Did any of the other Kings die, get seriously injured, or lost territory?
Or did we - unforrtunately - get noticed, and now we have to deal with a small army?
It would seem that whatever transpired this month has infuriated Father, though many people are unaware of what it is that has set him off. Regardless, newsfeed from Evil Adult News show multiple reports of Father launching assaults on what few remaining KND treehouses remain standing in his borders, most of them falling before the pyromaniac's might or to the cruel machines of his Delightful Children. The KND are scattered and lost without a clear showing of leadership, and Father returns to his home, content with his victory over his arch-nemeses.
Mandark Inc.
Mandark/"Number 1" - 86
Think Tank - 23
Holding a live press conference aired across all air waves in the United States, Number 1 showed off his latest invention: a replica of the Kryptonite-empowered power armor worn by Lex Luthor! Modified and calibrated to fit Mandark's, err… unique physique, the arrogant business tycoon now packs the literal punch to smash any confidence his opponents may have over him.
"Any peon who would dare challenge the might of Number 1 is welcome to try," Mandark commented, sporting a heinous smile. "After all, suicide is the coward's way out. Ha. Haha. HAHAHAHAHA!"
Unseen to the public eye, Mandark's Think Tank (the true creators of the power-suit) stew in anger over their boss once again taking credit for their hard work. Those like Hoagie P. Gilligan Jr. and Cindy Bear openly express their outrage at Mandark's arrogance, while others like Eddward and Vector, the creator of Aku's highly-lethal Ultra-Bots, are resigned to this type of life.
Endsville
Mandy - 63
Lord Boogey - 5
Despite the near attempt on her life prior to this month, Mandy shows no sign of stopping in her current goals. Already, she has strengthened security around her borders with towering Golems imported from the Nightosphere realm and has been reported searching for ancient tomes that will empower her armies with nigh-invincible power. All the while, her new secretary of state, the disembodied head of the former Grim Reaper morosely states that things are proceeding as normal, and that there's nothing to worry about, mon.
However, things could be better for Lord Boogey's pirate armada. Chasing down one of their wayward ships to the coasts of Florida, they have lost all traces of the perpetrators behind Mandy's assassination attempt… the same one that cost the life of her former secretary of state, Billy's. Rather than return and grovel at Mandy's feet, Lord Boogey has decided to sail out into the open seas, hoping to catch any leads in the upper Northern seas. This does not sit well with the Pirate Lords.
Nowhere
Katz - 29
Business continues as normal for Katz, who quietly deals with any intruder to his border with swift and lethal action. However, he feels as though something is amiss… something right under his nose. He does not know what it is, but the feeling of being played does not sit right with the feline ruler. Nonetheless, until he has concrete evidence of something going on, he'll leave it to LeQuack to find and eliminate this source through any means necessary.
Boxmore
Lord Boxman - 13
??? - 82
Oh dear, things could be going better for Lord Boxman. Following his abysmal performance at the Boxmore Expo Convention in Metropolis, it would seem that many of Lord Boxman's government contractors are demanding lower prices when it comes to purchasing his weapons, which greatly infuriates the one-eyed man. However, he finds himself stuck in a predicament when the Evil Board of Villains also have voiced their dissatisfaction with how things turned out in Metropolis.
His social status is wavering fast, and he needs to find a way to turn things around before it's too late.
Elsewhere… a new power is rising.

META-HUMAN RIVALS
H.I.V.E. Kingdom
Slade - 6
Brother Blood - 65
??? - 36
For the first time in many years, Slade has been humiliated by a band of young heroes. He does not know where this new group of sidekicks have come from, but in the past month, they've destroyed many factories pertaining to his Deathstroke units and have put several meta-humans out of commission, such as Johnny Rancid, Fang, and Trident. The last villain does clue Slade in that there appears to be a member of this team that possesses Atlantean traits, something he must study for future encounters.
Meanwhile, Brother Blood's academy continues to thrive, despite the set-backs in Slade's operations. His new students are progressing at a decent pace, but he believes that a little coercion can get them ready for field action within the next month or so. His eyes glow malevolently as he pictures the bodies of these new heroes, just like those insufferable Titans from days long past.
