A paedophile is a person attracted to pre-pubescents. Unless the people he's attempting to engage in sexual intercourse with are prepubescent, then he is not a paedophile.

You might consider it creepy, but that's a different word altogether, and the English language, through being the richest language on earth, has a wealth of variety from which to pick should you wish to describe something accurately. And if you're going to tell us there's something bad about him, then please be accurate, otherwise your argument gets pretty much dismissed by most people the moment you use an incorrect ad hominem to denounce him with.
 
Regardless of who his next candidate is Paul should open up with the fact that they don't have to worry about John Constantine ever joining the Justice League any cooperation with him will be limit any potential damage he cause all by himself, especially since he got a major power up of both Order and Chaos magic. If the next candidate is female then it could be Enchantress, Black Orchid, Warlock's Daughter, or some other obscure character that doesn't show up in the DC wiki.

The word for attraction to teenagers of age 15-19 is ephebophilia, though why we need a word for that is beyond me.
 
First, in most continuities Zatanna is quite a bit older, and having relations with her is definitely not "pedo".

And second, if he's 11,000 years old he probably doesn't have much choice but to have sex with his descendants unless he wants to go outside the human species.
 
For accuracy. Because humans like to categorise things, and that's a period of life that is late-pubescent, and thus not pre-pubescent. We have words for everything, did we really need a word for "softly falling snow"? Yes, because that's a thing, and thus deserves its own name.

EDIT: And aye, she is. My first intro to her was in Books of Magic, where there's no way in hell a person would be considered a paedophile for being attracted to her. A weird comics obsessed shut-in, sure. But that's a different kettle of fish.

The other pertinent pieces of info are his entry in relation to Zatanna.

Zatanna is considered the last step in his breeding plan and their descendents (him and Zatanna) would create the perfect Homo Magi.
 
And at 11,000 years old it's been a long, long time since having relations with someone his own age was a realistic option. I mean, the Greek gods are much younger than he is. At that age "wait until she's old enough" isn't creepy, it's an inevitability.

If Vandal gets all of my hate then i see no reason why Doctor Pedo shouldn't get it as well. Then again my country suffered under the hand of a dictator that liked to nail young women, so the cultural conditioning to hate these people on pure reflex is nothing to sneeze at. And no the age of consent is not applicable when one of the parties has a HUGE developmental advantage over the other.

So yes, he isn't allowed to have any relationship outside people with equivalent development, if he doesn't like it he can always kill himself.

Yes, the relationship is too unequal, too unbalanced.

He has too much of an advantage, this isn't on the level of a random fourty or fifty year old hooking with someone half his/her age. This is so unbalanced its not even funny.

He has lived long enough and has enough knowledge of magic that he could have MADE one of his previous wives immortal, and yet here he is single and hoping to spread his seed around on random women orders of magnitude less knowledgeable and mentally developed than him.

Relationships aren't PvP games where balancing is involved. There are thousands of couples out there where one spouse is the money maker with all the relevant skills to be successful in the real world, while the other is relegated to house wife/husband. If there is no child in the equation, you often have one spouse that is the money maker, the social networker and pillar of the relationship, while the other half's only advantage is looking pretty. Compared the two and what they each bring to the table, if they ever split up its super obvious who would be the one better off. I myself am the result of such a union, but that doesn't mean a deep meaningful relationship can't be reached.

And to the point of mental development, the man's not shown signs of ascending to a higher being or somesuch, as far as we know, he's just a very old human being. An adult woman would be just as mentally developed, maybe not as mature, maybe not as intelligent, but certainly mentalled developed. but say his ideal candidate in an adult Zatanna, if she's anything like her counterparts in other continuities, she's mature enough, and self sufficient enough to make her own decisions. You intervening would be just you imposing your own sensibilities on someone else, which is distasteful to say the least.

He's basically saying the same thing that both OL and Grayvy have, if in different terms.
It's not unreasonable to appreciate the good things the JL has done and worry that the influence of the Justice League might foster bad habits in Earth as a whole. It's, to draw an analogy, like enjoying the benefits of fossil fuels and still worrying about their impact on the environment.

The man's being reasonable voicing private concerns; he's not leading political pressure groups, or joining a secretive group of supervillains who are worried about the same thing.

Same with Khandaq.
Teth Adom's improved things vastly now, and it's good to appreciate it.
But in a hundred, two hundred years? Who knows.

The man is old enough, and has enough life experience, to worry.
He and Alan will probably get on just fine.

Or if you want to work on the human race entering the stars, rather than merely an Orange Lantern Corps Starship, then it could be an Earth StarShip, an Intrepid Class ESS Starship 'Anima mea'. It'd be a flagship both for defence of the System should any of the four close powers wish to get violent, and for research, and milkruns between Earth and Mars.
