From Thread 11 :

Here:

Death happens at around twenty four hours due to the way that the slave-ring (what the Qwardians actually call them) overclocks part of the users brain, causing a fatal haemorrhage. The last hour isn't exactly fun either. Since the overclocking effect is always 'on', using the ring less doesn't help. That version of me began frantically trying to track down forms of enhanced regeneration in the hope that one of them would stave it off. The first episode ends with him dying in Nyssa Raatko's living room.

And here:

Suicide. Nyssa suggests a carbon monoxide inhaler after she sees how painful the last hour is. I mean, he knows he's going to die and resurrect anyway, so why go out the hard way? He also has to scout out new Lazarus Pit locations for her and eliminate the rest of the Society of Shadows. He also has to train for fighting Greenies, both because the ring insists and because he has no other way to charge. Beyond that I haven't really thought about it.

I did read the story, I don't know most of what happened.
All I know is that RenePaul put the pieces of the Anti-Life Equation in the wall and managed to say his actual name before passing out.
The Source Wall contains a thing called the Source. The Source is -basically- one of DC's versions of the Judaeo Christian God. The Wall itself is studied with the inert forms of the Titans who tried to breach it and failed. The Wall serves as a nearly inescapable prison for such beings, though not completely inescapable.

The Renegade was getting drawn towards it for reasons which he didn't understand and was struggling to break the connection. The more afraid he became, the stronger the connection got due to him using a yellow ring. As established near the beginning of the story, my Inserts can't think or say my name. If they do, they black out. The Renegade used this to his advantage in something of a desperation move, assuming that if he was unconscious the ring would shut down everything but the environmental shield as it normally does. He was correct, and Barda picked him up before he regained consciousness.

Partly as a side effect of his Anti-Life exposure, a lot of the memories Father Box created for him were dramatically weakened or expunged.

Do you understand now?

If you think about it, that makes the Anti-Green wearer eve\n more of a sad case. He knows he isn't one of the nearly brainless clones that were supposed to wear the ring, but on the other hand, he doesn't have a name!

"Master, what do you know of game theory?"

It is not for the slave-animal to question the knowledge of the Master.

"I do not question your primacy, Master, I merely wish to present an argument."

Explain

"Master, we find ourselves on a world covered in powerful Green Lanterns. In this little game of ours, we may choose-"

I may choose. The slave-animal may not make choices.

"Please pardon my slip-up. The Master may choose to either cooperate or defect with the Green Lanterns. I understand from the information I knew of this world when I came here that the Master is ordered to collect information on the Green Lanterns in order to destroy them. Defection is the Master's default state. What if there was another way?"

Explain.

"Our enemies surround us, but they are fools with delusions of mercy. What if Master chose to cooperate with them? Not only would this give Master more time to collect information to hand over to the Qwardians, it would also allow this feeble vessel to ingratiate himself with them, gaining their trust and allowing for more accurate collection of personal data. Master's recharge protocol doesn't have to be lethal, merely uncomfortable, so it may be possible with the correct manipulations to convince them to let us drain them willingly. This reduces the likelihood that the Master is destroyed, and further extends the lifespan of this experiment."

What the slave-animal suggests is a perversion of the Master's goals. Prepare for punishment.

"No! Wait! Surely Master has self-preservation as part of his terminal goals! If defection is the only allowable strategy, it will inevitably lead to Master's destruction! Master's might is great, but the might of the heroes of this world is greater still! My foreknowledge tells me this in no uncertain terms! We will eventually lose, and the experiment will end. The strategy I present has a chance of allowing the experiment to continue indefinitely. Surely that has greater utility than squabbling with these ultimately unimportant Lanterns for unimportant reasons!"

Hmm. This strategy is...intriguing. I will consider it.

For all that the new 52 continuity shit all over literally everything that had come before, I did enjoy the bit where Black Hand used his black lantern zombie making powers to wake up a bunch of Source Titans to go fight Allfather.

Lanterns Stewart, Rayner, and Jordan stood before me, scowling. I tried my best to look contrite.

"You got a lot of nerve showing your face again after what you did. Do you have any idea how much that hurt?" Stewart asked.

