...Welp, it looks like we'll be on the Radar one way or another. Might as well do something Good with it.

Well I'm sorry, Rigby, but will get you later. I promise you.
Men we ride towards the kingdom of Stewie Griffin If you feel the need to leave, I will not blame you, however those who decide to attack him remember death to tyrants

so prepare the cart and gather the best of the best tonight or probably later we ride to fight Stewie Griffin and the test sisters

It applies to Actions and Quests where he knows he'll be throwing hands at. So if bro goes on a Stewardship mission and gets into a Stand fight, he won't have it since he wasn't expecting it.

But here? Ohohoho, yes. Whether you take the Rigby or Test Quest, he's using it in battle.

Oh...

Stewie. We're going to set out Mama Cat and Okuyasu on you. There is no punchline, die.

Well, that's the thing. You can only take one Hero Unit with you on Quests right now, due to the current state of your work crew. You're a little understaffed rn.

Buuuuut... you can also convince other non-Park affiliated Hero Units to come along. Just gotta do a High Malus roll for them, plus a (potential) future one for recruitment.

Oh well, Benson just got a Martial buff. He and Nicole are about to kick ass and take names.

Yeah, but the hand has a lot of uses so consider that plus with the fist of Justice it's gonna give him a plus 20 to his martial or occult

Good point but...dunno, if Stewie has a Stand User, we may be on for a hard time. I suppose it will depend on the nature of the Quest itself. Stealth mission? Would go with Nicole to not risk it. If it's straight combat though, all bets are off for Okuyasu to erase some poor fools.

Wait a minute if it's a stealth mission would Nicolai be better at this? He does have a trait for this kind of stuff.

Sure hope you've been enjoying yourself in your little pond Stewie, cause the you're about to learn how small you really are

...Hey, I just got an idea.
So, we know that Father hates Kids, right?
And that he is Incredibly powerful. And that he has Fatherquest (even if that Quest probably isn't canon to This Quest), so he can work with others.

Idea TLDR: we convince (peacefully) Father to help us defeat Stewie. Split territories, remove 1 King from the Map, Rescue the Test Sister(s).

Seems like a good plan.

IMO, this seems like an bad choice, do remember that fatherquest father (that's weird to say) had already received an significant amount of character development by the time he actually started working with others, combined with his current bad mood as of the rival report, and the fact we have two children directly working for us...

The risk of dealing with another hostile when whoever is in charge of crystal cove is probably coming for us, + antagonising stewie if we fail to eliminate him (and wiping an king out this early on is unlikely, if possible), In theory if we manage to convince father we probably would wipe stewie out, but dealing with an theoretical 1(Stewie, who nobody likes) v2 (Crystal Cove + theoretical father) v1/2 (where the second is... BBB, who is unlikely to be all that helpful) is not an great idea, especially given it could quickly escalate with our neighbours/kankers getting involved, risk doesn't quite seem worth the reward to get him involved.

If we managed to defeat stewie in the available quest, we got to loot his lab and personal armory, cause he might have one of the most OP weapons in there, cause even though there are other people who could outinvent stewie, there is no denying that he got some good shit on him.

Turn 3 (August, 20XX)
This... is going to be an interesting month.

You sit in your office, watching the video of Mary Test's call for help on a laptop, hands folded and your brow furrowed deeply. You had no idea who this girl was, or what exactly was her importance in terms of... everything, really, if this girl is capable of hijacking the airwaves and broadcasting a message for hours on repeat. She might have some kind of connection to the government or to someone that possesses some impressive intelligence, judging by the darkened laboratory behind her. Really, the girl was dressed in the get-up of a scientist, based on what you've seen from the science nerds employed by Maellard.

For one so young, it was impressive, but the pain in her eyes... even if she were who you thought she was, there would be no coming back from this. Not if her sister was lost to her forever.

Sighing, you lean back in your seat, your eyes drifting down to the file laying on your desk. Rigby's file.

It was a literal miracle that Daphne had been able to locate even just one of his friends, considering the hellish ordeal they went through upon their return to Earth. Rigby was the last to fall, and you shiver when remembering the last conversation you two had; the anger and fear in Rigby's voice was among your many nightmares since that day. Getting him back was your number one priority, above all else, and yet...

