Seems like Kon and Mgann are more annoyed with the lie than the act itself and now they understand why he lied, while they probably won't be happy about it, I think their relationship isn't in any danger.

That's a relevant question for more than one reason. As I pointed out before, there's absolutely a precedent in international law for governments to persecute their citizens for crimes they committed abroad, even if those crimes aren't considered such where they were perpetuated. So if Hyppolita is not ok with Paul killing Nabu, she could absolutely put him to trial. Hell, Diana, as the heir to the throne and the princess of the country, probably has legal authority to detain, judge and enact judgement on Paul.

I doubt she'd do anything considering Eris's direct involvement, Themyscirans are remarkably subservient when it comes to their gods. None of them where willing to challenge Apollo or call out Zeus, so the likelihood of any of them risking Eris's wrath is pretty low.

Going to note that OL could very well, and probably should, have dropped a ring recording of the entire Incident/confrontation to the JL for their records/investigation. The ring won't have the entire thing like the magic spells, mind, but even an audiovisual recording should be enough corroborating evidence of his Lasso-enhanced interrogation.

Of course, that might very well be an extra hot potato should the League choose to suppress the Incident.

A thought just occurred to me. I dunno how With this ring will end....but I really, really, REALLY hope it doesn't end with Paul going back to Earth Prime and leaving all this behind. Because I loath that kind of ending with every fiber of my being. It ruins everything...whole stories/movies moved from enjoyable to nerve damaging displeasure.

LOL.

And what makes you think that Paul is from Earth Prime? The fact he remembers it?

So does Grayven. And Power Ring Blue. And Anti-GL. And Indigo Tribesman. And Red Lantern. And Gods and Monsters Grayven.

There's only one Prime Earth. Which means most of them must be wrong. Which certainly suggests the possibility that all of them are wrong.

Actually, no. Trials like that happen in the forum, and while Hippolyta could choose to serve as judge it is considered poor form to rule against the audience. It wouldn't be all that hard for him to sway them to his viewpoint.

Pf, no. Come on, it's a power ring. What sort of idiot do you have to be to give one of those up?

I dunno Zoat. But that was the theme of nearly every empowering/escapist fantasy story and movie when I was growing up.

Found a suit of living alien armor? Better send it away after defeating the villian. Space ship that only obeys you that you've been zipping around the galaxy in? Better get home! It's a school night!

Hearing Zatara as tells the league of his ordeal if played well should touch on but not be identical to POWs from Vietnam telling of their ordeals in the camps.

That last one makes sense; education is important. And there's no reason why you can't just stick the ship in a shed or something during school hours. Otherwise, yes, that's dumb.
Have any of the alternate Pauls gotten a Green Power Ring?
None of the ones I've spent significant time thinking about, no.

One of the worst offenders of this in my view was the Planet of the Apes remake by Tim Burton, (a.k.a. Marky Mark and the Monkey Bunch). So how many guys are going to leave that situation at the end of the movie? You are a liberator and hero to the remainder of humanity, you have made great friends, and Estella Warren thinks you are da bomb. You're going to give that up for what exactly?

That reminds me there's a variation of the green lantern ring that would be hilariously awkward when trying to be allies with Kryptonians- The League of Justice green lantern ring is enchanted kryptonite, which gets recharged by a bigger hunk of kryptonite.
