[X][SEC] More Hunting.
[X][SEC] Found New Settlement = Sunrise Bay
Ymarn goes about her daily routine, collecting the tribute for Arthryn from the fishers, farmers and hunters before delivering it to the shrine of the goddess.
Born to two of the rescued Lowlanders, she has Lowlander blood in her veins along with some Forester, but none of the People. No, she doesn't lack the blood of the People, just Arth blood, blood blessed by the Goddess herself.
She is still People regardless of her descent. Everyone knows that the People is not determined by blood, but by community. The oldest-no second oldest tales are of the People are of Arthryn welcome outsiders into village and making them People.
The goddess even took one as a lover, who be the father of her daughter Wyrn.
No, her blood doesn't make her any less People than those with blessed blood. No one doubts that she is a member of the People even if her parents were born outsiders and her grandparents were outsiders and never People.
Yet she is still treated differently. Not because she is inherently lesser, but because as she lacks the blessing of the goddess. She isn't as strong or tough as those whose ancestors got blessed by Arthryn.
It isn't a surmountable advantage, but it does mean that she wasn't in a position to become a farmer or a fisher or a hunter. Ymarn did have opportunity to become one of the shrine's caretakers, assisting the elders in doing deeds that are better suited for a younger body.
Like going about the village and collecting items. A simple task, but one that a youngster like Ymaryn is able to handle better than one of the ageing elders like Haryd or Keryn.
Ymarn likes her job and life. Serving the goddess, learning the lore of the People and about the past and why things are done the way they are, all of those are things that appeal to Ymarn.
It helps that she has been taught about the life is like in the lowlands by her parents. Of how the Foresters would treat the Lowlanders as being lesser solely due to being born a Lowlander and not a Forester. Of how the Foresters were violent monsters who killed and tortured anyone who got in their way, regardless of whether or not they had actually done something to wrong them.
The tale of how her mother was given life after Ymarn's forester grandfather had his way with her lowlander grandmother when he desired a good time after a feast particularly sticks out to Ymarn and stays with her.
The ways of the Lowlands and Forests are truly barbaric and vile.
Hearing a small mew, Ymarn dismisses her interrupted thoughts and looks down to see a striped brown cat waiting by her feet.
The cats are relative recent addition to the tribe as while Ymarn can't remember a time when the People didn't have cats, the elders have informed her that the cats have not always been so.
She particularly remembers the words of Elder Keryn, telling her of how the cats came to the People of their own accord in generations past, preying on vermin that plague the People. In return, the People let the cats take shelter into their homes and have let them eat the spare food.
And in latest generations, the cats who have grown up in the village around the People have begun to view to the People as some kind of kin, seeking them out for food, attention and shelter.
Personally speaking, Ymarn likes the cats as she finds their furry little faces to be absolutely adorable.
Nonetheless, she has a job to do, a sacred duty to preform so that Arthryn is shown proper respect. While she would like to spend time with this adorable little creature, collecting the food for the tribute takes priority.
"My apologies little one, but I cannot feed you nor play with you," Ymarn tells the cat solemnly, "This food is for the goddess and while you may have its physical contents once it has been offered to the goddess, I cannot let you have any before then."
As much as it pains her, Ymarn must leave the cat alone and continue on her day. The goddess requires her service.
As the cat mews again, Ymarn lets out a sigh as she knows that the cat will not understand her words. Instead she reaches out to the colours of the world and pushes the feeling of sacred duty and the impression of food being available to eat after the tribute to the furry fuzzball so the cat knows that the food in Ymarn's cart can be eaten by the cat later and now not.
A Mystic Hero appears! What does Ymarn discover as she grows older?
[] The cats did not come on their own, but were sent by the goddess Arthryn to aid the People. These creatures are servants of the goddess and are sacred to Arthryn.
[] The vile ways of the Lowlanders and Foresters are antithetical to Arthryn and her teaches and that the People must never practice the evils that they discovered in the lowlands.
[] To properly worship Arthryn, there needs to be a group of the People who devote their lives to her service and acting as intermediaries between her and the People, ensuring that her will is known to the People and is followed while also making sure that the concerns of the People are brought before the goddess.
[] To properly worship Arthryn, there needs to be a grander shrine. Every village will need a shrine, but just as the main council of elders is in Greenbay, there needs to be a main shrine in Greenbay.

You guys got rather lucky this turn. You have both a Mystic Hero and you invented carts. Carts at this point are basically a pair of carved wheels tied to carved box of wood using straw rope.
Also, your mid-turn action is being somewhat hijacked by Ymarn and rather than directly voting for it, what happens will be determined by the vote.

Just a vote tally. I'm surprised at how popular the cat vote is. I didn't expect it to get this many votes let alone the lead
