed. Sssooo...

Speaking of what's your stance on Omakes? Before replying I just want to say two things.
Now time to get to the replies.
- I am very sorry about not getting the rest of the update out last night like I was supposed to. No real excuse beyond being tired.
- The recent good natured chat, interested speculation etc....well it's made this quest 100% worth it to me. As it's helped capture one of my side goals beyond the personal passion aspect.

They are welcome and generously worth a stat point or two. Particularly good ones can earn more.

The village isn't actually all that big. There's a few small huts (4) a large tree in the center with a single storage hut on the opposite side of the huts. There's also enough room for a couple very small fields. Plus a fire pit which now has Sorcerymon and his shop nearby.Question, how big is the little village they are in? How many rookies, in training, eggs etc?
All weve seen is elecmon whose a grandpa but still a rookie?
Flamemon, us, fu, gnaw and armidillamon. Oh and lunamon and the new fire baby.

This is all surrounded by a fairly tall wooden wall. Overall not the biggest as far as civilization goes, but it's a nice size.
Rookies? There are 7. Fu, Gnaw, Flamemon, Verge, Auger, Gramps. Lunamon is the latest one to evolve.
Currently only 1 In-Training at the moment and that is the Demi-Meramon. Who oddly enough hatched right from an egg ignore the baby stage entirely.
There are several eggs developing on the tree at the moment. But none of them are full size yet.

It's pretty simple really. This has been a relatively low threat portion of the digital world. Low population without many easy to grab resources. For the most part, digimon move on from the area after becoming champions with Gramps being able to fend off anything that's target the village so far. This is a very small village, was it always this small or did something recently cause it to become such a small size? The fact that gramps is only a few years old might also mean something, especially since we haven't seen any champion level digimon that would often be seen guarding areas like this.
Okay.Damn..I had ideas but with the village only consisting of the named cast I am somewhat limited... less a village and more of a rowdy gang of rookies banding together for safety.
I'l message you with some ideas I have later. For approval before I write anything

And I'll point out that going for balanced stats or high Agility really isn't going to help Verge that much here. For his build and attacks he's really not the best suited for it. Plus his Agility is still his worst talent, in terms of immediate power growth to be better at combat he has stats that could really use it more.Okay the reason why we should train agility is because due to my art the training result for agility is now 1.25 instead of just 1.
Well yeah, but you forgot two things my friend. And I'll point out that going for balanced stats or high Agility really isn't going to help Verge that much here. I didn't forget. Rather I'm ashamed to say I got overzealous and let my inner stat planner out. Bleh, as the GM I'm Supposed to be 100% impartial to this. I should not have spoken out as I did.Well yeah, but you forgot two things my friend.
A. I'm gunning for the stats to fit for Monochromon
B. Trying to raise agility for the Drill Bull maneuver.
Yes I know champion is wwaaayyy off.
Eh fair enough reasoning. Sorry if I came off as bit controlish. Also I don't think it's actually a possibility for a single voter to has that much influence in a quest.
