[X] You prefer to get a nice mixed dish with equal amounts of every ingredient. Gramps told you before that balance is important. (Small bonus to all stats)
[X] You decide that it would be best to eat and then exercise before going to bed. It's a habit that you've been wanting to pick up in order to become stronger. While one session might not have much effect you really hope that it will pay off in the long run! (Diligence)

[X] You decide to circumvent Gramps' order somewhat. He never said that you couldn't bring Flamemon chow! So you'll grab a bowl of stew and make sure Flamemon gets something to eat tonight. He's your friend after all, and more importantly he saved you from being deleted twice (Devotion)
I think that's being a bit presumptuous here, though I am curious if you have any examples of that kind of thing.
But from the way I'm handling things you need to getevery stat to a certain minimum threshold before you can evolve. Unless you're aiming for Numemon that is, but I think we can safely assume that's not true.

Anyway, vote ends tomorrow, but I'll do a count now just to see where things are at. I'm pretty sure devotion is pretty much confirmed to win.

Ummmm there's quite a few digivolutions that require lopsided stats, the only one that really needs balanced stats is Dynasmon (Drexal will correct me if I'm wrong here).
Well for Numemon specifically, It's not a problem of stats being lopsided but rather a mixture of two things.
Not having the minimum requirements in your lowest stats (Like 10 when you need 40) You don't actually need balanced stats you just can't have it be abysmally low
Not getting the right stats in line to evolve to a the available choices. Like if Fu or Gnaw only trained agility and endurance to the exclusion of all else.

There's actually a LOT more forms like that really, though Royal knights are not the best example. All of their stats are bullshit high, just some can be A LOT higher than others.

Anyway I'm going to be working on a lore entry for Equipment. Natural, artificial, etc.
Edit: 9 votes so far. Woot! I'm glad we could get to page 4.
Not getting the right stats in line to evolve to a the available choices. Like if Fu or Gnaw only trained agility and endurance to the exclusion of all else.
While I talked about this a bit in a different threadmark I'd like to expand on the subject a bit here.
===
Equipment: I simply the extraneous items or features most if not all digimon have on, or in some cases actually within their body. These factor heavily into fights, and at times having the right equipment whether it be through luck or preparation can mean winning a battle against a foe with superior stats. A ground based digimon without ranged attacks for instance can do little as a flying digimon simply stays out of range and attacks with impunity.
Most of the time they're purely meant for combat, like a knightmons swords. though there are a number of exceptions such as say...a Drimogemons drill nose and claws. Every species equipment is different, for example a Garurumons claws are much better for causing lacerations than say the blades of a Gladimon, though in turn a Gladimon would be far better able to deliver pericing damage.
In many other cases equipment can augment stats to be higher than otherwise. The most common example for this is armor, though there are other exceptions.
Now, the wide variety of features fall into two main categories, Natural and Artificial.
The "Natural Equipment" refers to a wide range of a digimon can posses be it normal cyborg implants such as MetalGreymons metal claw and missiles, or a Knightmon suit of armor. Even simple claws and fangs count as part of this category. With special preparation and the right methods it is possible to stop certain peices of natural equipment from deteriorating back into datat at the owners death.
"Artificial Equipment" meanwhile refers to weapons, armor or others items that are created outside the process of evolution. They're expensive to obtain (especially higher quality ones) and unlike natural equipment don't repair themselves automatically as the mon wielding them recovers. Unlike natural weapons, they don't vanish when the wielder is deleted but rather stay where they're dropped until picked up again.
The line between the two categories can be blurred at times, as natural weapons can theoretically be augmented or changed via artificial means. Though this is understandably rare as digimon able to provide such modifications are few and far between.
As a last tidbit, it is at least technically possible to digivovle using certain peices of preserved natural equipment though it is almost unheard of as the mon in question must be similar enough to the equipments own code.

