Who the heck designed this thing and failed basic design sanity? Someone skipped a safety check at least.
That'd be Zor-El. Given in some continuities he's a murderous loony obsessed with his brother's wife, or a brainwashed cyborg, having his daughter's pod suffer some software damage when stuck in the middle of a gigantic pile of a functionally unprecedented pile of radioactive minerals, and still having her survive? Well, I'd say Zor-El 16 is doing alright.

Now OL has to keep the local area breathable and not get killed by freaking out survivor.
Or all the Kryptonite exploding from the heat vision and releasing more kryptonite radiation, some of which'll kill Kon and Kara, some of which'll make them evil, one'll make them big, one'll make them small, and the ones that mother gives them won't do anything at all...

It's also pertinent to keep in mind that enough radiation can physically induce software failures, by way of photon impacts causing electric potential shifts inside a memory or storage device.

Really should have splurged for the ECC RAM on your kryptonian escape pod to compensate for cosmic rays, but then you need a server motherboard and CPU and those are expensive. What can you do?

"Kon and I may, possible have found a Kryptonian survivor. They're in a kryptonite-rich asteroid in what I hope is a sealed container. I need to know whether Kal-El's got any sort of medical facilities in his Fortress or not."

Ho will Superman react to the news? And the League?

I remember in Superman/Batman: Apocalypse that Kara, in her freak-out, destroyed $50,000 worth of custom hardware. What she will do here?

"Black kryptonite, apparently."

Holly molly! That was close, Paul!

Beams of red light flash out and bore through the inside of the asteroid!

Suggestion: one is an half-Kryptonian, the other is a Lantern with a ring able to translate on every possibile language of the Universe. Cannot they try to tell her "Please stop! We are trying to help you!"

Still a masterpiece, Zoat!

Kara Zor-El is going to cause one hell of a blow to Superman if she ends up being trained by and identifying more with the Amazons if she gets trained by them like in some of the comics. I believe she's even considered an honorary Amazon in some continuities.
I wonder how Kal-El would feel if he managed to alienate two thirds of his living relatives by his own actions? Hopefully he would start changing his attitude a bit by then.
By the way, how did Ma and Pa Kent react to Kon being adopted by Wonder Woman instead of them? Did they just not know, or did they share Kal-El's opinion on cloning?

Do remember that most Kryptonians didn't actually have superpowers, because their sun is not yellow. This is probably the first time Kara has ever used her heat vision.

So it's going to make her panic even more.

I seriously hope they do not know. Because, according to every version of them, if they know about Kon, they would be pissed at Clark....

Better add a "Close your eyes!" then...

kara however would try to contact kal and establish a good relationship with him because he's her baby cousin. Putting all responsibility on Kal El is a mistake. It takes two to tango.

Just because he dropped the with Kon doesn't mean he'll do so with kara.

There's a better then average chance the atmospheric sensors were destroyed, so I would give it a pass.

Doubly so since any Lantern worth their salt would be able to put up a nearly instant atmospheric shield and vacuum isn't immediately lethal to humans let alone the much sturdier kryptonians.

Also most Lanterns would have listened to the message instead of talking over it so would have had their shield already up. :lol

So, no powers to heat vision in less than one second of exposure to Kon. Yeah, titanic magic is a potent thing indeed.

Also "how does exposure to radiation turns one evil?" asks the wielder of mind-altering orange light of avarice. Black kryptonite could easily operate on the emotional spectrum physics.

But the Black Light of Dead/Unlife isn't the same as evil

If it zombify then it make some sense but flipping some one personality 180* doesn't seem like something the Black Light do

To be fair from what I remember Black Kryptonite doesn't turn someone Evil so much as flip their alignment to opposite end of the spectrum.

Would be interesting to try using that stuff on the Phantom Zone prisoners.
