So, when I was looking up stuff on Abra Kadabra due to this fic I sound this on the DC Wiki

What is WRONG with you, sixty forth century.

"Hey, future Ralph. Abra's committing crimes in the twentieth century again for attention."
"Hey, future Sam. Just give him the ability to mind control people to clap for him, that'll shut him up."
Maybe they had records from the 20th century of the 64th century doing that to him, and wanted to complete the loop?

Go Mighty One!!
I agree with others, this is very suspicious. And why didn't Paul check them!? I'd get forgetting to check for one specific thing, but not checking them at all!!? I'm leaning towards mind control or imposters.
Kal-El wasn't with them because he wanted to spend more time in Supertown. Those are the real Justice Leaguers. The League is perfectly capable of defeating Apokoliptians in anything other than totally overwhelming number or Darkseid.
Aw :( :(

"OK, this is getting ridiculous. Is anyone here not an Apokoliptian infiltrator?"
I'm not an Apokaliptian infiltrator.

I'd hate to see how it'd turn out if he went alone.

Given how angry he is and that angry people are stupid people I suspect it would end very badly for Khandac. His powers MIGHT protect him from her mind control but there are other options. On another path if he got caught on camera murdering 'Queen Bee'* it could easily start of regional war (murdering a head of state is certainly a casus belli) which would leave most of the middle east in flames and Queen Bee more powerful than ever.

*Queen Bee definitely has the resources to get a convincing body double and given how homicidal Adom is even if she's innocent having one is not a bad idea.

I doubt that a body double, no matter how skilled, would hold up for long against a truth demigoddess. Given Adom's statement of "I'll murder you violently if I detect any treachery" I think it will be the real Queen Bee.

so how well does Diana's truth power hold up against memory modification? For example if the light had a psychic make some temporary modifications to queen bee's memory for the duration of the talks?

Her innate ability only works if someone intentionally lies. The lasso with burn the false memories right out of your head.

Let me put it this way: if the Light somehow managed to guess that their Apokoliptian offensive would be rebuffed by Orange Lantern, and then he'd manage to diplomance Adom into reasonableness using Captain Marvel's secret identity as the lynchpin, and THEN they'd think to go fetch Diana and have a truth-lasso assisted chat with Queen Bee, and figured this out far enough in advance to somehow do the necessary R&D for anti-truth lasso brain surgery - which would presumably require actual access to the lasso, or else they'd just be flying blind - ...

Then they're way too smart to have done even half the retarded bullshit they've pulled in the past.

EDIT: Stranger'd by Zoat

if Diana was being sprung on them sure, but Adom told them she was coming and why. If the light goes into panic mode they can probably get truggs to rush out a thinking cap that would let them do some temporary work on queen bees mind.

of course assuming queen bee is actually innocent, she could just insist on not answer any questions not directly pertaining to the attack in Diana's presence. So she doesn't accidentally hint at the lights existence.

I'm not sure they actually have anyone available to do that. Psimon is in jail, Manchester Black works for Britain, the Thinking Cap doesn't grant the skill to do so, and all the other telepaths I can think of wouldn't be aligned with Queen Bee. Not sure how many magic users available to the Light would be skilled enough in mind magic to make any sophisticated memory changes either.

Captain Adams shakes his head. "Desaad had torn it apart before we got there. Lucky for us. Hyalt -one of the New Genosian weapon techs- gave us a run down of what it could have done if they'd left it under their control and it didn't sound like anything I'd want to tangle with. Anything much happen while we were gone?"
Hmm.

If I may ask, does that mean that Desaad is now in possession of the remnants of the Infinity Man?
Or did they recover it before fleeing Apokolips?
Somehow I don't see good things coming from that research.
Especially since some versions state that the Infinity Man is actually what remains of Darkseid's brother.

More to the point, do you think Queen Bee trusts anyone from the Light inside her head?
I wouldn't either.
