Sorry, phone autocorrect changed "god" to "good". The actual correction was changing "heard" to "hear".

while innocents were being TORTURED TO DEATH, and eaten, not always in that order, yes.Did you miss the part where Zoat clarified that if Grayven had given him a weeks time to prep, he would have been right there helping him?
Grayven told Superman that he didn't agree with Supe's viewpoint and walked away to continue the clean up in England. Short of Superman/the Justice League actively getting involved on the British establishment's side there's not much Superman can do. And with Grayven infodumping the background to the Net, the League can't intervene without looking like they support that shit. Grayven was not in a subservient position in that debate, which is part of why Kal-El snatched Grayven, because he did not want to hold that conversation in public.MrZoat likes to jump ahead or to the other timeline whenever he reaches a point where his insert would have actually debate something from a peer or subservient position. Grayven having to actually interact with Superman and other League members in order to stop them from constantly intervening with the coup of a first world government would actually be depicting him having to explain 'or else'. And that's wrong.
Much like every other time Paul/Grayven dealt with 'consequences', it's going to happen entirely offscreen, described afterwards with Paul/Grayven having been absolutely correct the entire time and lecturing a third party of why they were correct.
I'd assume little to no effect really. Most passionately religious people tend to view it as 'if it doesn't match my interpretation it's wrong'.Donna had a good point about how the nature of "God" and its relationship to Heaven isn't common knowledge. But then again, most people probably wouldn't view that knowledge as anything but "an interpretation", so who knows how much the publication of that knowledge would actually change about the (religious) public's reaction.
well, here's ome quotes from part 2 and 3 of the Episode: Underlining the relevent bitsI'm almost certain Superman doesn't know almost anything about what Britain's been doing. Part of that is the magic wards, and part of that is Batman knowing that if Supes did know, he'd do something stupid like try to bring in the entire Parliament to the UN for a fair and just trial (which wouldn't work). I also suspect that Batman doesn't know, which means the League as a whole doesn't. Grayven put the files in public domain, yes, but until Superman spends some time reviewing them all he sees is Grayven (a known murderer with a penchant for megalomania that happens to be on the side of the angels) overthrowing a seemingly-legitimate developed nation.
"I'm going to overthrow the government of Britain and execute most of its ruling caste."
"-ing and there we go." He looks more amused than concerned. "And why would you do a thing like that?"
"Because they're super… Bad..?" Hm. "I mean, by Apokoliptian standards it barely registers, but by Human standards, they're.. like… The fastest snails in the garden? And they're running a modern country which would loathe their behaviour." I take a large binder out of subspace next to him. "Take a look."
He looks at the folder, drumming the fingers of his right hand on it for a moment before having his multi-cube miniaturise and store it. "I don't think you'd bother doing something like this if there wasn't something in your accusation. But I don't really understand why you're telling me." "Just another place to conquer, Conquest?"
"After the whole Anti-Life.. thing… I've tried to involve you in my life more." I jiggle my legs up and down. "Lynne's too. And I need someone to brief the Justice League before my targets start bleating about being attacked by supervillains."
"Planned for that. Back of the folder. We've made plans to tide the government over until new elections can be held. Get.. Batman to have a look at it, would you? Probably a bit late to make any radical changes, but I don't mind taking advice."
"And exactly how long do we have to think about this?"
"About a month. We're moving the people we're not targeting into a secure location before we start anything."
"Look. Tomorrow, I'm going to put everything I have into the public domain. Tonight, all of the really dangerous people are going to be rendered 'safe', and a lot of the paedophile-cannibals are going to spend some time in a secure location until I'm sure that a trial can be arranged. You can either try and make sure that there's still a functioning country by the end of the week, or… The next guy on the list is Jeremy Corbin, and… Let's be honest, he's not one for running things."
"And…" Something occurs to her. "Your brother is a member of the Justice League. You've already spoken to them."
"Sort of." I can't help but grin a little. By my reckoning two days was long enough for Batman to speed read through the entire thing and contact me with any glaring problems, but nothing like long enough for the League to come to a considered opinion. "They think I'm doing this next month."
I am now imagining some technomagical monstrocity where the cups are shaped like drills, including spiral drilling grooves made out of some magical, enchanted metal. And they actually rotate and work as drills, so you can use them to bore into someone to pierce armor and rend flesh by getting into a good position during a grapple. You know, something functional yet practical, while being horrifying at the same time! This is OL; for him anything worth doing is worth overdoing. He'd give her the most over-the-top bra ever created. Orichalcum-reinforced, force field padding for comfort, antigravity support, and both lead-shielded & scry-warded agaisnt voyeuristic wizards and/or Kryptonians.
