Personally, I think a big part of why OL is doing this is to experiment on how to turn one hell creature into something different. Something, that if he can do it reliably, he can then turn around and turn ever lord of hell or whatever into something...much less.

Think about it. Wiping out all of hell's "leadership" without actually killing them so that they just head back and reform.

It's not like he was really using them.

If she can knock Hell around a bit, that's probably a win for him.
not to mention that I'm sure Constantine would approve of anything that pisses Satanus off. He's trying to kill Blaze (presumably) to both steal her power and to eliminate someone who knows all too much about his powers/how he thinks. Transforming her into an angel means he can't steal her power, and if she joins the Justice League then she can provide them all that intel about him (and Hell in general)

Raven would have been a better choice.
I'm pretty sure Raven is like 4 here, so not much of anything?
I believe she's still living in Azerath with her mom at this time anyways.

Paul, you're essentially becoming Constantine Beyond here...I mean turning a Cambion into a Nephilim is kind of crazy by Constantine's standards here and that's without taking a few giant leaps beyond it with using what amounts to stolen angelic power to do it.

I did not know that word. Though technically, if the SI was right about her mother possessing someone, she'd simply be the offspring of two Humans with a novel soul structure.

Technically, Cambion is still the term for it.

One of the major uses for it was with the succubus/incubus progeny which were still, technically, having two human parents...mainly because the older myths were more of the succubus would sleep with a guy and steal his seed, then modify/corrupt it as they transformed into an incubus, and then use it on a girl.

Will Gabriel's wings actually make anyone good? I mean, if this is anywhere close to Hellblazer/Lucifer continuity, Gabriel was the worst person in the Silver City by several orders of magnitude. On the other hand, now that he's been gone for a few years, I can see the Heavenly Hosts making only the most obviously token attempts to punish OL for this.

Did not know Jeb swung that way.

Full stop.

It is unwise to try experimental procedures on people whose deaths would trouble you.

That means Oh El wants to empower someone else.

I wonder who that person is?
They are basically a trophy. A dangerous one. One that could potentially be used. I'm willing to bet that if John decided to break into wherever Paul keeps the Spear of Destiny and take it to be used in some sort of ritual that would permanently consume it, Paul would be very upset.

The wings belong to John by right of conquest. He fought and bled for them. He is responsible for them. Just using them without his consent or a significant compensation is not a proper thing to do. At all.

Oh El have him more power that he can deal with and might be actually killing him. I think a pair of wings for becoming a lord of Harmony is a decent prize.

John is not stupid, he will stop using the Helmet and just give it to someone else. Then he will "just" be a Lord Of Chaos.

Detective Chimp: What I would do with this thing anyway?

Constantine: No clue, the helmet is your problem now, bye mate.

Ehh? So He'll isn't Christian then? Or have those missionaries got rockets? Or are Christians aliens? Does that make the angels/devils distinct from other gods/elementals?

Well, we know that the story of Cain and Abel didn't happen on EARTH.
It probably happened in Malthus.

Debatable. He'd age normally without his ring.
Well, even if you don't age, you'd be lucky to make it to 10K. I think getting an uncapped human longevity wouldn't take that much of an effort from OL.

Can OL teleport without the ring, btw? Or is he lacking sufficient Orange Juice to do ringless spectrum manipulation?

Isn't it 'the prescence' when referring to the intelligence?
Just because the Source is debatably stupid, doesn't mean it's memory is bad.
Maybe they sort of can be related/mapped to the limbic system, cerebellum and cerebrum?