And yet...

"Dammit," you sigh. "This King business is a lot tougher than I thought it'd be."

"Well, it's understandable. You were just a park manager for most of your career, and then came back from space to find yourself being prepped for leadership."

You yelp, jumping in your seat and turning to glare at Nikolai, who decided it'd be cool to enter your office through the window.

"Nikolai!" you bark. "Warn a guy before you decide to spook them with your weird spy entrances, got it?"

"Ah, my apologies, Benson," he says, not sounding very apologetic at all. "But I can't help but overhear your dilemma and wanted to add in my own two cents, so you Americans say."

You raise an eyebrow. "Oh yeah? And what's that?"

Nikolai gives you a cold look. "...do not go for either one."

"Wh-what?"

"Rigby. And the Test girl," he looks at the message replaying on your laptop. "Do not go to either one of them right now, it's too soon to act."

You stare at Nikolai, your face turning red with anger. What was this guy even saying?!

You open your voice to scream bloody murder at Nikolai, only for the goat man to raise his hand and stop whatever you were going to say.

"Listen. Our Kingdom may be recovering from that huge crime spree for the past year, and we might have some heavy-hitters to balance the workload given what happened to the gang, but compared to other Kingdoms? Father, Mandark, Mandy? Hell, even total scrubs like Boxman and those weirdoes in Destroido Corp are packing enough heat to deal a lot of damage to our home, and that's not including how others will react to seeing our state. We have Slade in our north, El Malefico to our east, and some alien crime boss in our own borders."

"Where are you going with this?" you growl, getting annoyed at Nikolai's words.

Nikolai narrowed his eyes at you. "I'm saying that if you do this, there's gonna be fallout. Whichever you choose, you're going into the heart of another King's territory, breaking borders and instigating a national crisis amidst all other problems going on. The alien war in the Midwest, the invasion from those Gems up in Canada, and the fragile balance of power among all other things."

"And if I don't do anything, then people will die. Rigby could die."

"I can't stop whatever it is you're going to do. You're my Boss, my superior, and above all else... my friend. Whatever you do, I hope you at least talk it over with the others first and let them know what's going to happen. From hereon out, everything will change."

NATIONAL ACTIONS

[ ] Fanning the Flames
DC Variable
Based on Daphne's reports, there seems to be several resistance groups cropping across several Kingdoms, each one different in their own way but fighting with the same common goal: topple the King and bring back the old order. You're not equipped to set out for an all-out war, but that doesn't mean you can't improvise.

REWARD: Contact with resistance group(s) is made. ???
  • NOTE: Choosing this option will set up a mini-vote after the Turn that will have voters pick which resistance group they wish to help out.

[ ] Waste Management Business
DC 100/???
You've finally put a name to the one pulling the strings on organized crime in the Kingdom: Don Kee. And while you're uncertain of where he may be hiding out at, Nicole's interrogation of his officers yielded results on areas where his syndicate has dug its claws into. If you already got them out of your city, then cutting them out of others will be a piece of cake.

REWARD: Don Kee's criminal empire crippled! Increase in Reputation across the Kingdom. ???

[ ] Old Wounds Reopened
DC 70/???

This isnt good. It would seem that Gene has decided to take advantage of your new priorities as the Boss of the Kingdom, and has decided to resume the Great Prank War. For every Turn that passes, your Park will become more defiled by Gene and his goons, resulting in a loss of income and credence among the people.

REWARD: East Pines is neutralized. Income to the Park is stabilized. ???

[ ] Border Control
DC 70

You have learned that Don Kee is getting his dirty goods by sneaking them in through the border. Find and neutralize these areas of entry before the situation grows out of hand.

REWARD: Don Kee's criminal empire is crippled. Security at your borders is raised significantly. ???

[ ] Recruitment
DC 55
With war on the horizon, you need the manpower to bolster your small army of security guards and what better way to do it than posting about it online? This may be your last hope of marshalling some type of defense force to hold back whatever enemy force might turn their eyes in your direction.

REWARD: Your military's numbers are bolstered tremendously!

[ ] Olive Branch
DC Variable
The world has changed and you can't hide away from it any longer. So long as the Kings still hold some level of control over the country, you need to break bread with these rulers and make alliances in the event of something going wrong in the future. But it's not like that's gonna happen soon… right?

