The heck are you talking about?
Zoat has a bunch of self-professed grammatical idiosyncrasies, including the two dots versus three dots argument. As described in the FAQ:
I also have... Let us call them 'grammatical idiosyncrasies'. These are not errors but intentional deviations from the norms of written English. For example, I use '..' to indicate a short unplanned pause in speech, while '...' indicates that speech trails off and stops.
The two dot usage is on purpose.

"But with the demands on his time, governing his own city, being a member of the Justice League… He doesn't have time to pursue it as aggressively as he would like. Venturia has dominion over the Greater Azores. You are.. well placed to take a lead on the matter yourself, in his stead. Without reference to the senate. If you're interested, I could put you in touch with.. certain people..?"

so i'm a bit slow at politics, how does this help her? Does she hope to gain enough political capital to appoint a successor of her own choice or something?

Queen Clea would by bypassing a Senate that's opposing King Orin's agenda in order to pursue said agenda. Since Queen Clea's domain would be the sole beneficiary, the Senate would either need to acquiesce to King Orin so that Poseidonis can keep up or make an unpopular and reckless power play to curb her influence that would provoke stiff response in Queen Clea's favor from the other royals, potentially including King Orin. The latter is only plausible if the Senate is actively opposed to surface contact, though.

Honestly, this is kinda the thing I wish that Renegade Shepard did, instead of just punching people for their disingenuous assertions, being racist, and committing genocide.

He's channeling his omnidisciplinary genius through a pointy stick launcher. He's somewhat productive.

You know, I find it funny when people say things like that.

After all, "a pointy stick launcher" is good enough for one of Darkseid's female furies.

Plus, in DC one million, Ollie's kids started a dynasty of warrior monks that lasts at least to the 853rd century- mankind has expanded to every planet in the solar system, except for Jupiter which they turned into a second sun, people are connected by a telepathic internet, and powers as programs was taken to its logical conclusion with superpowers being things you download off said telepathic internet, and there are more green arrows than ever.

right, but how does forcing the senate to trying to move forward help clea? Is she just trying to score favor points so she can appoint a successor of her choosing? sorry if this is really obvious, like I said i'm bad at politics.

wait, why are they discussing Prince Orm? i thought Renegade killed him and Paragon's King Orin killed him there

In this situation she has two options.

Firstly, act against Orin. Reduce the power and prestige of the Poseidonis throne to the point where has has to accept her choice.

Secondly, make friends with him. Act in a way he would approve of and so make him more inclined not to intervene in her choice.

The Renegade paragoned it, and so suggested a way for her to improve relations in a way she can do but no one else can or will. Better still, this is a) a personal concern of King Orin and not a concern for most of Poseidonis and b) she's involving herself in an area that was traditionally the domain of the High King.

He did. But he was in position for years, and there was a suggestion that she may have had dealings with him.

I guess he's not moving the city to a moon of Jupiter via boom tube....
"It's a pool of water underwater." I shake my head and turn back to it. "I realise that to you it's just food storage, but I find the incongruity appealing."

She turns to follow my gaze, perhaps trying to see it from alien eyes. "This is more for decoration than farming. Creating barriers with water on both sides is far easier than making it free floating."
Hmmmm...

I recall reading articles in "Popular Science" about the possibility of using modified water storage tanks as an alternative to traditional radiation shielding as well as serving as heat sinks.

For technologically uplifting all of Earth (not just mankind), Grayven could consider the industrial applications of water-inside-water barriers with regards to NASA's "mundane" spaceflight in addition to disseminating extraterrestrial tech, enhancing the performance of conventional spacecraft mankind already has access to.

It's like the parable about "teach a man to fish, feed him for life". Even if Grayven tried to disseminate as much alien tech as possible to everyone, the majority of the world doesn't have the resources and knowledge needed to build, maintain, and use such advanced equipment.

But making conventional space travel easier and more affordable would kick-start commercial spaceflight: asteroid mining, exploration, outposts on the Moon or Mars, their own early warning system so they aren't dependant on the Justice League telling them about alien invasions, etc.

Also, Atlantean sorcerers must've perfected means to filter oxygen and carbon dioxide from water as well as remove pollutants, so it'd be ironic if a "reverse submarine" was more cost efficient and commercially viable than NASA's "mundane" spacecraft.

Who is a superhuman New God. A normal if skilled human is a different proposition than someone whom bullets bounce of, has superhuman pull strength, and/or can perform divine arrow feats. He doesn't sneer at Celestial Archer and his pointy stick launcher.

Of course not. When your pointy stick launcher can fire a dozen arrows into widely dispersed targets in a single release, and when those pointy sticks can teleport themselves past pesky things like 'walls' and 'armor', they become strictly better than a gun.

Grayven is totally the sort of guy who would discard his 'epic legendary sword of adamantine destruction' for a balloon sword, provided that the balloon sword provided a slightly better stat boost/damage output.

He doesn't have any about capitalization, nor does he have any about not putting a space after the ellipsis.
He capitalizes all species names.

In the Revelation Space series, which I've been reading off and on for a bit, their starships use large quantities of ice as shielding for when they approach the speed of light.

Don't forget that Paragon-OL managed to get Leonard Snart (Captain Cold) to share his research notes with the academic community.

Depending on if Belle Reve has a prison library, I can picture OL donating science fiction novels where cryogenics or coolant technology play a major role as a passive-aggressive attempt to motivate or inspire Snart.
