That... was kind of a worthless update? I mean there's more than enough slice of life chapters as is without having a Grayven one where he interacts with people we don't give two shits about. And the humor was only effective in a rather childish sense with the bland sex jokes, come on I'm sure you can do better than alluding to tentacle porn and 'oh you Japan'. The rest of the 'humor' was in the inconsequential awkwardness, too bad that's usually only effective when done between characters we care about (even for those who'd care to see Grayven in an awkward situation I can't image them caring about the random japanese woman).
So yeah overall this update was one of the worst, I'd put it above the first draft of the video game chapter and that one was the worst.

Even if that's the case this update still wouldn't have much of a point to its existence. Cause mentionning he met her when she tried to pay him with her body while he was browsing a shop for big clothes wouldn't exactly be much of a loss (as in not at all).

Actually yes, it came up a long time ago. A Japanese superheroine heard rumors about some kind of demon sex cult, investigated and was apparently more weirded out by finding out what was really happening than if it had been an actual demonic sex cult.

I personally liked the update. Won't say it was fantastic or one of the best or anything, but it was funny and enjoyable. I might have preferred more alt-Pauls before going back to Gravy, but it's not my story, and it's hardly a tragedy that I got a chapter of a story I didn't pay for that isn't precisely what I wanted.