REWARD: Contact with another King is made. ???
  • NOTE: This will be its own mini-vote if it's included in the winning plan.

[ ] Diligent Citizen!
DC 60
The U.S. Government has fallen on hard times and this alien war coming to the borders has only made things worse for them. In this time of desperate need, perhaps casting a lifeline out to the fledgling government might give you the in you've been looking for. Also save you a bullet in the back one day soon.

REWARD: Communications established with the federal government.

[ ] Green Thumb
DC 70 (Will face a negative malus due to Gene's actions)
As much as you love The Park, you can't deny that it's fallen on hard times. The lack of a groundskeeping crew to keep the land tended has led to many areas becoming unkept and a safety hazard in some peculiar areas. The days of damages being restored in a week's time are gone. It's time to roll up your sleeves and get dirty.

REWARD: The Park is restored to its original setting and gains a lot more business with the locals. Increase in income. ???

[ ] Insurance Policy
DC Variable
Your funds are getting a little low for your liking, so it's time to find ways to bring those numbers back up and beyond what they originally were. In the votes below, write in what idea you would want Benson to invest in, whether it's a business, home-ownership, City expansion plan, etc. The sky's the limit.

REWARD: ???

[ ] Passing of the Torch
DC 40

Reuniting with Sensai has opened your eyes to a potential opportunity: buying out Death Kwon Do as your own club sandwich food-chain. While it might not be as widely known and regarded as Wing Kingdom, it can still fetch you some much-needed income.

REWARD: You are the owner of the Death Kwon Do business, which resides only in the Kingdom's borders. +2 to Income with every Turn.
+1 Stewardship skill increase to whoever is placed on this action.

[ ] Getting The Band Back Together
DC 400
You were separated from your friends upon your return to Earth. Skips and Mordecai were shot down in their own fliers; Muscle Man, Fives, and Rigby disappeared in separate space carts amidst a wave of lasers; and Eileen lost grip on the dome while trying to repair damages to the outer shell somewhere in the stratosphere. Every day without them weighs heavy on your conscience. You can't delay any longer, you need to find your crew again.

REWARD: ???
  • NOTE: The longer time goes on, the higher the malus will increase.

[ ] Diamond is Breakable
DC 90/???
Okuyasu is a loud, but nice guy who's shown nothing but hard work since he joined the Park's crew. However, your trip to Avdol's shop shows that he's hiding something, something he doesn't want others to know about. Try to find out what it is that's affecting him and how it ties into the predictions that Avdol made.

Reward: Okuyasu's past revealed. ???

[ ] An Amazing World?
DC 110
Reading through Daphne's file makes you realize that Nicol's family comes from Elmore, the strange little land that no one on the West Coast seems to get a read on. Until now.

REWARD: Backstory on Nicole and her family revealed. Knowledge about ??? revealed.

[ ] Find Your Family
DC Variable
Your family has left the Kingdom and you have no idea where they could be. It's time to track them down and see if they're okay.

REWARD: Benson's family whereabouts known. New location… ???

[ ] Chop Shop
DC 200
The Park is more than just a park. It's home, a part of you that will never go away, no matter how much time passes. It's also a giant spaceship but one in need of repair. You've done your fair share of fixing areas of the ship while in space, so how hard can rebuilding it from scratch be?

Reward: The Park becomes a mobile fortress. Able to be called upon for future attacks. Learning skill increases by ???

[ ] Blood in the Water
DC 50/???
These Kings are like sharks in the water, eagerly waiting to pick up the scraps coming from your Kingdom. And with how loose your funds are starting to get, it won't be long until they seize the chance to exploit any weaknesses you have. Start conferring with others on how to tighten your defenses before it's too late.

REWARD: Areas designated as weak points are discovered. Future actions will be unlocked to help strengthen your borders.

[ ] Espionage
DC Variable
And if these Kings are determined to probe you for weaknesses, then what's to stop you from doing the same to them? Select a Kingdom you wish to investigate and assign someone to find out what secrets they hold...

REWARD: Information about the chosen Kingdom is revealed. ???

  • NOTE: This will be its own mini-vote if it's included in the winning plan.