And for those still resisting Slade's regime? They continue to fight the good fight, but lately have come to feel as though things aren't moving fast enough for them. A group divide is slowly forming between those that think they should hit harder and those who believe in death by a thousand cuts.
La Obscura Encordada
El Malefico - 42
Ha! And they said Luchaor was a dead fad, not with these turn-outs at the wrestling ring! El Malefico chortles in malevolent glee as he pounds the captured Luchador students and wrestlers captured and held in his dungeons into the dirt, their sliver of hope at defeating him crushed just like their bodies.
Business is slowly rising and he is happy to stretch the kinks out of his backs. Life is good again.
Flame Kingdom
Flame King - 30
The Flame King has grown bored with the way things are progressing in the human world, but is too half-assed to get off his throne and do something about it. So he takes it out on his court jesters, evaporating their forms into nothing and repeating the cycle over and over.
The Flame Princess meanwhile grows angrier at her captivity, the desire to freedom roaring inside her like a great flame. Soon…
The Guild of Calamitous Intent
The Monach- 56
There's been a slight uptick of recruitment for the Guild's roster, picking up wayward souls to become generic henchmen for villains or gaining an independent supercriminal to join their ranks. Lately, they've allowed some guy called 'The Common Cold' access to their Guild's roster, but quickly came to regret it when they received back his paperwork covered in thick, yellow mucus. Gross.
Arkham City
Hugo Strange - 73-10 (Arkham Lockdown) = 63
Arkham City Inmates - 98
The Joker - 75+10 (Arkham Lockdown) = 85
Arkham City has been thrown into chaos. Apparently, some guy got tossed in there recently and is in possession of… well, no one's quite sure, but it's worth the sea of bodies one has to kill and climb over to get there. So far, it seems that almost all of the mega-prison city's inmates are united (for now) in pursuit of the MacGuffin and whoever the poor sap carrying it is.
Hugo Strange has been trying to wrangle some measure of control back to the city, but the chaotic nature of the regular inmates and the superhuman abilities of the meta-humans have made it impossible to contain this month.
Meanwhile… no one has taken notice of three people (all in some form of circus get-up) wandering into the Industrial Mill section of Arkham City. And the screams of the Toyman are drowned out by the chaos of the city outside.
"Well done, JJ!" the Joker croons, petting the top of his boy's head like a proud father. "Way to stick it to that overgrown man-child creep! Harley, dump the body somewhere out back, but leave the mask. It'll make for a nice souvenir for our lil Jay. His first-ever kill!"
"Righty-O, Puddin'!" Harley grunts, pulling the Toyman's body out the door, ignoring the trail of blood his body leaves behind.
The Joker walks over to JJ, who is staring out into the city with a wide smile, eyes glazed over and unfocused. The Clown Prince of Crime puts an arm around the boy and gives him a smile of his own.
"Take it all in, son. Take it in. Because soon, we're gonna give this miserable town the wake-up wedgie call it needs! And who else to have by my side than you? My own Clown Prince."
JJ just laughed, ignoring the tears pouring down his cheeks. The Joker grinned darkly at the sound.
The Foot Domain
The Shredder - 35
Hun/Purple Dragons - 16
The Ronin - 27
Dorian - 7
Despite the success of the mission to Endsville, Hun returned to New York battered and on the verge of collapse. He's spent the past month recuperating from his hellish trek from Florida up to the Foot Clan's domain, fighting past the armies of Father and Lord Boxman in the process. The Shredder is annoyed by his subordinate's weakness, but allows it. He completed his mission, might as well give him his reward.
Meanwhile, Edge City is in chaos. It appears that the Ronin has spent some extra time dishing out damage to crime lord Dorian's operations, resulting in the Big-Headed Killer going on a rampage to find the one behind this muck-up. All that he's found are warehouses of dead goons and destroyed products, setting his operations back even further. The Shredder is not pleased.
Rutopia
Stewie Griffin - 24
That accursed Bling-Bling Boy! How dare he compare the intellect of Stewart Gilligan Griffin to that of a neanderthal ape? It's absurd, ridiculous even! Oh, but he won't be taking this down lightly. He's dealt with the overgrown child plenty of times to know his weaknesses, and his agents have brought back a prize sure to cripple BBB's resolve.
