The local self doesn't need to be a telepath for a telepathic version of her to feel her mind.

Assuming there even is a local version of this girl. Given how different DCAU and Young Justice are, I would not be surprised if it turned out there is no local version of Lynne Wayland. Or perhaps there was, but she died in the Klarion incident or something.

Heh, Now I imagine that while Paulven is out in another universe and Barda/Mister Miracle #50 come back again and then run into the real Grayven of Universe 16. :lol

That's true for normal magic, but absorbing divine magic from the awaken New Goddess of Magic (Zatanna) might have other effects.
I don't think divine magic is a thing. Zatanna's soul is made up of Earth magic, and she uses Order magic as the structure of her spells. As far as this story has shown, divine magic is just magic that is used by gods, not something that is inherently different from normal magic.

Behind Zatanna and Tao, probably about equal with Wallace. If that actually tells you anything.
It actually does. Zatanna and Tao are closer to the New God side because they have their magic and their goddess charging their souls respectively. Wallace, meanwhile, only has ambient magic charging his soul. The fact that she's about even with Wallace despite being awakened for a much shorter time implies she's gonna hella powerful.

So THAT'S why Scott wasn't using any God Speech. It's the wrong Scott!

"Okay, people need to stop hitting me in the face now. Ow."
And here we see a distinct difference between Grayven and Paul. This could have been orange. It isn't.

Lynne Wayland steps out of the portal. Her hair's a little longer than when last I was her
I never knew Grayven had been a girl!

Is this intentionally misspelled or did you mean "sugar"?

He just up and out calls her 'Daughter' like that without seriously thinking about doing so?
skeevy mind rapey feel to it given he basically forced those feelings onto her.
I think it's worth noting that this is a mind-whammy in BOTH directions. Grayven may be free of his mantling and of the ALE, but that doesn't mean he's out of the woods in terms of unexpected things connected to his soul. The connection HE feels to HER is just as artificial as the other way around.

So while this IS a forced connection, it's not something Grayven can be considered guilty of committing, because he didn't do it on purpose, didn't expect the result, and is also being affected by.

He was about to think 'well shit.'
But changed it at the last moment because of the little girl.
Yes, I know that. I meant the "e" (suger) vs. the correct "a" (sugar).

That said I personally would suggest toning down Lynne's adoration a bit, it just has a skeevy mind rapey feel to it given he basically forced those feelings onto her.
She's also finally seeing her savior again after a few months of no contact. A amplified reaction seems believable to me.

On the one hand, it's very considerate that you respond to your reader's feedback.

On the other hand, the opinion most people seemed to have had on Fire was 'we find this character rather distasteful', with a handful of people coming to the character's defense in a half hearted manner where the criticisms were severely negative.
Correction: the most vocal opinion readers expressed. I for one had no strong feeling either way in regards to Fire, and judging by the number of ratings given to that chapter exceeded 200, I'd say the vast majority of readers didn't get involved in that debate on either side.

He considers the matter Thursday.
He ends up going with the Earth 16 version of that midget from Superman Animated.
Dr Psycho?

Oh. Well that's messed up.
Grayven: "That's Apokalyptian, so yeah, 'messed up' can be safely assumed."

A consequence is a result or effect of an action or condition. They do not necessarily have to be negative, eaglejarl.

You're right that that's what the word means in general usage. In the context of character development, however, consequences need to be negative in order to cause growth. Giving the protagonist a reward doesn't provide the same impetus to change / improve as presenting them with an obstacle that they must overcome.

@Mr Zoat here are the epubs I made up to now.
The Season 1 epub is completed and up to date as of 09/04/2016
The Season 2 epub will be redone once the transition of the story only thread from SB->SV is finished

epub for Season 1 (Episodes 01-26) [MediaFire][MediaFire Alt. Formatting][GoogleDrive] by @Twilight666 (corrections added up to 09/04/2016)
epub for Season 2 (Episodes 27-41) [MediaFire][MediaFire Alt. Formatting][GoogleDrive] by @Twilight666 (chapters up to 24/05/2016, corrections ->26/12/2015)

I... do not know what to say to you to change your mind, nor do I want to cause an argument. I will just say that you are wrong, and leave it at that.

simple, translate it to real life. everything that grows you as a person IRL is character growth. you can grow in real life from rewards because its an incentive to take that same

also, be more carefull, your describing ace as a reward/obstacle. i know what you mean but we already had people jumping to sexism in here.
