As in this story, in New Earth continuity the Zamarons took Korugarian males as mates.

This irritated/evoked jealousy from the Guardians, so they set it up that if a green lantern ring was used to kill a Korugarian, the central power would explode, to make sure that they would never act out on their irritation.

The GLC didn't find this out until after they executed Sinestro, during one of the times the Guardians were too busy being dead or in another universe or something to command the GLC.

And that's just one example of the Guardians treating the GLC like mushrooms in the DC franchise.

So if Zoat actually has the Guardians be in the habit of telling the GLC things they really need to know, then despite all the jokes the Guardians here are better bosses than they are often portrayed.

...Yeah, she's starting to remind me of my grandmother already.

I see only good things coming of this.

I'm a bit confused why the ring's travels across the multiverse brought it back to the same universe. Wait. So there was a significant time gap between when she released the ring and when Paul gained ownership of it... I have an idea of why Orangest Night happens! The ring first appeared in another galaxy or dimension. The owner had a way to keep it powered and used it to create a vast construct army. This army was composed of some beings like T. O. Morrow that create dimension-traveling technology OR ways to travel the gaps between galaxies. The constructs follow any standing orders after the ring is taken off, or in this case, the wielder was destroyed in a dimension-rending explosion. The constructs eventually make their way to this Earth because that's where the ring ended up! And Paul didn't exist in that future because his soulless body was created by the Bleed.

And now introducing Controller Countess Cares-Not-At-All-About-Your-Bullshit. With non-standard face and no patience for stupid. This can only end in good things and hilarity. And possibly explosions.

Also, Propriety? Are we about to find out what that second compulsion is? I'm still thinking it had something to do with why Paul tends to be so polite to everybody, even when he's lecturing them and/or kicking their ass.

...I kinda want her to come to Earth and talk to Batman like this, and have him say something to contradict her and then she tells him, "Boy, I am three billion years older than you. I know what I'm talking about." Because why, after three billion years, would she particularly care about any one planet? Given that her species is immortal, things have still changed pretty drastically, and it would be pretty boring to stay on one planet for... well... ever.

I just want her to go to earth and freak people out and her give absolutely no shits about it. :p

Why is it that every time I hear another story about Guardians doing something it's the most idiotic nonsense ever?
Utter fucking idiots, every time. Holy shit.

I know it was said before, but I like this lady already. She's evening testing things before doing them with a reasonable hypothesis on the outcome. That's downright uncommon in the DC universe.
