@Mr Zoat, when can readers expect a Story Only thread similar to the one on SB? I've never been a fan of the previous thread constantly updating and having to read through the garbage most people post to get what I came for; if it was even there.

Well, if you'd read any of the "garbage," you'd know that the past two pages have featured that discussion pretty prominently. Seems that it'll have to be manually transferred, unless the guy who originlly made the porting tool updates it for this. So who knows, in summation.

Well I am not going to act like I agree with the reasoning for this 100% (i made that clear on SB) but it is entirely your prerogative Mr Zoat; and i will carry on reading regardless.

Now excuse me while i try to figure this site out again. (ooh word count in the corner... sorry :))

Oh that's cute. You can't read.

The first two are carrying what look like… Blaster Launchers? Hook coated chains wrap themselves around the bearers and yank them back down towards the middle layer where they land with a pair of yelps. Three shield bearers keep back, covering another marine with a short barrelled weapon of some kind. I create another construct Gordanian just in time for us both to be struck by another fusillade of yellow energy bolts from outside the ship. I create a barrier covering the hole where the window used to be just as the marine with the gun fires. Oh, what's-.

Ah.

Blood?

He seems to have forgotten Thanagarian's have anti power ring weapons that can go through power ring barriers like a hot knife through butter.

I think that what's actually happening is that their heavy weapons team did have radion weapons.

"…we need heavy weapons up here now!" The officer looks up for a moment and we make eye contact. I take the opportunity to refresh my armour, changing from construct demon-samurai to a construct Gordanian. Yes, that's better. Without even looking into them I can feel the current of fear as my armour better corresponds to their expectations. "And if we've got any radion blasters, bring them up as well."
Also, he by his own admission jumped in without a real plan:

Okay, so, what next? I sort of.. jumped in without coming up with a concrete-.

GAAAAAAHH!
Jumping in without looking first is a habit of Grayven's, and it looks to be having fairly painful consequences this time.

Come to think of it, this is partly him not being as used to people having specialized anti-him equipment as Orange Lantern has become, since he's had less of an impact. Rather like how he doesn't need to deal with the proliferation of scry wards, and OL does. Grayven is used to dealing with people who have neither anti-Orange Lantern weapons, nor anti-New God weapons. Now he's fighting people who have a New God enemy, and actually do have specialized anti-New God weapons on hand.

Also, I believe Zoat said in a previous post that Radion doesn't actually affect Renegade, at least not more than anyone else.

Which only works at all because Renegade has put so much effort into pretending to be as real a Grayven as the actual thing. He might be regretting that now.

Still @Mr Zoat here are the epubs I made up to now. I will wait for the transition from SB->SV to end before updating them.
If there are differences during cross-posting (if it is not done automatically) could you tell me what they are so that I don't have to redo them completely

epub for Season 1 (Episodes 01-26) [MediaFire][MediaFire Alt. Formatting][GoogleDrive] by @Twilight666 (corrections added up to 07/12/2015)
epub for Season 2 (Episodes 27-36) [MediaFire][MediaFire Alt. Formatting][GoogleDrive] by @Twilight666 (chapters up to 26/12/2015)
Note: The Alt versions have background color deep blue and default text color white. Also the transparent text has the same color as the background, and is in black borders.
Thank you, updated. I'll see about getting a Story Only thread set up here tomorrow.
Anyway, as far as the archival thing goes, I've PMed the creator of the original tool to see if there's a working version floating around. Hopefully there is and you won't have to manually transfer nearly a million words.
That would be really nice.

not to rock the boat Sir... but your FAQ put down 30th September? don't you mean December? also if this story is going to be as long as you plan, you may want to add a year in the interests of time. (no pun intended)

There was a post on the SpaceBattles thread in which Zoat said Dana Dearden wasn't Obsession for Orange Lantern yet... I was going to quote it and say "Don't worry, I got it covered", but there's the technical issue that this isn't quite the same site.
How are the lines in the Orange Lantern icon staying straight on a curved surface in the first picture? Did she tailor it to compensate, or something?

Yup, the Mods can transfer everything you have done in full if I remember right but you have to contact them.
Hi @Mr Zoat

The migration software was decommissioned and hasn't been touched in well over a year and as such I'm unsure if it would work as expected. Plus there where side effects which would require the entire search index to be rebuilt which was fine when the board was vastly smaller but not now.

As such, an automatic migration will not be possible. The post timers are quite low compared to SB.

Regards,
Xon

It's also due to this being his first time against the weapons of a star faring species. Usually if he messes up against Human weapons it goes like Stryker's Island did: he takes a few hits but they're more embarrassing than anything else. Thanagarian weapons on the other hand are powerful enough to hurt him.

Added to the art list.