[ ] Mutual Attraction?
DC Variable
Okuyasu's Stand has found you a potential ally with Avdol, but what else could be around here? Travel the City and/or the Kingdom to see what other Stand users are active in the area.

Reward: Okuyasu sees what his Stand can attract from other magical users. ???
  • NOTE: If taken, Okuyasu must sacrifice his Personal Action for this option.

PERSONAL ACTIONS

[ ] Anger Management
Yeaaaaah, this one isn't subtle. You've got anger issues. Bad ones at that. Despite your anger being a powerful source behind your motivations, you can't deny that the tiniest of things are able to set you off. So far, it's been fine but with certain aspects (coughcough-Gumball & Darwin-coughcough) being thrown into your life, your stress levels are bound to go up. Some counseling and anger management sessions could improve that, though.

[ ] Check In On The Others
So you weren't able to find your own family, but what about those that belong to your old workers? Check on people like Starla, Techmo, Mordecai and Rigby's families, etc.

[ ] See What Shows Are On Now
You got to have something on in the background while working on these papers, so why not check out what new shows are on the air waves? So long as it isn't another Carter and Briggs rerun, you'll take anything.

[ ] Go to Wing Kingdom
You're overworked and in need of a break. Take a load off with some delicious, edible wings...

[ ] Look for Pam
You found her, Pam! Hooray.
Bad news... she's working for Mandark. Crap.
Try to find a way to establish contact with Pam and find out why she decided to join up with that loser.

[ ] The Motherland
When Nikolai ran from Russia during the Great Fall, he dared not look back in fear of what he might have saw. Now that he's safe in America and things are settling down, perhaps it's time to see what those snakes that poisoned the Motherland are up to.

REWARD: Information about Russia revealed!! Information about ???

[ ] Reconnaissance
While Benson and the others may be focused on the power balance in America, Nikolai has heard rumors of things stirring in the east involving demons and aliens. Wonder what's up with that?

REWARD: Information about ???

[ ] Networking
Every intelligence agency worth their salt needs one key factor in making sure that system remains operable: agents. Scour the underbelly of the criminal underworld to find suitable candidates to recruit into your network.

REWARD: Nikolai begins creating a spy network for Benson's Kingdom. Unlocks ???

5/150

[ ] Go to Cheeser's
You always liked Cheeser's and their famous grilled cheese sandwiches. Now without any assassins gunning for your head, perhaps this is the perfect opportunity to grab a bite.

REWARD: One cheesy sandwich down the hatch.

[ ] Continue Training
It's a dangerous world out there and one that isn't going to see Daphne Blake held captive any longer! Continue training your mind and body to improve your current physical physique.

REWARD: Martial skill increase for Daphne! ???

[ ] Action News 6
You've received an invitation to come onto a live interview with someone called Margaret Smith, some top reporter for the City. Benson says that she's an old friend of his workers, so perhaps taking up the offer wouldn't be so bad.

REWARD: Diplomacy skill increase for Daphne! ???

[ ] The Gang...
It's been some time...
REWARD: ???

[ ] Guys Night!
See if you can get the other boys to come hang out with you some night and relax.

REWARD: Relationship increase for Okuyasu and the other male Hero Units!

[ ] Train Your Stand
You haven't had the chance to practice with The Hand since you got to the Kingdom. Time to get your ass into gear and break some bones!! …waitaminute.

REWARD: Occult skill increases for Okuyasu!

[ ] Explore the City
You feel too cooped up inside the Park lately and need to clear your head a bit. Head out for a walk to see what you can find.

REWARD: Okuyasu becomes familiar with the City's layout!!

[ ] Go to the Doctor
You figure it's about that time again to get your heart checked out, so see what the doctors have to say about it now.

REWARD: Charlie gets a general health check-up.

[ ] The Old Gang
You haven't talked much to Pim or the others since that terrible day long ago... maybe you can see what they're up to now.

REWARD: New information about the old Smiling Friends gang. ???

[ ] Hang Out With Wilt
Wilt's been chill to talk with, but you haven't really had the time to actually hang out with him. Fix that, why don'tcha?

REWARD: Charlie and Wilt hang out together.

[ ] Talk With Karma
That mysterious woman who listened to your drunken rambles seemed chill enough for you, and you do have her phone number on hand. Maybe see if she's up for another drink since you don't have a car of your own.