Porkbelly
Bling-Bling Boy - 33
Test Sisters - 20
A tragedy has swept the state of Porkbelly, a tragedy which unfolded under their great leader's nose. The kidnapping of Susan Test!
It appears that the perpetrators behind this action were from Rutopia, ruled by their leader's eternal rival: Stewie Griffin. Already, Bling-Bling Boy is mobilizing his robot army to march on Rutopia, ready to save the love of his life and put an end to Stewie's reign of terror once and for all!
Meanwhile, a frantic Mary Test is at home trying to figure out how to save her sister without getting her killed… and she might have a dumb idea.

It was a cold day in Hell for the people in Peach Creek when the Kanker Sisters learned that their favorite punching bag, Eddy, had left his job in the middle of the day without telling anyone. They tore up the cul-de-sac that he lived on for any sign of the little weasel, only to find that he'd skipped town days ago.
However… they have an idea where he's going, based on the improvised map they found on his nightstand. One leading to some place in California.
The Kanker Sisters are on the hunt for Eddy McGee. Strike one for Eddy; he has two more chances to escape to California before the Kanker Sisters catch up to him.

LAST TIME ON THE ADVENTURES OF LOTTON THE WIZARD!
He nodded considering your offer. "You are not with those wankers at Taskforce X are you?"
"Do I look competent enough to be a Fed, or better yet be on their kill squad?" You said.
He looked at you for a moment. "Seem smart enough given all your body armor."
You shrugged. "I'd call that a yes to the deal."
He then nodded "For now…whats that case anyway?"
"I have no idea, and I've actually looked at it." You said. "We can check tomorrow."
Boomerang nodded. "Where are you from again?"
"I'm from Roanapur." You said.
"Oh your from that shithole…well at least you know some of the game, but Arkham's going to eat you alive if your not careful." He said.
You almost smiled. "Just let me rest first…then I'll let you sneak a peak."
----------------------------------------------
Captain Boomerang gives a +5 to all rolls not related to martial, and a +15 to all combat rolls for
this turn.
(Lotton POV)
Today was going to be extremely hard… let's get started, shall we?
You woke up with a start, the handcuffed case still attached to your wrist, Boomer was sitting in a corner, in a comfy chair, sharpening a Boomerang.
"Well, and here I thought I was a light sleeper?" You said taking a moment to look at the pot near the man…was that coffee?
"Can't move as good as I can without it, Panguin's got the only reliable supply of the stuff, but the fact I found some here means I can relax a bit more then usual." He said. "We got a minute before the rush; or what passes for a morning rush around here."
You took the solo cup, black coffee, you hated black coffee, you don't get how people stand the damn thing without milk or cream.
"Heli's or just the morning brawls?" You asked taking a sip, slightly gagging as it was going down.
"Morning brawls for things to sell for breakfast, Commissary's close to Strange's tower and well, you'd have to be desperate or stupid to go there…most don't come back." He said.
"Sounds like Hotel Moscow, they have a similar policy." You said. "So…now that we've slept on it, let us hash out our deal like civilized crooks."
Lotton Stewardship Check: Hashing out a Deal
DC:40/60/80
Rolled: D100 + 11 => 45
"First things first, I want out, and you seem to have connections to do it, there's no ifs or buts on that." Captain Boomerang said before taking a sip.
You nodded. "Its the least I can do, given the fair hospitality you've show, I don't have many chips with Ole Balalika, but I've been reliable and she owes me at least one favor for services rendered."
"Second, Thirty Percent." He said.
God damn…he really was a crook. You'd never live this one down.
Sawyer would call you a bitch. At least try….
"Twenty-Five." You said firmly.
"Thrity…I ain't cheap." He said. "Plus I know the City."
Point…
Stewardship Check: Traveling the City
Who's Territory are you going too?:
WHO: d4 => 3 (Ebon Gang Turf)
Rolled: D100 + 11 + 5 => 55
Encounters?: D100 => 5 (No)
"What they get you on?" You asked as you walked down the street, following a dilapidated section of buildings and alleyways. It looked like a bad mix of modern and 40s architecture.