"I do, actually. And I am very sorry. My ri-Master" -I waved my hand, showing the distorted sigil- "was made by some really bad people. I must do as Master says, or he tortures me."

The assembled Lanterns collectively looked shocked.

"Don't try to remove Master. I would be forced to fight you again, and I don't want to do that. However, I've come to a certain understanding with him, that working with you is better for his goal of studying the Green Lantern Corps than opposing you would be."

Don't oversell your influence, slave-animal. I am still in control here.

I flinched internally, but continued.

"I can offer you some things that your rings cannot do. I know about the limitations the Guardians have put on your rings."

"So what can you do?" Jordan asked.

"Crowd control. Your rings cannot affect the brains of sentients. My Master can create constructs to calm a mob and disperse them peacefully. Or to halt a running criminal in his tracks, or paralyze a supervillain so they can be safely taken down."

"I suppose..." Jordan answered.

"I also know that you cannot kill." I continued. "My master...can. If a threat arises which cannot be contained, I don't have to hold back for fear of destroying it."

They all looked unsettled at that, but couldn't deny that their rings' limitations sometimes prevented them from truly fighting for the good.

After a pause, Stewart asked "How will you recharge? I sure as hell am not letting you feed on me like that again, no matter your good intentions."

"That's why I invited all three of you. Master can create brain-affecting constructs. Turning off your ability to feel pain while he recharges is simple."

Your mercy is disgusting, slave-animal. Punishment begins in three seconds.

Whoever said that was all the construct had to do, Master? You could get a full brain scan every time you recharge, without even fighting for it.

...Continue.

"I want to try this now, with your permission. Master will drain one of you, with the other two in reserve as a measure of trust. If anything bad happens, you may stop me."

This is now canon.

I don't know why but I'm getting a very Smegol vibe off of that.

Technically, he has a way to knock himself out if he wants to, so there's that at least.
Yeah, he needs to confront a Green Lantern or three, monologue about the greatness of the Weaponers of Quard and his master, the ring he wears, and then think his name, which automatically renders him unconscious. Hard to punish him when he is insensate.

Except for the part where even doing the necessary brainstorming to come up with that plan gets him punished. Anti-Green Ring is the ultimate slavemaster, and the cruelest. Even Yeerks permit you to have your own thoughts (even if it's just because they can't stop you).

Where's parts one and two o_o
The same place as the first 20 parts of Sororicide. We're only getting glimpses into these alt Pauls. The next chapter is Mayday part Twenty three. Followed by parts 1 and 7 of 'Bereave', 3 parts of Grayven, Defector pt5, Suicide Squad pt0, and then part 4 of Fool's Canon.

One of the upcoming glimpses is supposed to be Power Ring Blue from the Crime Syndicate Universe.

Not sure what was up with the Lasurus Pit comments, but presumably the Anti-ring can't fight without a bearer and we've seen power-rings being destroyed on panel before.
As I understand it, the Ring is a very sore loser, it'd rather disintegrate it's wearer rather than allow him to gain freedom.

You don't have the authority to declare it canon. You can declare it head-canon, but only Mr Zoat can canonize omakes for this story.

I wonder if there is a Paul/OP who has a Teal Ring of Joy, like the one Vanilla the SI of Whiteeyes has in "I want to see you smile"? How would that Paul deal with needing to be happy and induce glee? Which universe would he fall into to do this?

Is this everything we have on Anti-Green Paul? For some reason I seem to remember there being an actual in-character snippet or omake back in the day. It's all a long time ago though so if anyone's sure I'm wrong please tell me.

This is going to be the first time where I'm skipping a chapter and it's daily updates for the simple fact that I can't wrap my head around the chapters and the contents going on inside of it. I'm not saying the episode or chapter is good or bad, I simply don't understand it's context. This confusion though I must say is doing wonders to break my addiction.

What's happening is that Zoat is picking up and expanding all kinds of snippets of alternate Pauls with alternate rings that he has mentioned back when this story was still relatively new. I am assuming though that he'll only use the ones that actually have different rings even though there were two more orange lanterns, one in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and one in the Worm-verse.
