Friendly/Sympathetic Vampires?

My current mental debate is how fucking weird to go with your potential adventurers. They're far less 'story effecting', being basically semi-disposable mini-heroes, so honestly it's freeing to consider making one that's just obviously a Goblin who has painted himself cream-brown.
If none of the adventurers come with a small but vicious dog I'm burning this thread to the ground.

Here is my idea, he is basicaly a Vampire Hunter with the Paranoid Trait i created earlier in the thread. He should be both useful and amusing to read abaout. Especialy how he sees enemies and spies everywere and booby traps everything he can.

Is more than one allowed? Are wizards permitted?
I'd say post up to ten if you'd like, always nice to have variety in the selection (And rotation through the tavern).
Wizards should be Early Journeymen. Lacking real battle-spells, reliant on petty magic and cantrips plus a handful of lesser coloured spells, hungry for experiences and fresh enough off their apprenticeships that they haven't the time, finances nor stability to settle in for any deep research.

Brash and arrogant in his power he will become an apprentice to the great masters of tlaxtlan and prove to his detractors that he is powerful and that he will bring glory to his name and house.


First time making a character and i wanted to have a brash young elf wizard wishing to train under the slann to be one of the characters and it would be funny that he wants to grow strong fast but his master takes decades long naps that frustrates him so much but there's still thing of if they accept him.

She dragged himself from the muck of Wurtbad to the roofs and balconies of the well off It was little more than a whim that sent her on a ship to Lustria of all places, or so at least she told herself, though he only made his bags when she heard that a large contingent of other halfligs had also made their way to the colony. Perhaps that's her chance to start anew.

Description: A poor peasant from Middenland, he has made his living, if you can call it that, by gathering heaps of crap wherever he could find them and selling them as fuel, fertilizer or even alchemical ingredients. His rather inglorious career was interrupted one day by a bunch of misfits, that wanted to shake him for the few coins he had to his name. Using his trusty shovel and immense endurance, the perks of his job, he made quick work of them. Thinking, that he could put these skills to better use, he managed to get a job as a sewer jack in Middenheim. There, he became something of a local legend, due to his fearlessness, immunity to all diseases and great skill at using his shovel (which he never abandoned) in pacifying any hoodlums, smugglers or beasts found under the streets of the city. He took jobs no other man was willing to take and went to the darkest and most infested places in the sewers, always emerging with the putrid stench of victory. Known jokingly as the "Shovel Knight", he had to make a quick getaway from his stable life after smiting some large (ok, very large) rodents and taking their tails as proof. His report was met with a visit by a local Witch Hunter, who had the bright idea of threatening a man, that knew no fear. Naturally, he ended up with his face caved in from a well-placed shovel swing. Now, Klinger has assumed, that a change of scenery would be a sound career choice. Preferably somewhere in Lustria, where his immunity to disease, lack of fear and masterful use of a shovel, both as a tool and a fighting appliance, can come in handy.


By far my favourite character, that I rolled out some time ago to create a few NPCs. A ludicrous profession, very high combat stats, resistance to disease and a lack of fear. He proved to be one of the best warriors created that day. :D

Description: While certainly not common tales of women earning a knight's spurs in secret are oft on a bard's lips. Stranger by far would be talk of one born in Bretonia with the gift of magic yet not wishing to take on the mantle of a Damsel. Many a peasant girl had vanished from her bed in the dead of night only to return years later, a Damsel of the Lady, saying nothing of how they came into their power. But when the fey slipped into Louisa's bedroom some five years past her magic lashed out with the the power they most feared, fire. The fey cursed her as it burned to never know peace and rest in the borders of the Lady's land. Whether those words held arcane truth arcane or just the terror of their telling the girl fled that night into the wilds. She was fortunate enough to be taken in by a caravan of Strigany before her power could consume her, though the old seer little time to teach her before her passing. Deciding to set off in search of a teacher on her own Louisa chose to do so in a boy's guise, reasoning that she would be safer that way traveling alone. She is still weary of the strange goddless wizards of the Colleges, but a journey over the sea to Lustria where she heard the elves lived seemed to her the best chance to undo the curse the fey had laid upon her.

Note: It's up to you @Pillowsperky if she has actually been cursed. Hedge-wizard is a basic carier in the RPG so she has even less magic than one of those early Journeymen would have, though she makes up for it by being more experienced at the actual journeying part from her time with the Strigany. Most of that Learning is not magic, it is stffl like herbcraft and animal-doctoring.

Unlike the other characters I've submitted, I haven't played this one in a game of WFRP, just thought up her name and career while proofreading Lustria.

Shaved down to the skin save for a single thin mohawk which is seperated into stripes of colour, a spectrum of hot tones from bright robin-breast red to sunflower yellow. She seems shocked when you correctly name her 'Asrai' instead of 'Asur', and seems content to smile and chirp a little odd eltharin at Rapunzel -which returns a confused look from your lover. Imilar calls herself a 'Speaker under the Boughs' by profession, entreated with the purpose to seek communion with forests and peoples far from her home glades. She is eager, if largely trained by and with the wood elves.