Let's be honest here: if it were me, when a supervillain/loose cannon superhero delivers to me a plan to overthrow the British government... I'd make time for that, because no matter what the reasons are for that, it's probably more important than almost anything that I'm likely to be dealing with at the moment. Anything more important than that would probably involve the destabilizing agent as well, due to it being something like an alien invasion.
Assuming any of them even know it exists.
They don't have a league meeting every day you know. They don't spend every off-screen moment hanging around on the watchtower waiting for grayven to talk to them.
Two days for what Grayven told Scott was a non-emergency might not have even reached them yet.
That's what phones are for. Scott calls everyone after he's done reading the file, because of what's in the file. Keeping in mind that the League are all superheroes, so they are always on call unless they're already fighting a super villain, and sometimes even then if it's not a particularly dangerous one.Assuming any of them even know it exists.

You mean like how Grayven knew about this for months and didn't stop it until he was ready?while innocents were being TORTURED TO DEATH, and eaten, not always in that order, yes.
*snorts sarcastically* some hero!
oh wow. no, this is even stupider then my initial gut reaction!
if Grayven has a RECORDING of that conversation, he has blackmail material capable of DESTROYING supes.
we're talking "lex luthor getting caught red-handed on LIVE international TVm robbing a bakesale intended to raise money for cancer research AND burning the proceeds, and getting arrested" destruction of reputation here!
NOBODY would EVER trust him again- even if it was never bought up out-loud,there'd be too many questions about wether he'd "let me/ my wife/little sister/2 year old daughter die because the paperwork would be inconvenient..."-regardless of IF that was the actual reason he was pissed-im sincerely hoping that Renverse Bruce grabbed the idiot ball (and started rubbing his face all over it) and delayed passing the briefing files around to the other founders....
barring the hyperbole, what i mean is the COA he's claiming to have wanted grayven to take would have involved sacrificing innocents in exchange for "not stepping on the toes" of either Britan's Government (impossible, given it was literally rotten to the very core!) or not freaking out other nations (which would have gotten innocents killed, or maimed/mentally scarred for life while achieving NOTHING-if not leading to a foreign club-member giving them a tipoff...that a MASSIVE raid was coming, and to BOLT)-which is..... directly contrary to his entire theme as an inspiration-type paragon AND his public image...
*sighs*
GRANTED, he SHOULD have said "the situation is intolerable,as an apocolyptican, this is INTOLERABLY reminiscent of my fathers court, innocent men, woman and children are being tortured/eaten alive/murdered and having their souls given to literal demons in exchange for sexual favours right NOW, the longest im willing to wait is 2 days then im going in blazing, here's ALL my evidence!", but... he...is a BIT of a dick, as you mayyy have noticed....
...and instead,
Grayven threw a minor tantrum and walked off in a huff, instead of having the balls to stand his ground, get in the spandex-clad idiots face, and CALL HIM on violating the most IMPORTANT principle's he claimed to stand up for, that his PARENTS TAUGHT HIM to his face, soley for his own benefit- and trying to RATIONALISE it!
(dammit, im TRYING not to ramble and it came out like this, and when i tried to TLDR it got worse >.>)
Grayven doesn't pretend to be a moral exemplar though. You mean like how Grayven knew about this for months and didn't stop it until he was ready?
I kind of think that Batman would prioritize it simply because he's smart enough to understand the implications of Grayven not trusting or respecting the League all that much, sand thus consider the idea that Grayven may be lying about his intended timetable (even if he didn't get the exact timing right, going before the JL expects him to in order to keep them for interfering is something I think Batman would realize is in character for Grayven).Scott delivered the data to Batman, who (knowing Grayven is something of a loose cannon) likely prioritized reading it. You're likely correct that most of the League hasn't had time to really examine the info beyond a brief look.
Of course, Grayven may find that Batman had a busy couple days and hadn't had time to fully read it and there was a problem or two in the Plan.
That just means it will be both cathartic and in following a holy instruction if Kon then kills them both upon meeting them hanging out together.Well, Heracles has been hanging out with Buddha for the last few thousand years...
I thought Match hadn't shown up in the Paragon Path?
between the mention of Match and the Source, i somewhat get the impression of Grayven, though the fact that Kon is still a hybrid makes it clear it's actually Paul here.
He mentioned Match to the Jor-El program when they brought Kara to the Fortress, and Jor-El seemed likely to get on Kal's case about that, something Paul was also going to do.
They found Match in Cadmus but IIRC they never woke him up. They are hoping to correct his mental/medical issues first.
Palvos knows about the Source Wall from his Meta-knowledge, though Grayven probably knows more (due to getting additional info on it from Fatherbox, and later Motherbox).between the mention of Match and the Source, i somewhat get the impression of Grayven, though the fact that Kon is still a hybrid makes it clear it's actually Paul here.
The abrupt shift doesn't help...