REWARD: Charlie talks to Karma.

[ ] Nightly Stroll
You haven't been to southern California before, let alone the City. Maybe it's time to see what sights are out there to explore.

REWARD: Charlie becomes acquainted with the City's layout. ???

[ ] Tidy Up The House
Your home is... not awful, but it hasn't been kept up to standards, certainly not like your old home. Time for some good ol'-fashioned motherly spring cleaning! (Yes, boys, you have to clean as well.)

REWARD: The Park House is a lot cleaner than before. ???

[ ] Take Your Family Out
You and the boys have enjoyed your stay at the Park, but there isn't much to do around here. But perhaps a family day-out will change those thoughts.

REWARD: Nicole and her family head out into the City for a fun day. ???

[ ] In Memoriam
???

REWARD: ???

[ ] Help Someone Out
It's a big city out there and people still need help with their daily business in some way. Time to be a good samaritan!

REWARD: Diplomacy skill increase for Wilt! ???

[ ] Hang Out With The Kids
As an Imaginary Friend, you were created to show kids love and care in a world that seemed cruel at times. And these two young boys at the Park seem withdrawn for whatever reason. Try to find them and cheer them up!

REWARD: Wilt finds out what's eating Gumball and Darwin's mind nowadays. ???

[ ] Hang Out With A Coworker
Charlie's a sweet guy, but you don't really know anyone else in the crew. Maybe a game of hoops can help fix that for you guys!

REWARD: Wilt learns more about the Park Crew!

[ ] Look for ???
???

REWARD: ???

QUESTS

NOTE: This is the beginning of your toughest challenges that comes with being a King. Every once in awhile, you will find yourself receiving opportunities to travel out of the Kingdom to achieve some sort of special reward. Whether that's finding a lost friend, gaining a new ally, toppling a King, or even all of the above.

BUT... in doing so, you must select who you want to send on these Quests, and by doing so, you will be sacrificing ALL PERSONAL ACTIONS in order for them to be allowed to take this journey. So choose wisely.

You can take anyone from Benson to his park crew, to even other Hero Units out in the area with you on this Quest. HOWEVER, circumstances to bring a non-Park Hero Unit with you will be revealed in the next category.

Below are your QUESTS available to you... select ONE to take.

[ ] Creepy Things Happen in Nowhere...
At last, you've found one of your old friends: Rigby! The bad news is that he's stranded somewhere in Nowhere, Katz's domain. You have to be careful when treading this Kingdom, as Katz is merciless to outsiders and if he discovers you in his borders, then it's game over.

[ ] Her Only Hope...
The country has heard Mary Test's plight and chose to ignore it. But you didn't and now, it's up to you to march right into the middle of a war between Rutopia and Porkbelly to save the life of one girl. The stakes are high and being caught means the end. Be careful...

And keep in mind... you are not obligated to take these Quests on as MANDATORY. They will be available to you... but only for a certain amount of time, depending on rolls and the story unfolding currently. For example, 'Her Only Hope...' will only be offered for this Turn, whereas 'Creepy Things Happen in Nowhere...' can continue past this Turn for however long it can.

HEROES FOR RECRUITMENT
NOTE: As you continue your Quest, you will find that your enemies will have plenty of resources and powerful opponents at their disposal, and you'll have to even the playing field on both accounts. To do so, actions will become available for you to RECRUIT Hero Units for hire! Now take heed on this, because the rules apply as follow:

1.) Only Benson and Nikolai can take this offer, due to their status in the pecking order; Benson as the King and Nikolai as his 2iC.
2.) Recruiting a Hero will cost one of them TWO PERSONAL ACTIONS for recruitment and can only be taken ONCE per each Turn.
3.) These Hero Units are not held down by responsibilities like your Park Crew, so they will have more autonomy to do what they want in the Kingdom. So choose wisely on who you want.

If you choose to purchase a Hero Unit for this round, keep in mind that they can be supplemented into your current Quest as your Companion.

  • Margaret Smith
  • Muhammad Avdol
  • Karma Eiss

Mortarium lasts... TWELVE HOURS!!
Voting process ends... in SIXTEEN HOURS!!