"It was either go into the City or work my life away in their little Task Force X , Suicide Squad if you were in the know…did a few missions but couldn't deal with the strain, plus bomb in the noggin" He stopped and pointed at the back of his neck.
"Couldn't deal with it, asked to be let in, as a courtesy for "Services rendered…" They had it taken out and dumped me." He said.
"Considering the accommodations involved why?" You asked.
"Some of us want to choose how to go out, on our own terms, We weren't meant to be tools; I'm a greedy son of a bitch I'll be the first to admit that kid, but even so…I want the end to be from my mistakes, not some monolith far above me." He looked up to Strange's tower.
"You'd hate Roanapur, it'll choke you out and piss on your grave…no law no order, only the facade of strength and despair; we are all just marking time there." You said.
"Sounds like a prison that everyone can leave but never wants to?" He said.
"Misery loves company…the minute you realize you can leave it'll find a way to destroy you." You said.

Common Sense?: D100 => 65 (Yes, no loss of bonus for you.)
You breathed in and watched the fire burn around you…
You wanted to help, but you didn't want to …so many would be doomed in the crossfire.
Let's not cause any fuss, it can't help if you're dead.
You breathed in and looked around slowly. Take in the details of the city around you. It was a living being after all.
A Man dressed like Zeus was giving energy in his sector.
You could hear the drum of music and the clanking of drinking glasses in a bar across the way, laden with black market goods and smugglers. You could even see a man making a deal with the Penguin. Information about-
The scene shifted-
Ebon was watching you, unseen and curious
In the Tower, Dr. Strange was talking with someone, "You want me to just announce it? The chaos would throw the entire ecosystem out of balance!"
A voice on the other side of the line made a point.
"Yes it would buy us some time to Isolate the Clown…you do make a point, and you are certain this intelligence is reliable"
He stopped. And for a moment, you thought he was looking for you from his tower.
(+10 to all Rolls while in Ebon's territory)
Diplomacy Roll: "Just passing through, what the Word"
DC:80/90/100/120
Rolled: D100 + 11 => 102+10=112
You shivered as you took a moment to look at Boomer. "This guy friendly?"
Boomer nodded. "He's willing to talk, and stab you in the front as much as the back."
"Any advice?" You said.
"Give him due respect and he won't have any reason to hurt you." He said.
The shadows then darkened, your man was making a show of it.
"You know there is a toll to pay?" He was using his powers to project his voice over the area.
You almost felt scared. "I'm just passing through boss, on a job, i'd guess even you wouldn't have enough respect on your name to do anything rash without a reason."
Ebon then appeared a few seconds later in front of you and smiled "Right you are courier…Boomer, didn't think things would go bad enough for you to play bodyguard to a runner? The offer still stands as it were."
"Piss off, he's at least paying up front, you didn't." He said as the powered gangster nodded.
"A fair point, ole Shimmer's out and well we could always use talented men." He said.
You shrugged, looking around to see the dozen or so crooks, gangsters, and other assorted low-lives that called this place home.
"I prefer to keep my options open, I'm a contractor, but I'm a bit behind on whats going on here." You asked.
"Well the Clown is back and raising all sorts of hell trying to get weapons and men for…whatever the hell is going on.
INTERUPTION!:
Did Balalika find a Buyer?: D100 => 100
The Intercom roared to life and for but a moment the entirety of the prison froze and listened to the announcement.
Citizens, Prisoners, and honored guests…I am coming to you now with an offer from an esteemed guest at our home. Who has come to you with a business offer and an announcement to the men and women conducting business within our halls? If you may?
No…NO noo…that two-timing BITCH!
Ahh, I'm glad that our host has allowed me to speak on such a wondrous occasion. Lotton if you're listening to this…I've finally found some buyers for our little prize…however, your roll in this is no longer strictly necessary. If you are able to reach the SHREDDER, the HIVE agent known as Jinx; Our dearest friends in Cadmus..they'd really want what you have back, and a dear old friend.
Now I don't wish to have to pay the price for your extraction and I was given a better deal of sorts…if anyone can kill him in the next seventy-two hours, I will personally finance and secure your release from Arkham City.
That wasn't part of the deal Balalika?
The Deal has changed, as you recall from our mutual acquaintance who brokered this. And this will keep everyone occupied while I help prepare your men for the real problem you want dealt with.