Reason being, hindsight better having an 'overall' boost to all stats, so we can short term grind our stamina up, before grinding the other stats without too much of a hassle/issue. That, and also so we can if lazy, gain stats other than the biast stats of Strength later, if will be.
That, and Devotion I think, just means we'd be in general, focused/caring on the friends we do have, which can easily stack or be complimented with Wrath.
[X] You prefer to get a nice mixed dish with equal amounts of every ingredient. Gramps told you before that balance is important. (Small bonus to all stats)

I'm going to try adding some music into the quest. Should have done it earlier, but I couldn't think of good examples. If anyone has any good tracks to fit certain scenes feel free to let me know!

After the arduous afternoon/evening and very recent brushes with death, you decide to take it slow on your walk across the village. With everything that's happened, a nice, simple, calming walk is exactly what you need. This also serves a separate purpose of giving enough time both Fu and Gnaw, so they can to eat their fill and head back to their shared hut before you've even reached the pot. Not that you hate them, it's just that you don't particularly want to have to deal with any more of their antics.
I-I just want to h-have a quiet n-night.
Upon reaching the large black cauldron (along with the stack of bowls and spoons beside it) you're forced to balance up on your hind legs in order to actually be tall enough to reach into it and grab the large ladle with your front paws. Actually grabbing a scoup of food from the small amount of stew left proves difficult, especially as your nose keeps getting the way but after a couple minutes you finally manage to deposit some into a bowl. Gramps advice about making sure to get a balance of all the ingredients flutters into your mind, so you make sure that the contents include plenty of meat from the arm and vegetables gathered from the surrounding woods.
You decide to forgo a spoon entirely, as those are difficult to grasp considering your drill claws. Instead you just lift the wooden bow up, and tip it pouring the contents directly into your maw. It takes a second bow to fully satiate your hunger and while you consider taking the very last portion of stew something stops you.
Fl-flamemon wasn't a-able to g-get anything to eat t-tonight. I k-know Gramps d-didn't want him too b-but....
The fiery rookie, the mon you considered a good friend had saved your life twice today. Him going hungry because of Gramps just doesn't sit right with you.
A-and Gramps n-never said I couldn't b-bring him food.
With that in mind you spend another few minutes filling up your bowl one last time, and then after placing it on one paw carefully begin to walk towards Flamemons hut. The wooden shanty at the very end of the row is easy to find, especially considering you'd been living there just a few days prior. Thankfully Gramps is so busy gazing into the night sky that he doesn't seem to spot you entering the small building where Flamemon resides.
Upon entering the uncovered doorframe, you quickly manage to spot flamemon on his side atop a small mat at the back of the hut. He quickly rolls to face you, and the very moment he spots the bowl in your paw his face lights up
"Haha! Awesome work Verge!"
Before you can let out a reply the rookie moves, suddenly springing up and snatching the food from your paw. He wastes little time in starting to scoop up bits and pieces of the meal in his left hand before shoving them unceremoniously into his mouth.
"Mhm" He utters between bites. "Thanks."
"Y-you're w-welcome" You reply with a small smile. Surprisingly, something begins rising up in your chest but it's not anger this time. Rather the feeling is...pleasntly warm.
He finises the meal in seconds, devouring it ruthlessly and even licking the bow clean. Then once Flamemon is done the rookie casually tosses the dish aside, letting it clatter down on the dirt floor of the shelter. Finally he sticks his dirty hand in his mouth, and then uses the other to give you a fiery thumbs up. Something about the strange sight makes you want to let out a laugh, while you'd have tried to hold it back if this was Gnaw or Fu, you feel comfortable enough to let out the chuckle in front of Flamemon.
"Ohehe"
Flamemon joins in once he's finished "cleaning up" letting his own deep laugh join in with your chuckles. It dies off after a few seconds before you let out a tired yawn. The taller rookie follows suite, before shaking his head"
"Goodnight Verge" He mutters, slowly slumping back down on the mat. "I'll...kick butt with you.... Haaah. Tommorrow"
Y-eah. Of course.
With that you leave the now snoring mon to his slumber and then slink out of his home. You have your own shelter after all and as much as you might like the idea of sleeping in the same space as him, there's another digimon that you have to be there for. So with a nervous swallow, you walk past the two other shelters containing Gnaw, Fu & Auger and make your way to the fourth building down. Your own 'home' so to speak.
H-hopefully she's asleep.
You take a deep breathe, try (and fail) to calm your nerves, and then walk inside.
"Oni-Chan! Oni-Chan! Yay oni-chans back!"
O-ony ch-chan? Wh-what?!
You can't help but let out a blink in confusion as the In-Training digimon bounces closer and snuggles into white fur coating your under-side. Naturally your first instinct in this situation is to retreat backwards at full speed, but for once you manage to actually push the feeling back. So much as you feel uncomfortable around the young digimon, she's not actually scary. Because of that what actually happens is that she spends the next minute trying to get deeper into your fur, while you struggle over what to do next. The digimons words towards you are certainly strange, so you try to resolve yourself to asking her about it after getting situated bed.
Th-then again.....w-would she even know? M-maybe G-gramps taught it to her?
"Mmm. Warm"
Finally you let out a sigh and lower your head. With a slightly shaking paw, you scoop the little digimon up and begin carrying her deeper inside the small building. Much like Flamemon's own shelter it's mostly plain except for the large soft mat at the very end which serves as a bed. Or rather that's how it's supposed to be. You do a doubletake upon discovering that there's a small box-thing resting in front of your sleeping area. In the time you've been gone something new had come into your hut. Immediately you take a several steps back, eyeing the thing warily.
"Wha-what i-Is that?"
"Ooh! Ooh! I tell Oni-Chan" Moonmon Shouts, bouncing up and down in your hand. "Talky-see thing box! Found it outside! is teevee!" You openyour mouth to ask about it, then look at the digimon fitting in the palm of your hand. There was no way could have brought it on by herself. Which meant....
G-gramps must have m-moved it i-in.
Upon realizing that, your tense body sags in relief. There's no way the leader of your village would bring something dangerous around Moonmon.
"Can we watch!?" The In-training mon questions excitedly. "Want to spend more time with on-chan!....pleeeeeease." Her words strike something in your chest and for some reason you find yourself actually considering it. Deciding to grant her request takes a few seconds but in the end you decide:
Choose One:
[] To spend some time watching the "Teevee" with Moonmon before you go to sleep. (Kindness)
[] To refuse her please, and just get you both to bed. You don't want to be tired tomorrow. (Restraint)

