Faster than Light Travel
It doesn't have FLT either.
Thank you, corrected.
Shouldn't the cure tech and Anti-Assimilation training make him immune or at least highly resistant to that?-as Guy Gardner points his ring at us, a Star Conqueror covering his face.
Sure, if Guy managed to call on Ion in time. But Starro's mind control is really fast and effective and they/it are experienced against Green Lanterns; unless he went for Ion right off it'd be too late. And "call for Ion" isn't anywhere near the top of the list of things he'll try in a fight.... wait, couldn't Ion work through Guy and say "Fuck all of this shit"?
No, it's been mentioned that Cure-Tech stops Starro-tech but not actual Starros and once the starfish gets on you control is near instant so no time to fight back.Shouldn't the cure tech and Anti-Assimilation training make him immune or at least highly resistant to that?![]()
Thank you, corrected.
i like to consider the amusing idea that the Star Conqueror may accidentally trigger Ion depending on how it is interfacing with the ring when using it.Sure, if Guy managed to call on Ion in time. That's probably why he felt sick for a while instead of being taken over outright. The thing was probably on him for a while, messing with his head to keep him from noticing it's presence until it finally was able to take over.Shouldn't the cure tech and Anti-Assimilation training make him immune or at least highly resistant to that?![]()
This is the point where you start hollering into every available form of communication for backup. Because power rings are awesome, and hostile power rings lose none of that awesomeness.-as Guy Gardner points his ring at us, a Star Conqueror covering his face.
When was it mentioned? No, it's been mentioned that Cure-Tech stops Starro-tech but not actual Starros and once the starfish gets on you control is near instant so no time to fight back.
It's just a Green, their rings shouldn't allow the use of Lethal Force. This is the point where you start hollering into every available form of communication for backup. Because power rings are awesome, and hostile power rings lose none of that awesomeness.
Yes, but there are two giant telekinetic killer starfish without that prohibition. It's just a Green, their rings shouldn't allow the use of Lethal Force.
Or just yoink his ring and convert it like Jon's.Yes, but there are two giant telekinetic killer starfish without that prohibition.
Oh, actually the best counter to Guy may actually be pretty simple: give a live feed to Salaak or a Guardian and request his ring be shut down for the duration of his mind control. It's been mentioned much earlier in the story that that's possible.
are...are you even looking at the avatar of who you made this responce to? have you never heard the phrase "you would be surprised what you can live through"?It's just a Green, their rings shouldn't allow the use of Lethal Force.
No, because he's not a moron.
Guy isn't here right now.Hm... if OL tries assimilation and Guy uses his "I am" thing, would that also break the Starro mind control?
That's what remote deactivation is for. It's also the reason there are two Lanterns per Sector. You'd think the greenies would have countermeasures to starro infection.