Oh and Lotton…since I'm a believer in giving you a chance…out of a favor for services rendered. I'm setting the Timer to Seventy-Two Hours…if you manage to get to a buyer, make the drop and contact me…I will spare your life and allow you to leave and return to Roanapur unmolested and we can carry on with our work.
If not, at least have the courtesy to die near one of the contacts.
Ta Ta…
Ebon Reaction: D100 => 38
Ebon and nearly the entire gang were quiet…taking in the words and offer on hand. They weighed their options, considered the deal, and who gave it.
They didn't know Balalika was a sadistic bitch doing this to indulge her bloodlust… fool the lot of them.
BEEEEP. The Bomb in your body activated with a low hum, and the small glow signified its activation.
"Man…this is fucked up." Ebon said. "Really."
Boomer for a moment looked away, then at the tower and then prepared his boomerang. "Six and Eight o'clock…five of them, another four at eleven and two."
"It's a hard sell, think you can hit them?" You said.
"If you can shut up the idiot?" he said.
"Done." You said.
The conversation was less then a minute in as the intercom went silent and they finally began to make a choice.
Martial: QUICK DRAW! (Lotton vs Ebon)
Ebon: d100 => 32
Vs
Lotton: d100 => 82+10=92
It was a damn shame that they were too late on the draw.
(Lotton gains +5 to all martial rolls for the fight)
First things first…you had to incapacitate the guy in front of you and then shoot the guys at your left and right.
And you had to do it quickly as Boomer was going to be throwing like mad to hit everyone behind you. And it would be a difficult thing to do against everyone here at the same time.
Good news, you were chained to a 25-pound brick in a solid titanium briefcase. And Ebon was still considering his options.
Bad News, this would be the only easy fight where you'd have the advantage of surprise.
Well time to get on with it.
With the force of a sledgehammer and as fast as a lightning bolt the symbol he wore of his job was turned into a weapon.
In your other hand had a gun with ten shots…and had to make them all count, there were four in front of him beside the guy you were hammering.
And they weren't even wearing armor. It probably made Captain Boomerang very happy as the man threw his weapons defeating the group behind you, getting them in seconds.
*Bang**Bang**Bang* *Bang*
Four shots, and four dead, using your momentum and good aim to get them in quick succession.
Ebon lay on the floor in pain and surrounded by dead men. His men.
You nodded and kicked him in the face, making him go to sleep for a while.
Ebon's Gang just lost…. Like almost all of its members in this area. and Ebon was wounded.
Boomer nodded and started to run for it, He'd suggested running for the Penguin's territory to buy some time and cut a deal or at least get an intermediary to get your buyer a place to sell.
"Just who the hell were you before you joined the life?" He asked as you shrugged.
"No one of consequence." You said. "Seriously…I wasn't that important in the past."
Boomer nodded. I won't pry for now, but I'd need an explanation soon, clocks ticking as it were?"
You closed your eyes and considered the logical choices Balalika would have told you to do.
Two-Face, Was crazy...and unstable, if someone needed to flip a coin to make a decision it was wise to not make that bet.
The Penguin was a businessman first and foremost, a gangster with the making of a Russian Oligarch.
Thorne was a gangster of the Italian school, and like all that could be manipulated by Hotel Moscow's strength.
So for now, you'd follow that logic.
Reward: Area Trait Activated: "Arkham Lockdown!": Lotton has just had his mission revealed to the entirety of Arkham City they now really want what he has in exchange for their freedom and a hefty payday. (-10 to all stealth roll while in Arkham City, +10 to all encounter Rolls.)

Could be, there is one OK KO villain who's a natural fit for a rising power, with him being significantly more threatening than Boxman, but we will see how it goes
The Great Diamond Authority has resumed their campaign into the United States, striking at an area forbidden to all military forces in the country: the Drone Realm. With Jasper leading the charge, she managed to coordinate a ground and naval assault on the states of Minnesota and Michigan, making landfall and establishing a foothold in several areas in both states. Satisfied, Jasper holds her advancement to begin planning her next plan of action.
