No canon has been established for a Green Lantern yet, but I suspect it's hard to find a universe that lacks Bobbleheads
Haven't read the actual comic, but don't they step down (or are removed, or something, idk) after they fuck something up big time (again :p ) at some point. Saw a pic where Mogo adresses Jordan as Corps leader.
He can put Paul there.

Why wait until the third date to have sex with someone you're attracted to when you can be arrested, enslaved, or killed before the first?
They've known each other for less than two hours. Maybe less than an hour if we just go by time stamps. I'll be the first to loudly proclaim myself a slut who would probably be the universe's bicycle in a comic book. But I don't think she even knows his /name/.

Before the Nu52 Blackfire Started the Rand Thangar War. After she had Higher up on both side agree to work with her.

Everything Blackfire does is for the Quickest way to Help Blackfire Personal.

Tamaranians living in the emotional 'now' is very much canon, both to the comcis and Teen Titans.

i'd say its the same in the New 52 and duck/cover but tbh... i hated that part as much as everyone else. (Red hood and the outlaws: its why i can sympathise with the hate)

why is it that my favorite robins are the problem child and Biological son? To be more clear I'm talking about Jason and Damian also when I say Jason I mean after he stopped dying and became red hood. Unfortunately if I had to guess the child Raul killed was likely Damian, which while disappointing wouldn't actually surprise me.

There's a link in the red text, the kid was a psychotic Nazi.

Also, judging by your location, I'd suspect that you like Red Hood and Damien best because you're a poisonous nut.[/Buckeyejoke]

Yeah, but I thought Tamaraneans being sex-addicted was something they added to the New 52 to please the virginal 13-year-old boys.
Meh...

Pre-Nu52 Tamaraneans were more of a reflection of the Hippy Free-Love movement. Then didn't have the kind of social hangups that humans do about sex; if they liked someone then sex was just another way of expressing that like.

IT was post-Nu52 that gave us the scene where Starfire was like "I don't like you. I'm board. You have a penis. Let's fuck.".

Fortunately, DC is actually finishing up a Starfire series that is basically repairing the damage done in that Red Hood and the Outlaws book and giving her an outlook which is more like the "old her".

Well, I don't know enough about you to comment much on that, but there isn't anything wrong with picking up a hooker if you've got the cash available.
Could we.. just not go into that?
Star Sapphire is Ame-Comi and Indigo is The Boys. No canon has been established for a Green Lantern yet
As much as I liked these last two segments, I'm ready to move onto other perspectives. Specifically I'd like to see how Indigo is doing, and where OL ended up.

That's the thing - it could very well have been exactly that, Taking. Irrelevant of their desires. Mind body and soul, with Assimilation right there.

Better a pussy than an insane raping enslaver.
He's orange enlightened he ain't gonna he's not at risk of going insane anymore. It's not like he's forced to go to one extreme or the other, it's not a binary choice where he's either full 'nice guy' or god emperor McRape. There's a gradient there and ParaPaul isn't well balanced right now, he's got practically no push.

Consider the following: ParaPaul is acutely aware of all of his desires. While he has acknowledged a desire to do-the-squishy-boom-boom-do, he hasn't pursued it very adamantly. This is probably because it's a lower priority desire.

It's like how I can almost always go for a bite of chocolate. That does not mean I am constantly stuffing myself with it.

I suppose my main question is how Blackfire got her English skills. I know Star got it from a kiss with Dick.
She probably also got it by having a kiss with dick.

Well he definitely desires sex, I'm not expecting him to suddently become a hedonist who only cares that and again there's no need to go for one extreme or the other.

Happens all the time in Real Life, in fact that's pretty much the whole point of certain types of dance clubs/bars.

Not exactly true, and when it is... There are reasons for that.

I grew up in a stable country. Heck, our system of government hasn't had a revolution since the Restoration. If a crime happens, the criminal will be decried by all. The police will (probably) investigate and the social expectation is that they will. With luck, the perpetrator will be found and punished. I hold to a social contract regarding my behaviour (mostly) and can be reasonably confident that my fellow citizens will as well.

That is not where Komand'r grew up.

She grew up in a place where on the day of her birth the local imperial power carried out an orbital strike on her planet's capital. Why? Because she was born, and they wanted everyone to associate hundreds of thousands of deaths with her. Tamaran is more like Earth Bet than anywhere else, perhaps even worse because instead of Endbringers who'll leave if you survive fighting them for half an hour they have the Citadel Fleet occasionally deciding that 'the orange haired ones are worth fifty points each'. She's never been somewhere stable enough for the 'rule of law' to mean anything. All she's ever seen -in the most horrifying ways- is the strong doing what they want and no one being able to stop them.

And eventually, she internalised that.

Why is she having sex with Red after only knowing him for a little while? He helped her, he seems genuine and she finds him attractive. Those are the bits she's consciously aware of. Plus, normal Tamaranian liberal attitudes to sexuality. But beyond that, he's got a room full of skulls of strong people he killed. This means that he is very strong. And he wants to work with her. That means she is strong and because she is strong she is safe and she can get what she wants. And he has offered to help her get stronger.

And that makes her happy.

I like this. Especially since it ties into the lore of the show. Just look at what Starfire was like when she first came to earth.