Later that night you find yourself struggling to actually get some shut-eye. The thoughts of what happened today rest heavily in your mind. The cave-in, that flying monster which had tried to delete you, the overpowering feeling which had come out towards gnaw.....You let out a barely shudder felt shudder. Then, just as you consider getting up to do some calming digging, something heavy falls on your eyelids. Unparalleled exhaustion, the urge to simply go to simply fall sleep overwhelm your frightened, nervous thoughts. Everything just falls away, leaving you at complete peace.
A grey, blurry figure pops into existence within the hut appearing just as your eyes finally start closing. There's not worries, no fear, no terror. Just peace as you drift off into sleep.

Okay. The Character sheet has been updated. If anyone wants to look, Verge now has "Equipment" an "inventory", and his stats have been updated. Also, all traits so far chosen have been added.
As for the latest vote, I really suggest thinking on what the two options mean.
The Kind trait, or the Restrained trait. It actually means a LOT for how the PC will act.
This is the last trait Vote BTW. Once the vote is closed I'll group them togethor and explain what they all mean for the character when stacked in conjunction with each other.

The quest has been going well so far! Sure the story posts are expanding a bit more than I thought, but things are getting off to a great start! My current goal of 1 page per update is coming along nicely, and the number of votes is far from the low number I ultimately feared. Still hoping to expand some more of course, but I'm thankful to have what's here now.