For Peridot, she's made a breakthrough lately! Studying the weapon recorded by her probes from the rogue Bismuth's attack, she's managed to construct an exact replica of the Point-Breaker, managing to pierce through the hardest hulls of human armor. Only Jasper and other officers of her caliber will receive one, while the other soldiers of their army will bear regular weapons or rely on their natural-crafted skills.
Reports of the Crystal Gems have been few and far between, mostly because of Jasper's focus on the Drone Realm. One has to wonder what they're planning now, while their kind are besieging the Midwest.
Drone Realm
Gelorum - 13
Dr. Tezla - 81
Silencerz - 80
Lady Gelorum is having a bad month. Between failing to stop the human racers from launching more attacks on her production sites, now she finds herself under siege from two sides: the Gem warriors from the north, and the Mutraddi horde from the east. Gelorum struggles to coordinate operations, dispatching Lieutenant Wylde back to the Mutraddi front while Commander Kadeem holds the line on the Gem theater. However, she fears that it won't be enough at this rate.
Those that resist Gelorum's rule continue to strike deadly blows to Gelorum's Drone war machine, though are nowhere close to grabbing one of the legendary Accelechargers spread out across the Kingdom. Dr. Tezla grows impatient, and the Silencerz refuse to cooperate with Tezla's radical plans.
Wastelands of Mutradd
Lance - 54
Ilana - 42
The Mutraddi have struck back, and leading the charge is the young Lieutenant General Lance, who is eager to show those pathetic Drones a true military power. Smashing through legions of Drones' took much time, but by the month's end, he was able to establish a series of outposts across the Iowa-Minnesota state lines. With this victory, he is now ready to continue his hunt for the elusive Princess Ilana, as well as bring down Lady Gelorum from her cradle of power.
Meanwhile, the young Galalunian princess has found refuge among the human survivors within Gelorum's realm, but their safety is not secured. Her rescuer, one 'Monkey', claims to be a part of some Metal Maniacs that protect the people in this kingdom but lost track of them during a raid some time ago. Until they find sanctuary, they are forced to live together in Monkey's strange-smelling car in the ruins of a human settlement.

Jerry Smith - 74
After the horrible invasion of those Gem aliens, Jerry decided that enough was enough, and that it was time to start taking things seriously. Already, wooden forts and detachments of guards surround the few secure entry points leading in-and-out of Old World, and their placement would deter enemy forces to take other routes which would lead them right into the heart of the Infected.
Jerry gave himself a pat on the back for such a great idea.

In lighter news, the past collaboration between Alex Rosewater and the U.S. have allowed for new business opportunities to be discussed between both parties. Plenty of government officials have been coming in and out of Paradigm City, impressed by what they see inside its borders and are hungry to capitalize off the market Rosewater has cultivated for himself. Rosewater is also eager to expand his borders, considering his only competition right now is Boxman, and two children in a fight with each other.
Let the games begin…
Langley Falls
Ricky Spanish - 53
Ricky Spanish's latest act of cruelty is invading the Lincoln Memorial site and revealing the truth behind its existence; peanut butter was created by Abe Lincoln's wife as a means of keeping away evil spirits, and demonstrated its usefulness by summoning a demon from the Underworld and scaring it off with a pentagram symbol made of peanut butter. Already, the news is sweeping the nation and many enemies of Mandy see this as a perfect way to weaken her forces.
Mandy vows to have this Ricky Spanish's head on a spike.
NATIONAL ACTION
72
An attempt of invading U.S. soil through Niagara Falls was thwarted, thanks to the efforts of Captain Atom, who single-handedly led the charge against the Gems and crushed their efforts underfoot. Although the G.D.A. may have a hold in Gelorum's territories, the people of America are relieved to know that there are heroes out there fighting for them. And on the side of the government.
Not to mention the Ultimen, Maxwell Lord's private squad of superheroes, performing heroic acts of rescue to civilians in crisis during the invasion. Alongside them are the elusive Plumbers organization, dedicated to capturing and bringing these heinous alien creatures to American justice!
OK, so we only have one Interlude for the arrival reports and that's it.
When that's done For next turn drops we're possible going to get Rigby out of nowhere so who do we bring?
I definitely think Nicole as a must for Marshall and Charlie for diplomacy. And for the occult Okayasu
It happened during the middle of the day. While adults were in the middle of their work-shifts and children were working diligently in school, the broadcast appeared on every channel across all of America, something which brought interest to those free at this part of the day. There wasn't much on TV around this time, outside of lame infomercials and melodramatic soap operas. Compared to both, the wave of static was a blessing to people at first.
And then, the image cleared.
And the picture of a red-haired girl in glasses, eyes obviously wet with tears, put any of those thoughts to rest. Her hands were trembling and she tried to balance her glasses, only to askew them further. When she spoke, her voice was rushed and tight with pain. Whoever this girl was, she wasn't in a good state of mind.
"My name is Mary Test..."
She gulped, taking a moment to gain her wits. The name means nothing to those watching, curious as to what this girl had to say. She looked no older than a high-schooler, maybe a young college freshmen. Yet the look in her eyes made her appear to be older than she was.
"I... I live in Porkbelly, the city under the control of Bling-Bling Boy, a greedy and vain boy. Ever since he's seized control of our home, my sister, Susan, and I have worked quietly to overthrow Eugene and bring some sense of peace back to our home. We... we had a brother that helped us but he... he's gone now. Susan didn't let that stop her and neither did I; we spent many nights sabotaging Eugene's operations. From computer viruses on his mega-computer, blowing up his private yachts when they entered city airspace, and even bribed some of his henchmen to turn the other way while we did all of this. We... we're tired of living under his thumb, acting like he's some great king when in reality, he's not. All he is is just a big, dumb bully."
She slammed her fist on the table she was recording from, making the camera shake slightly. She took a moment to gather her wits and continued speaking.
"We had little to work with, but we were fine with that. It isn't the first time the odds have been stacked against our family and we were prepared to face them, no matter how tough things got."
Here, she swallowed back a lump, tears coming back to her eyes.
"And then... my sister was kidnapped from us. Stolen away by agents of... Rutopia's king."
Those watching froze and sent a quiet prayer of mourning to that poor girl in the clutches of Stewie Griffin. It's no surprise that the people have come to resent the Kings that rule over the homes, whomever it might be, but each one had their own standards on how they operated.
Mandark was cruel and vainful, but he rewarded his workers with small compensation if they impressed him enough.
Mandy was cold as ice, but never disposed of her minions like trash. She would give them a warning to not fail her again and continue business per normal.
Even Father, the bipolar man-child who polluted the skies of his kingdom with smog, held occasional ice-cream socials as a toast to the hard-working men and women under his charge.
But Stewie Griffin?
Stewie was a monster.
Outside of the alien invaders, those who come into contact with Stewie often leave his office in a closed casket, their bodies destroyed and ruined by the toddler's torturous ways. No one knows why Stewie is the way that he is, and quite honestly, they're scared to find out what the true reason is behind his actions.
From public executions to
liquidating entire neighborhoods worth of people just to sate his never-ending bloodlust, many people associated him with the moniker of "The Mad Boy King".
Those who said that anywhere in his borders didn't have long to regret their actions.
Just the mere thought of some poor girl in the clutches of a tyrant like Stewie sent shivers down the people's spines. Prisoners under Stewie's care didn't last for long and when their remains were returned back to their families, well… most of the time, their funerals were held with closed caskets.
Mary Test shivered and looked at the camera with wide, pleasing eyes. "You all know what Stewie is capable of, and if Eugene marches his armies into Rutopia, God only knows how long he'll last before Stewie does away with him and Susan both. He's insane and can't be trusted. I need…"
She sobbed, bowing her head and hiding her face from the camera as she whispers out her plea.
"I need help. I don't care who comes at this point, just someone, anyone, listening to this, please hear me out: You have to help my sister… you're my only hope."
The video ended there. Held on a repeating loop for two hours before the government finally managed to get a hold on their regularly-scheduled programming.
But the words of Mary Test would not leave the people's conscience that night. Many of them sympathized with the girl's plight and truly hoped that she would be reunited with her sister, safe from Stewie's clutches at last.
But that hope was fleeting. And the people, resigned to living their lives under such false hopes, went about their day the next morning, trying to pretend that the tears of one girl didn't haunt their every step. QUEST UNLOCKED: Into the Lion's Den...
